This place is definitely a hidden gem of San Juan City! Segovia's is a house turned restaurant. It is situated within a quiet neighborhood so no need to worry about crowds and lines (perhaps not during school days.)

This place offers delicious food! All praise for the taste of their food and presentation! I can also attest to that. 128521 The prices are reasonable and not rocket high. They offer heart-warming food such as delicious home cooked meals and pastas. Also, don't miss their cakes (They have one of the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted) and famous ensaymadas! They're well-known for that.

Other than their food, this place also instagram worthy! It has home-y interior and don't forget to check out their creative table! (Old Archie comics under the glass.) They also offer a room for a larger group! Perfect for meetings and gatherings.

This place is definitely worth the travel for those coming from far areas.

Went looking for this place but our efforts were wasted. Has this closed down or moved to a different location? 128531

Ang burger nila ang laki at freshly home made ang bun nila.

Lagi kung nadadaanan itong old house na ito na kinomvert na restaurant, naiintriga ako sa mga nababasa ko na they have a best mamon in town so this morning we decided na puntahan cya, hirap ng parking dahil puro sasakyan na sa daan na naka park at maliit ang iskinita.
The place is full of costumer majority ay student from near school, plan to buy custard cake, mamon and ensaymada but unfortunately mamon lang ang available.
first I ignore there mamon I bought look ordinary, one of my hobby is baking, I often bake mamon for my family, tamad pa nga akung tikman cya sa isip ko one of over rated restaurant na naman ito.
Pero mali ako, lesson "Don't judge a book by its cover" pero hindi naman book si mamon lol. Anyway super sarap ng mamon nila, yes mas masarap pa sa mamon ni goldi at ni red ribbon. Siksik ito pero so soft at I can taste the quality butter they used, wahhh looking forward to try there other menu next time.

The best mamon in the metro. Nuff said.

Soft, fluffy, not too sweet, just the right amount of cheese.

I just wish they're open on Sundays :)

Thanks to Cobi, our football boy, for getting us some.

Just awhile ago mom and I had our afternoon snack at Segovia's Cakes and Recipes, a resto-cafe located just a few steps away from our home, they are located in a quaint ancestral house in one of the narrow streets of Little Baguio.

The interior was simple, most of the furniture pieces were made of wood and has a very Filipiniana feel, a perfect concept for a place that serves home cooked meals.

Roast Beef (Php 275)
Fork-tender beef belly seasoned to perfection with mushroom gravy, as a good roast should be.

Pork Tenderloin with Honey & Thyme (Php 165)
one of those cuts of meat that is delicious and tender.

And they serve really good cake too! We tried the ff:
Custard Cake (Php 65)
composed of a similar chiffon base as the mamon then topped with a decadent layer of leche flan and drizzled with caramel

and Chocolate Cake (Php 65)
overflowing with pure chocolate taste. Made with melt-in-your-mouth chocolate from the outside to the inside.

Nothing beats having a great food spot just a few steps away! If only they have free Wi-Fi then I would totally look forward to hanging out there more often.

Best. Mamon. Ever. 128077128077128077

Their ensaymadas are also a good substitute or alternative to Mary Grace.:)

The other dishes they serve are pretty good as well. The sandwiches, the egg and chicken sandwiches in particular, are not only delightfully tasty but they are very affordable too.:)

And if you like your Dinuguan a bit sour and full of meat, then you will enjoy Segovia.:)

Since it's very near from where I work, my co-teachers and I frequent this small house-turned-restaurant. The place is very cozy and relaxing. The space is limited though, as it can only accommodate around 20 dine-in customers.

On one of our visits, I got their Pasta Carbonara (P85) while the others ordered Tuna Casserole (P85) and Tuna Melt Sandwich. Their carbonara is good. It had the perfect noodles-sauce ratio. It wasn't like other cream-based dishes that would leave you feeling overly stuffed and guilty. I also love how it had enough bacon bits and mushroom. For dessert, I ordered their Melt In Your Mouth Mamon and it was definitely the best way to end my meal! For only 35 pesos, you get a milky and cheesy mamon that lives up to its name of melting in your mouth.

If you're around the area, go ahead and try their good and very affordable food. I deducted one star though 'cos service can still be improved. Servers can be more attentive and friendly, I think. But aside from that, there's nothing you should worry about.
