The only upside was that the late food service came from one of the restos in the area because the hotel's kitchen closed at 10 p.m. or something because we arrived past 10... famished. Ended up ordering room-delivered southern fried chicken from Freddy's (that's another review)...

Room was ... old and dated. Couldn't sleep well because there was a friggin rat scuffling around the kisame... it fell twice, went bump and scuffled above me ... eeeeew. I had a balcony but was scared to open it... it was facing the street... I was on the third floor... burgundy curtains made the room feel stuffy... this would be a 2-3 star hotel... not the 5star it intended to be with its expansion a few years ago. What happened to this place??? The annex probably looks better... we were booked in the old wing (at least that's what it looked like)... I seem to recall the annex to be a bit better.

The pool and cafe areas look much much better than it did a few years back. But the conference rooms are dark and bleak. The support to the conference room we occupied was good. Commendation to Jerold, our server... ! So, because of him, they get two stars. Otherwise, I would've just given 1 star.

Hey, they had hot water, cable tv, decent air conditioning, clean rug for the room (didn't smell naman and it looked clean)... but cleaning staff neglected to pick up my dinner plate so when I got back, mega ants....nyak!

Enough said... finding a different hotel in Iloilo for my next trip...

Old, crowded and boring, I got a room with 2 double beds which appears to me as a haunted room. TV is medieval as well as the AC. Bathroom is a place where you won't feel comfortable. My room has a balcony but it doesn't give me any interesting view. Breakfast is outrageously dry. But it's near almost everywhere, so I had to stay here.

One of the finest in Ilo-ilo city. They have free WIFI access at the lobby but in the rooms you need to buy prepaid WIFI cards. Old fashioned hotel.
