Overall hotel appearance I give it 4-stars110881108811088️.
Room quality - 2-stars only! 128078🏻
But the service - no stars! 128078🏻
Breakfast - 2-stars128078🏻. Long refill time!

The a/c wasnt cold enough despite the lowest setting of 10deg and at coolest mode setting. Called for service at 11pm, they arrived after 30mins. Engineer insisted that it will soon cool, just give it time but we said we've waited for 2 hours already and still nothing. He was arguing with us and trying to convince us to just accept the situation. Told him that we are not getting what we paid for. We asked for an electric fan to supplement, they said they dont have. He said he will "check" their control room. We insisted that the a/c is defective and to just check another room we can transfer to. He also said that the a/c cannot go colder as it is centralized. So I asked then how you have an a/c control? What is it for then? We told him to just adjust their main switch/control then if it was indeed centralized. It took another 30 mins and the front office said they will just transfer us to another room. I said if it's going to be same temperature since the engineer said it's "centralized" then they have to check again otherwise we'll just be wasting our time with the transfer. After 15mins front office called and said engineer confirmed that it's the same temp. Then why are you trying to transfer us??? They offered to give us an electric fan. All of a sudden they have an electric fan! It was really hot we werent able to sleep. We would've transferred hotels but it was already past midnight.

We also asked them to check our mini ref bec it's also not cooling and we're afraid for our food takeout to spoil. Engineer said it wont get cold because it's not a refrigerator but just a "chiller". What????!! I have no words to say anymore. Service sucks. Room quality sucks.

They have a small breakfast area, just past the lobby. We were there 645am and we had to wait to be seated. So small! We were seated after 20mins. Most of the guests are business travellers, they'll be late in their morning appointments if they had to wait a long time before they can have breakfast. 128078🏻 Refilling also takes awhile!

I stayed at Seda Centrio during my stint in Cagayan De Oro last weekend. And I outline the things I love about this hotel:

- The hotel is an hour from Laguindingan Airport.
- Very adjacent to malls such as Centrio Mall, Gaisano and Limketkai Center

- Rooms are not that big, but its very clean. It too has crisp linens.

- Staffs are very friendly, indeed CDO is the city of Golden friendship
- They treat us well, we feel like were princesses
- They call us by our first name :)

And most especially they serve delectable breakfast!

I can't wait to be back at this hotel and discover what it can offer to me more.

Seda Centrio is my number one choice when it comes to staying at a hotel in CDO. Best staff in the whole city! Last year allowed me to stay at this hotel for 3 to 5 days at a time. Each stay was pleasant. The food is awesome (got so much better from the time they soft launched) and the function room support is good enough (improved each time I had re opportunity to hold a conference there).

My favorite soup at Misto (their cafe at the 4th level/reception floor) is the seafood one (can't recall the name at the moment). Everything on the menu is good. The breakfast buffet here is the best as well. Just the right amount of choices (you aren't overwhelmed by them).

Service at this hotel is very good.

Security is great because the elevators need card access for hotel room floors.

To top it all off, it's right next to the mall and accessible to bars and gimmick places if you want to unwind some after a busy day.

Oh, and of course, the rooms are awesome!!!! Bathrooms are lovely (very important to me when traveling for business and for vacations, in general). They have an electronic weighing scale which I like (since I normally stay a few days for business and it's a good way to track if I am overeating at my meetings... Haha).

Best business hotel in CDO for me...

Now at CDO and staying at Centrio....

Was given access to the club lounge wc serves food practically all day long for Free!!!

The room is good and tidy though housekeeping only cleans up after lunch....

Service was good, all service staff are accomodating.

Met the italian/chinese/filipino Manager and was pleasantly helpful.

Food still needs to improve though

What happened????

Had bfast this morning and was surprised to learn that they were serving cold

Called the attention of the clueless F&B mgr and the guy was saying its just caused by the a/c...duh?

Nevertheless,he removed it from the buffet table and told me it came from a 3rd party bakery.

Am not sure why the bfast this morning sucked, maybe because the hotel was being stingy as they accomodated 200pax from Philhealth and having a live-in seminar at the hotel.

Bad bad food :(

After being upset w the previous hotel i stayed in, i opted to transfer to SEDA Centrio.

SEDA is a boutique hotel owned by the Ayala group wc is situated in dowtown cdo and conveniently connected to Ayala's midscale mall.

Check in was a breeze as courteous bellhops assist in upon arrival.

Front desk was very helpful and explained to us the inclusions in our rate as well as the hotel's amenities.

Price for our deluxe room is Php 4,286 for a 28sqm room, bfast for 2, free internet, free laundry 5pcs.

Hotel is just 6months old thus very new and all room accessories are spanking new.

Will check the bfast food tmrw.
