This hotel is always our company sponsored training's venue.
And so far, I am really liking it.
The place is nice, the food is okay though i find the serving too little and the staffs are accommodating.
Overall I got satisfied with their service.
Looking forward to my next trainings and to the other food meals they can cater. 🙂

Valentine's Day staycation with my love...128150

Seda, translated as silk in Tagalog, is truly a businessman's hotel... Modern interiors with cozy and no frills hotel rooms make it a great hotel to stay in... But it's really the location that you can't beat... Outside of the hotel is immediately BGC High Street... Hello, you can't get any better than that! 128525

Personally, I love their rooms... Sizeable and comfy... I like the window seat that lets you people watch in peace... They have state of the art electronics in the room, including a flatscreen TV and an iPod dock... It has a small but nice bathroom with simple yet complete toiletries. The wifi is very fast, so take advantage and download or stream stuff while you are here!128517 The bed was very, very comfortable... We got assigned to a room with twin beds mistakenly and they were already fully booked, so they ended up pushing the beds together. Not a big deal...

I must agree that the food was just okay. They have a small gym and outdoor pool, which we were not able to use... Service is great and you can't beat that!128515

I am one of those people who has a crazy story to tell about APEC.

I was supposed to fly to Davao for work Tuesday night of the APEC week. My flight was at 8:30pm so I left the office (Ortigas) at around 3pm to hopefully avoid the heavy traffic. After 5 hours on the road, I only reached until Bonifacio Global City and consequently missed my flight. I badly needed to be in Davao the following day but as I called the travel agency, they informed me that all flights to Davao were already fully booked. I didn't want to go home anymore so my boss advised me to just book a room in Seda.

It was already 9pm and the front desk officer told me that single occupancy rooms were no longer available. I had no choice but to book their Deluxe Twin Room. I was given company discount but P6k for just a couple of hours was absolutely expensive.

The bell boy eagerly helped me bring all my luggage to my room. The staff were also very accommodating and they showed concern about the flight that I missed.

The room was very spacious and clean. It was complete with all the toiletries, bathrobes, and THE BEST HOTEL SLIPPERS EVER! I've stayed in numerous hotels because of work and I can say that Seda has one of the best hotel slippers ever. It makes my heart warm and fuzzy. 128514 The bathroom was quite big but I was disappointed with the bath area. It was just plain tiled floor with only the shower curtain as a divider.

The hotel, in general, is fairly new so everything looks extra nice and modern. I think it's perfect for those who are traveling in Manila for work with meetings here and there in BGC. Another advantage is that it's near a lot of restaurants, bars, and clubs. I say it's an advantage because of the accessibility and once you're back in the hotel, you're assured to have the peace and quiet that you need.

I wish I could've stayed longer but I had airport transfer arranged and I was brought to the airport at 2:30am. I only got to enjoy my bed for 3 hours. 128532 But yeah, I was lucky enough to catch a 5am flight and get to Davao safely. 128077🏻

A hotel catered to business people. Modern decor and extremely friendly staff... Gave it an average rating since Ascott hotel in BGC is a step above this hotel.

I always go back to the Rooftop Bar (Seda Straight Up Bar) for their sangria. Best enjoyed with your best friends while looking at the fantastic view of the metro.

Seda, silk in Filipino is a nice little hotel at the fort .. Cozy atmosphere 6k++ per night.. Really good location... Clean modern chic lobby .. Around 180 rooms.. Few basement parking , small pool. Not much food options within the hotel . But there's a lot of restos in the vicinity . Cool roof deck bar too

Rooftop bar = amazing views and that all important cool breeze when you're sitting outside at this time of year. Typical bar service ... Food came when it was ready and not all at once for our party of 5 but hey, the ambience and fab music makes up for it. Drinks are standard, nothing special. The prices would make me think twice about going back. I'll keep it to show visitors from out of town.

We booked a hotel for our friend's bachelorette party, while we partied at the fort strip. ;)

Great big bed that could fit 4 people, we had a living room, a mini kitchen ang a big bathroom. :) The kitchen counter was nice to sit on and chat with my girls. I was even tempted to sleep on the couch, for it was big enough for a little girl like me. :) loved our stay and they were kind enough to extend our stay until 2pm. :) parking was a little hard though but it was free. :)

The results are FINALLY OUT. Exactly 127 days after the Two Serendra blast, DILG Secretary Mar Roxas announced in a press conference yesterday afternoon that the blast was caused by “negligence.”

Why did it take more than 4 months to figure out??

And just like that, Roxas has declared that Two Serendra residents are now allowed to move back into their homes! Well. It’s not that easy, mister. There are still legal battles, renovation, insurance claims...all of that starting only now that the results are "officially" out!!! So the 127 days will still stretch to God knows how long! 128530

Can you imagine being displaced from home for 127 days? Your routine, your habits, your LIFE is jarred by one event, and suddenly you find yourself waking up in a strange bed, looking up at somebody else’s ceiling, and looking out the window at a different view. Hehe. Parang tele-novela lang. But yeah, it happened to me, and although I can’t complain much (after all, we are still luckier than most), it really feels disconcerting to be thrown off your daily rhythm.

That's how I felt when we lived in a hotel for 3 weeks. Sounds fancy, right, why should I complain?

Well, I have nothing to complain about with regards to the hotel itself. We were very fortunate enough to be billeted at Seda Hotel right after the Two Serendra blast. It's located within BGC also, just a stone's throw away from Serendra.

I also can’t complain much about how Alveo treated us in the weeks following the blast. I mean, we were staying in A HOTEL. With free meals, 3 times a day. Arte ko pa kung magreklamo pa ako. I gained 5 freakin' pounds due to all of that free food.

The facilities were great: free internet, cable TV, computer stations at the lobby, and a pool (which we weren't able to use, but still, nice to know it's there hehe).

The room design was very contemporary. Neutral colors with modern black accents. They didn’t have wall-to-wall carpet, which I thought was nice, because it meant less allergies for me!

The service was good: very friendly staff, especially the bellboys (bigyan ng tip!). The staff all knew who we were (eh 3 weeks ba naman nila kami nakikitang pakalat-kalat dun, diba?), and they would strike up a conversation every time they would see us. If it's raining, you can borrow an umbrella from the front desk; if you need a taxi they will wait in the rain for you and bring the taxi to the driveway; they would make-up our room every single day, even if they knew we were "temporary tenants" only. Coming home to a clean, air conditioned room everyday? AWESOME.

The basement parking is really small, though, so there were times when I would have to find parking in the adjacent pay parking lot. The front desk gives parking vouchers, though, so it's still free! Hassle lang to walk so far (50 meters away. Haha! Arte). But yeah, if it's raining, it's a hassle.

We made a choice to leave, after 3 weeks, even if we didn't really have to leave yet. It just felt "unnatural" to be living in a hotel. Convenient, yes, but a bit surreal.

Thank you, Seda, for accommodating us during that long ordeal. We felt like we were invading you somewhat, because of the "special, emergency circumstances," but you still made us feel welcome anyway. 128077

...and after all of that, the Two Serendra case is still unresolved. Wow. Imagine if we were still living in Seda up till now. 128563

Second day of a company planning conference. We were in the same function room and similar to my previous review, everything was top notch.

After yesterday's lunch, I was looking forward to lunch today. On the menu was Chicken ala Pobre. It may not have looked as pretty as yesterday's Rib Eye Steak but this dish was certainly as delicious and tasty. Tender boneless chicken topped with lots of garlic. Very flavorful indeed!

Dessert was Blueberry Cheesecake. Presentation was exactly the same as yesterday. I am not very fond of cheesecakes but their version of it was a hit for me. It had the consistency of mousse and a very light flavor. It wasn't your typical heavy, creamy, thick cheesecake.

Topped this meal with another Capuccino and gave the head waiter 2 thumbs up for a satisfying meal!
