Nice ambience. Cake options are limited but all delicious. I've tried Mango Graham cake and Chocolate Lava - oozing bitter sweet choco as you slice the warm soft cake. Vintage interiors, smell of brand new leather and freshly brewed coffee - perfect on a Sunday!

Lovelovelove this coffee shop! It had a very artsy, indie look and feel to it, plus their coffee and dessert were quite good.

I ordered their flat white plus the very intriguing English Breakfast tea cake/mousse. The coffee was served in a seemingly small glass but turned out that it was just the right size. The overall experience was very third wave coffee, reminiscent to Craft and Toby's Estate.

The highlight of the after dinner experience was the cake though. It was my first time to have a dessert that tasted like tea!128563 The texture or the mousse was very smooth, it was just the right level or sweetness, and I could definitely taste the subtle hint of English Breakfast Tea in it.

Service was satisfactory. The staff wasn't the usual perky type you typically encounter in Starbucks or CBTL, but they were attentive and quick enough. The store also sold LP players and albums, leather goods and other assorted stuff that are quite pricey, but people may probably be interested to purchase here if they're "pa-indie feels" and, of course, if they have the extra cash.

Having said all these, Satchmi is definitely a top-of-mind option when I'm in the mood for some R&R over coffee 128522

The interior is inviting and I would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the time constraint as I've went here for our 1-hour team meeting 🤓. Hmm... now I'm uncertain if my review can give justice to the overall experience that this venue offers 🤔. At the very least, I can comment on their Slow Brew (Kenya) which is the only item I ordered. The taste is good but the serving size is small for P140. It was served in a clear glass when I was expecting a more hipster presentation. But overall, their coffee is good and I want to go back and try their food offerings next. 9749️

Cool hangout for music and food lovers !127860127932

Located at 4th floor Mega Fashion Hall SM Megamall. It's a complete experience with coffee and books while jamming to your favorite tunes in the store's Listening room.

Last September 23, after hubby and I had lunch at SM Megamall I decided to stay and wait for him after work so I stayed after lunch here at Satchmi. I was curious what is this place. The place was cozy and very peaceful, perfect spot for me,I can charge my phone, same time ate this amazing dessert, it's a Mango Graham cheesecake by the way. Cost around 150 pesos, they have coffee also but I prefer water as I am still full with my lunch at Ippudo.

They have wifi there and the staffs were accommodating , so if you need a place to stay while waiting for someone , no need to go for other crowded coffee shop, here it's very peaceful and private.

The cheesecake was so good, if you love mangoes you'll like it too127819

While waiting for 7:45PM screening of Train To Busan at Director's Club Cinema. I went to Satchmi located at the 4th Level of Mega Fashion Hall. I thought its just an ordinary music shop that sells disc and music equipment before I enter the place. Music shop with coffee shop inside, a cool concept with good vibes too. I like the indie music background while I sipped my coffee. By the way I got Iced Americano for Php110.00.

Had a meeting here one weekday morning and arrived at around 10:30AM. What I quickly noticed was their appealing interiors. The mix of wood and steel gives it an industrial feel. But surprisingly, it didn't give that unwelcoming feel. For me, it was actually cozy when I sat down.

And since there weren't any other customers, it gave me the chance to take photos of the place.

I ordered a cup of their cappuccino. To be honest, at least for me, all cappuccinos taste almost the same. But theirs was actually okay. It was served warm without me asking for it to be warm.

I also had a nice little chat with one of the baristas before my meeting. Found out that he used to work for my one of my go-to coffee shops in QC, Coffee Empire. And it was also nice to know that Satchmi is opening a new branch in UPTC. And that they will start serving craft beer. Oh yeah!

They also sell vinyl records and players. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to check out the price. Also found out that they have listening rooms that you can use for free.

Overall, it was a great experience, Music wasn't too loud in the cafe so the person that I was talking to and I had a nice and uninterrupted conversation. The only letdown was that they didn't have pastries when I got there. They said they haven't gotten their supply yet.

Looking forward to trying their pastries! :)

Exploring Megamall's fashion mall early in the day in mid July led me to have coffee in Satchmi, which apparently has been there since 2014, the same year Fashion Mall opened. It's my first time here since I hardly go to this area anymore, but what a find! What attracted me to this place was its brick and wood interior... which exuded a classy yet unintimidating presence. Wandering at 11 am meant there wasn't any customer around (there was a lot of staff plus one of its owners too), so I took my time exploring and taking photos of the place to review it. It was simply stunning, probably among the top 5 coffee shop interiors I've ever seen, here and abroad (and 1 of 2 coffee shops with the most magnificent interiors I've seen just this month of July-- the other being Coffee Project along Sgt Esguerra in QC).

Satchmi had recently been expanded (as in it was just a few days old) to include more tables and chairs, plus more room to sell stuff, so I didn't get to see when it was smaller and tighter for people, according to Reich T. Now, it can seat probably about 50 people, so I found it quite roomy and comfortable and, at the time of visit, serene. Of course I settled on the most comfy part of the store, its one soft couch near the counter.

Forgive my ignorance, but exploring the store more made me realize that Satchmi is more of a music store than a coffee shop. It was littered with shelves of vintage vinyl records, which was fairly unique and quite cool, I realized, as coffee shops go. Some albums reached as far back as the 60's up to my growing up years in the 90's so it's got a pretty wide range of album selection. Plus, to fit the vintage, it even sells film and film-based cameras. Not one for vintage stuff, I still found the place pretty impressive, nonetheless. Satchmi has two listening rooms, at a loft behind what looks like a coffee bar, and plenty of tables and chairs, so whether you want alone time, exolore different music genres, have a small business meeting, study or, hell, even go on a date, it's got something for everyone. Check the pics out and see for yourself.

Unfortunately, since I'm a Spotify and mp3 guy, I didn't check the price of the records. Sacrilege to audiophiles, perhaps, but I'm really not this store's core market. I did get to glance at the equipment and found some to be upwards of P10k ($200 and up), and it was nice to find other audio stuff like Marshall earphones & Braven Bluetooth speakers, and a few craft items like notebooks, paint, brushes (though not a lot of variety given the store's size), and maybe coloring stuff (?), plus colorful socks, named Happy Socks, so it's worth a look.

Where Satchmi got its -1 was their coffee. I asked what beans they used but all I got was it was a Satchmi blend. Anyway, I ordered Americano and found theirs to be a watery type of coffee, sadly bland, and tasted like a bad version of the pod based coffee machines. Sorry, at least it was P90 for an Americano. On the side, Satchmi also serves sandwiches, bruschettas, and soup, besides the usual dessert and pastries. Priced at P120 to P290, it's reasonable. So do check this place out for something uncommon in a coffee place so you can chill. Oh and kudos to their selection of music, a blend of 90's alternative and rock.

The store is nice, served nice pastry, vinyl LP and turntable, coffee and implements.

Everything is nice on my first visit.

The following day, I visited again. Kinda in hurry not to be late on the first day of screening of Ghostbusters at IMAX. Since it was on soft opening, it has no POS terminal for credit/ debit card. So I asked them to prepare the sandwich in advanced. They agreed.

There was a long queue to ATM. After 10mins, I got my cash but decided to bring out the sandwich I ordered expecting It was ready. I have waited another five minutes. I was not happy because they have agreed and yet it was prepared.

I think I missed a minute of the movie. That was ok but the service of Satchmi is not OK.

That is the photo of the apple pie I liked on my first visit.

*** they are on soft opening for a long time?

Not your ordinary coffee place.

This place has lots of good stuff in store specifically for music lovers. The store sells vinyl records plus there's a booth where you can listen to these. There are also various items for sale, that you'll initially thought were decorations only... Analog cams, fils, mini notepads, calligraphy sets, and even mini speakers, earphones. Recently, the store has a bigger space.. More seats! Plus now they have menu unlike before its only coffee. They got pastries, sandwiches, bruschetta, soups and drinks. After office, this is the first thing I had in mind. Coffee + me time ( perfect combo)

So here's my happy quick snack:
Bruschetta , Chicken liver mousse with bacon and caramelized onions. P125- it is served in small chopping board with popcorn on the side. I love the chicken liver spread spread all over, crispy bacon on top. Sweet taste of the caramelized onions gives a new dimension of taste of the other salty toppings.

Cold americano- espresso , water, and ice P110- served in a small transparent cup. Well nothing spectacular. Strong coffee blend, much needed for today128076🏼

This place is so cute and so retro! It's a nice place to chill and hangout after dinner. They serve pretty good coffee. My friend ordered their cafe mocha and it was warm and chocolatey! 128077🏼

Satchmi actually sells records and they also have some indoor plants for sale but I think they're from a different shop.

The place is quite small so it's not made for big groups and it's usually full too. Because the ambiance is just too nice!

Have you ever been in a cafe where the decorations are so nice, you want to take it home. Well, Satchmi is the place for you! Everything on display is for sale, from socks to record players.

Another good thing about this cafe? They have wifi. Tho wifi is not that fast but it's bearable. This place is quite small for a cafe. But you know what, that's a good thing especially to people who wants to get work done. This cafe is so small, people get hesitant to dine here. Less people = less noise 128514128079🏻

Their drinks are limited to iced coffees. The only decaf drink they have is iced chocolate and that's what I ordered. It's good naman. The only food they have are cookies.

The price of their drinks ranges from 90 - 140. Not bad for some good stuff!

I guess this is the perfect spot to get work done because the place has a good vibe. They play good music. That time, they were on a Taylor Swift playlist. Their vinyls are sorted according to genre. From oldies to movie soundtracks, name it they have it. They also have a listening room where in you can listen to some of their vinyl.

The staff are very accommodating as well. They have a lot of staff for such a small place that's why they can attend to everyone. 128077🏻128077🏻

There's this coffee place in Fashion Hall that I've been eyeing, its Satchmi. And at last, I had a chance to sit and relax last Saturday while waiting for my friends. Before i thought its only for vinyl records buyers, but its for everyone.Nothing spectacular with the Americano that I ordered. But My eyes enjoyed the ambiance ( nice interiors) and nice music that goes along with the coffee. Ps: limited seats! 128521

Hipster na hipster ang datingan. Nothing special with the coffee. I had Iced Latte which tasted like what it supposed to taste, wala man lang asukal 128514 the place is very instagrammable tho merong happy socks displayed at almost every corner of the shop lol. Also it might be better if they a had a little bit more space since every customer basically wants to sit and chill but there are limited seats.

From outside you'd think this is a hip music store and you wouldn't guess inside would be a coffee shop. After making a | search for coffee places to chat some more, we headed to this place we've all have not tried.

I couldn't order anything. I was still in the middle of finishing my BLK yogurt. Kristin A and Jayson J ordered their joes. According to Kristin, they serve really good coffee. She said when you're a coffee lover, you can taste the difference between a great cup from a store like this and an actually bland cup from Starbucks. I'm not sure if they offer anything else other than coffee as I didn't notice any pastry on display.

Seats were either tall stools or small ottomans. They're really not that comfy to sit on, just enough for you to enjoy your cup and maybe a short conversation. This is also a store that sells vinyl records, turntables, speakers, and socks. I would love to sit & chat with music enthusiasts here, even if we're strangers. There are high tables which I believe is here primarily to be used for demo-ing the turntables. They have a listening room which I forgot to look at but I'll probably visit next time I'm in this mall.

Thank you for inviting me Jayson & Kristin. Twas nice to see Argee E too who celebrated her birthday that day! I hope to meet more people from | who are as welcoming as you all are. You guys are awesome.

What a cool fusion of music store and cafe! I had the latte. This is my first time to try a latte art. The barista told me she wasnt that good but that's all right.

Coffee here is good. Really strong. Good thing i had it with milk.

The place can only accomodate about 10? The place is quite uncomfortable too kasi there are no cushioned seats. They're all wooden. Nice to have a chat with Christina R Kristin A after that very satisfying dinner at DTF.

In hindsight, I was glad there's only one table at BLK and it was occupied when we got our yogurt - if not, we wouldn't have searched for another cafe to hang out and I wouldn't have discovered this magical place.

Satchmi is actually a record store - as in vinyl records and turntables. Vinyl records enjoyed a resurgence in popularity a few years ago, and it makes me feel a twinge of regret for all those broken LPs in record heaven. I certainly didn't expect that records would be popular enough to warrant its own exclusive store in Megamall, but Christina R counting at least three people who bought turntables in the short time we were there put paid to my doubts.

The coffee isn't bad either - it's YKW from EDSA BDG. I had the flat white and the coffee is as flavorful as I would expect from third-wave coffee shops - dare I say, a bit strong as well? Certainly did not feel sleepy after all the food I ingested!

For a coffee shop it's very laid back. It's no Starbucks where you know your coffee will be out in a few minutes, depending on the length of the queue. I think mine came after at least 10 minutes, or it seemed like it. But the best thing about it is the intimate and relaxed atmosphere. Only a few seats, which can be a plus if you want to conserve the atmosphere. Great music, definitely - i discovered a couple new artists ( first time i heard Two Door Cinema Club 128561). This last place contributed a lot to make my day a Happy Taguig Day indeed, spent with really nice people who enjoy food as much as I do.

The vibe and ambiance is great, especially for the vinyl lovers. However, I don't think their coffee and hot choco is good enough for the price. I'd rather have coffee in Starbucks. Milo is better than their hot choco and their slow brew is just okay.

How would you define nostalgia? Can't think of one? Or is your definition a bit inaccurate?

To all those hipster coffee lovers, here's how i defined nostalgia today; "Satchmi", its a vintage record store that serves good coffee, perfect spot for feeling your parent's nostalgic side. This place is definitely not bad for a first date with an old soul. Want to know more? Well, better visit the place yourself :)

It's a store literally, they just added a cafe so the seats are plenty.
I ordered Iced Choco cause I don't drink coffee, but my friend (a barista there) gave me a coffee, I don't know what type cause I didn't drink it. But the Iced Choco was ok, too expensive for that serving, it tastes like the iced milo they are selling in convenient stores.
