Korean food brings me joy most of the time and has never failed me. Been craving for some samgyupsal for a while now so we headed to Sariwon to satisfy this craving of ours.

What we had is a meal set good for two at Php 1,100. So this includes side dishes of three variants of kimchi: radish, kangkong like and the usual cabbage, some peanuts and I forgot the other two. We also had salad, japchae, two cup of rice, doenjang chigae which is their version of sinigang (sour, a little spicy with tofu that's perfect for the grilled pork belly), steamed egg, lettuce wrap with spicy paste and garlic for that perfect wrap. It also comes with dak galbi which is a chicken grilled in this special spicy sauce. We dip it with the honey sauce for the samgyup and it reduces that spicy flavor. So good!! I am not a big japchae fan but theirs is very tasty and not too slimy. Theirs is one of my fave to date! The meat that comes with the set is the Woo Samgyup which is thinly cut pork. It's almost bacon like and really fresh. It's perfect for its honey sauce and suited just right for that lettuce wrap. It's definitely worth its price!

The service is fast and staffs are very attentive. They usually play instrumental songs of korean dramas so if you watch kdramas like me, it would be fun to guess the song from time to time. Their food is fresh and it will make you really full. Their group meals are very affordable as well so go ahead and satisfy that big korean craving of yours cause they will never disappoint.

The beef tastes great, one of the highest quality among korean places. As are the dumplings, kimchi and the other sides. The only disappointment is the soup. 500php+ per head.

Go for the Bulgogi Set! Everything was delectable from the menu. Although the noodle soup's sweetness should be toned down a bit. Most delicious and neatest Korean restaurant so far! :)

I absolutely love this place. I've been here countless times since 2013 and the quality of the food is still the same. Delicious!

That's something that you can only find in good quality restaurants.

Their Wang Galbi is still tender and juicy. Their Dak Galbi is still awesome. Their Bibimbap is still amazing. And do I still need to say something about their side dishes? LOL. Again, I love it.

For me, this is actually the best Korean restaurant that I have tried here in Philippines.

Ordered woo samgyup and idk why it ended up looking like that. The waitress was the one who grilled the meat for us and it turned out unappetizing as f. Almost undercooked 128534

Had the usual thin beef slices. Good flavour and quality, but the cut was a little bit too fatty today. Was also able to try the tofu+kimchi+beef soup. Soooo good! It was perfect for this cool weather.

Kudos to Lean for giving good service. 🙂

It's been more than 2 years since we last ate at Sariwon. We finally went back to check if there's something new that we can try.

What's new is that they now serve set meals! We tried their Woo Set Meal for 2 with a price of P550 per person. It includes Beef Belly, Spicy Chicken, Japchae, Steamed Egg Caserole, Vegetable Salad, Rice, Lettuce and various side dish like kimchi, pickled cucumber, sweet potato and peanuts. The side dish and salads were refillable. They also have set menu for 4 and 6 pax with a price of P550 to P800 per person.

I can assure this set will really make you bloated! Plenty of delicious food to eat! We really like the Beef Belly, Spicy Chicken and Japchae. After we ate, they also served a free sweet rice drink which was really good. I liked it!

On my next visit, I'll bring a lot more friends and try their other set meals! Looking forward for my next Korean lunch or dinner! :)

I like this place because of the quality of meat the serve. The beef cooks well, has great marbling, and melts in your mouth.

Service is good too, but the servers tend to linger more than you want them too. I felt like i was having dinner with one more person 128517

Oh my darling Sariwon, we meet again. Lol.

I have eaten at this place so many times, and it never fails. The meat is always so good, side dishes are amazing, I especially love their salad and sweet potato.

If there's one thing I could say, it's that they need to improve their service when it comes to refilling your side dishes. I was almost done with my meal when the kimchi refill arrived.

The delicate and complex yet simple taste of the Sariwon Bulgogi sauce won me over. Must admit that I didnt expect to love it that much, plus it's quite pricey @ 545php but I was surprised that it was delicious. The side dishes are also refillable.
Also ordered their japchae which i loved as welll.

Sariwon is one of those places i wish i had eaten at earlier. I liked how good the food and service was.

We had two orders of their 'beef bacon' strips and dulsot bibimbap. The meat was of good quality and cooked in front of you. It was unseasoned but went very well with the fermented soy bean paste served with the greens. The dulsot bibimbap was good for two and very filling. I just wish the stone bowl was hot enough to crisp-up the rice.

My favourite was the mashed sweet potato banchan (blanchan?). I had 5 servings and was really full after.

Its was a really good dinner :)

This restaurant satisfied our Korean food cravings, which are very hard to adequately please. For 1800 php this feast fed 4 of us and had us going home smiling. Amazing!

I went to dinner with my friends (who are also big fans of Korean food) and I decided to take them to Sariwon.

The moment you walk in to this place, you'll love it. The interiors are nice, clean and well kept. Another thing you instantly notice is it doesn't smell like you typical Korean BBQ restaurant. I love it, because after your meal, your hair and your clothes won't smell like your meal.

I suggested we try their set meal for four. Which includes their super awesome Sariwon Bulgogi. The broth is just so full of flavor!

Dak Galbi, chicken covered in spicy sauce.

Pajeon, which sometimes includes seafood, but in this case it was just vegetables. But still flavorsome.

Yangnyeom Buchaesal- mouthwaterig tender beef. That is all I can say.

And last but not the least their Bibimbap.

I love Sariwon! I actually think it is the best Korean restaurant in the Metro.
