We're regulars at Aling Tonya's because their cooking is usually tastier than the others. We tried a new dish - rock lobster 'pitik' Thermidor which was good at first bite but ended up being overpowered by the quick melt cheese. The sinigang na salmon did not disappoint while the adobong pusit was its usually delectable self. Watch out for the tissue holders though - there was a baby cockroach in ours which wasn't exactly an appealing sight.

It was an spur of the moment dinner. Went there rather late and not much available in the wet market.

As usual went to our old and trusted place, aling tonya's. We have been eating with them since I was kid and their only branch was at the old backstabbing market and you had to walk at the end of the wet market to be able to get to their place and I can remember the place was hot and really, really small. People need to bow when you eat on the second floor and cuz ceiling was low place was cramped and you have to eat shoulder to shoulder with each other.

Anyway, can't go wrong with their adobong pusit. Other fare are just as good. But the adobong pusit is really the bomb! And I'm happy that they don't used MSG now. Since I can remember every time we eat there I will be so thirsty during and after the mean because of MSG.

So the dishes were adobong pusit, chili garlic, buttered shrimps, baked mussels and not in the picture is Halaan Ginger soup.

Everything's yummy but messy.

Delectable seafood dishes. This place is perfect for a family gathering. A cheap price with great ambiance which offers the best paluto filipino food.

The perks of going on long trade visits - new food discoveries. Boss was craving for some fresh fish and veggies and Lo and behold, seaside appeared out of nowhere (literally kasi talahib Ang mga katabi niya 128514).

Good points:
✔️ fresh seafood (market is beside it)
✔️ you don't have to go to the market if you're not an expert or you don't want to get your hands dirty - they'll market for you and show you the goods before cooking it
✔️ the hito was to die for
✔️ ample parking

Rooms for improvements:
✖️ the staff of the different paluto Restos scramble over you like flies. Na-stress ako sa part na yun
✖️ they said we can use credit card everywhere (when we sat down, they said except the market. Hassle)
✖️ despite there being not too many customers, we waited so long for our food (they said 10-15minutes... More like 30-45 yo)
✖️ they're more expensive than the other dampa places (pasay or Libis). We were 9 pax but we paid close to php 8000. PAXIEXPLAIN?!

Well, at least boss satisfied his craving. But all in all it's just okay.

Ps: the paluto Resto was shylin
