When you want some beach front dining experience, this is a place to try. Interior looks good too. But taste is just okay. We ordered the El Nido famous Nest Soup (P450), sizzling squid and Sizzling Crocodile (P300) and shakes. Again the taste is just okay. We haven't tried Nest Soup & Sizzling Crocodile with other resto so I don't know if that's really is its taste or there could be better. But for experience, I recommend u try it. They are healthy too! :)

After a tiring van ride we decided to pass by the church, check out the town and have early dinner by the beach. There are a lot of restos to choose from along the beach but we decided on sea slugs because they are quite highly reviewed.
One tip when you're on an island. Expect island service 128518 meaning the typical sense of urgency is non existent, hehe! Having this in mind we ordered a couple of appetizers first - calamari and breaded cheese and we ordered our mains at the same time. The tanigue steak is quite popular as well as the buttered shrimp (in picture). Both are fresh and delicious btw for around p250/ea. forgettable appetizers that we literally fed them to the dogs (beach dogs are everywhere 128054). Had a really fresh watermelon shake too.

Good food, great music and wonderful view.

Sea slugs is a beachfront restaurant facing the beautiful El Nido Palawan beach. Their seafoods are really good and very cheap.

Grilled fishes and buttered crabs are the must try. Huge servings at a very reasonable price.

While you are eating, a band will entertain you with their reggae music. The vocalist can actually join The Voice, he sings really well.

Sunday's best classics on live on stage, sands on your feet, fresh and generous servings of seafoods for a reasonably cheap price with ice cold beer!
There is also a dog and cat wandering around, LOL!

We had our first night's dinner at El Nido here. It's one of the popular beachfront restos along the El Nido beach. 9728️ The food was good and well-cooked, with generous portions, but nothing outstanding. I got their Porkchop with fries while the bf got their Chicken Cordon Bleu with fries. 128522

What I really enjoyed was the outdoor tables, by the beach, with the fire torches around us. That was quite an experience. 128077

Had breakfast here on our first morning at El Nido. Great view since they are one of the beachfront resto. I just think their breakfast set is pricey considering the taste. Hihi 1285179996️coz i know i could have this meal in carenderias outside for a cheaper price 128517. Also the orange juice they gave me is suuuuuuper sweet, i feel like they put in a whole sachet of orange powder in the glass! Kalokaaaa.

We went here as per recommendation of our hotel staff. We ordered seafood spaghetti and garlic prawns. The seafood spaghetti serving is large enough for two and costs 180PHP. It failed to impress as the only seafood ingredient was squid. The garlic prawns were served with rice and local fruits. This one's good enough for you to eat the rice mixed with the butter from the garlic prawns. The price of their food is reasonable enough for people on a budget. But do not expect much.

A healthy bloody mary ended my day. I just have to remove the green chili for it almost tasted like sinigang 128528

It's nice to hear the waves and see the stars while listening to reggae songs 128513

Perfect spot to chill after a whole day of island hopping. Decent and affordable beachfront resto. Ordered the usual pinoy favorites - sisig, pancit canton, inihaw na pusit, kare kare, sinigang na fish. Service is kinda slow. Pero deadma na 128581. With that kind of view 128070, I'm willing to wait. Pero pwede pauna yung sisig? 128516128516128516

Decent beach front restaurant. Breakfast was the usual silog & continental variants. Meals are good for one, but the pancit was good enough for 2-3 people.

Service was slow & not that pleasant. Kung anong ganda ng tanawin sya naman sama ng mukha ng mga serbidora. Puyat? Pagod? Gutom? Hindi ko alam...

Last meal before we leave El Nido, had brunch here, buttered vegetables with rice and Tocino. Everything was good, but the garlic rice was kind of dry and the watermelon wasn't sweet.

Teary-eyed. Literally. That was how I was after I had a mouthful of Seaslugs' Ginataang Alimango. Not only for having the best tasting crab in coconut milk but because I knew food like this is best shared with family - loved ones.

Sea Slugs :You will definitely go back here... The Place is in front of the Beach... The relaxing surroundings, We had sizzling Chicken (Super Spicy - Super Yummy) so you may want to ask them to lessen the hotness of it - Goes along with Margarita. We also had the Grilled Chicken with French fries (A must try). You may also try their Spicy Fried Chicken.

I had Bistek Tagalog.. And i love it.. I love the sauce - it has a twist that i cant explain...

The Resto does have a live band so you can Jam while you eat.. However, we haven't experienced the bands since, something is wrong with their Speakers... Maybe next time...

And don't forget Hawaiian Pizza... Salami Pizza...

Over all 5 Stars!!!
