My mom has been buying take out soup here with noodles and she kept bugging me about trying it here with my girlfriend and she kept telling me it's really cheap for its price with a big portion. One time me and my girlfriend decided to try it and we checked the place out, it looked simple cozy and spacious.. Nice couches and we ordered the soup with noodles and had a side of dimsum.
To my palette and liking, I don't prefer food like this and soups but my girlfriend did and so I tried it, it was pretty good but not that good
What was more shocking was the price, for around P130 you get a big bowl of soup and noodles with it, I'tll basically fill your tummy.
This was perfect for a rainy or cold day, the dimsum was good and I liked it very much I have to say this place is really affordable with decent quality. You'd get more than what you pay for. But for someone like me, I'm not too keen with soups, noodles and all that, I wouldn't actually mind coming back here if I crave for a soup but this place is pretty good. If it's cold and annoying, grab a bowl of soup with a friend here.

I decided to make the most out of my weekend by spending time at Parañaque.  My oldest and closest friend resides there.

Oddly enough,  i am not daunted by the fact that i have to travel to Parañaque.  The commute is quick, Makati to Parañaque in less than 15 minutes.  Pretty quick huh?  I came prepared,  i have a lists of restaurants I want to visit.

Here's the fun part,  i didn't realize that Aguirre is the exact opposite of Kapitolyo and Lilac.  Knowledge in geography is required.  We spent x number of minutes looking for the ice cream joint.  I threw in the white towel and made an executive decision to dine at Sen Lek instead.

I am a fan of Thai food.  Pad Thai is one of my favorite stir fry noodle dishes.  And i haven't dined at Krung Thai in a while.  I haven't checked looloosphere for reviews, i hope my gamble pays off.

Sen Lek's interiors screams Thai.  From the wall decor down to the wait staff's clothing.  Upon entry, we were greeted with a funny smell,  cant place my finger on it.  Maybe because the AC is turned off?

Menu is presented.  Laminated with pictures and corresponding prices.  The drinks menu is kinda sticky,  not sure if they wiped it clean before handing it over to us.

Pad Thai with Shrimp.   I like that they serve this with a slice of lime on the side.  They are staying true to the cuisine.  Serving is small,  good for one person.  For someone who is partial to Krung Thai,  id say that Sen Lek delivered.  The dish is seasoned well.  The only comment i have is that there is not enough shrimp.

Chicken Satay.  The meat is season well,  you can tell that they marinated this for x number of hours using lemon grass and other spices.  Condiments not required as the meat is oozing with flavour.

I would've ordered some of the curry dishes if not for the toasted siopao i ate an hour earlier.  Overall,  i am happy with Sen Lek.   This is another Thai resto that delivers good food for a reasonable price.

Loved it here! I ordered the Chicken Pandan which was delicious. Their Lemongrass Juice was yummy. It's usually served iced, but I requested for it to be served hot. Lovely! For dessert we got the Mango Sticky Rice. It hit the spot! Not so sweet but hits the spot after a meal. Prices are reasonable. Service is efficient and friendly.

No wonder we always see a lot of people eating here when we pass by this place because they serve good and affordable thai food, just around P100 per dish!

I went with their Pad Thai with chicken as suggested by most of the looloo users in their review and it didn't disappoint. I'm not a thai food person but I liked this one. I just love it's sweet and nutty flavor.

I also tried their wanton noodle soup and it was delicious. The herbs and spices really made the soup special. I can taste a hint of taragon or something close to that. Every sip of the soup somehow gives a relaxing sensation.

I'm definitely going back to this place!

Their Pad Thai is so good!!! Cheap too, only P100. Two can share if you're ordering something else but you can finish it yourself if you're a Pad Thai person like me. Other food items are so-so but you'll definitely love their Pad Thai.

Our first time here. Comfy couch seats and a bright, clean ambiance give customers a more relaxed feeling. Like in most Thai restaurants, I usually get Pad Thai. For this visit, I chose Pad Thai with Chicken (@P130) just to see how Sen Lek Thai presented their version. Espie however got their Rad Na (@P130).

Was expecting a little spice in my Pad Thai, though, but wasn't disappointed as it was quite good. Chicken breast fillet chunks are put as toppings with a generous dash of beansprout and roasted garlic bits.

The Rad Na was good and tasty, as you would expect this Thai dish to be although its a bit on the salty side. Like the Pad Thai, serving is not too big and is sized modestly -not recommended though for empty, hungry tummies.

Espie got their lemongrass drink (P40) while I ordered their Thai milk tea (P50). Both drinks are clear winners. I do love their lemongrass for its relaxing effect.

Sen Lek Thai just shows that good Thai food need not be pricey.

Finally decided to try again this resto since we are near the vicinity.

I ordered their Pad Thai. 128523 the serving is little but big on flavor! My craving was totally satisfied. I still hope they can offer a bigger serving next time. 128539

We also ordered their green chicken curry and spring rolls. The curry was not that spicy 128077and the spring rolls has that freshness since its not fried. It comes also with oyster sauce for that thai flavor. 128540

Eating here makes me want to try Som's near Rockwell.

PS: Never try their lemongrass iced tea. It never compliments any dish in the menu.

Thai food at an affordable price! 128076

I usually have chicken pad thai and their awesome awesome green papaya salad 128523 Their serving is just right. But if I was really hungry, it won't be enough haha.

The servers are really friendly. Always smiling. Which is a plus point :)

Quick fix Thai cuisine? I run to Sen Lek. Sure there are a lot of Sen Lek branches out there but there could only be one for me - Sen Lek at President's Ave. It's the total package! More than decent restaurant, well air conditioned, printed menu, friendly staff, clean bathroom and affordable food! But yes you get what you pay for with the quantity of each serving.

My favorite here is there Pad Thai with Chicken. Just the right amount if I'm not too hungry but definitely too little if I am 128513 It's good, honestly. Perfectly cooked noodle, scrambled egg, tofu, bean sprouts, peanuts, spring onions which were perfectly tied all together by the salty sweet sauce and a little kick of lime. 128537

Since I was a hungry hippo, I added Thai Bagoong into my order. This was not OKAY 128563 it wasn't spicy as it's expected to be. The meat was a little hard but then the thick bagoong infused sauce went well with the mango strips.

Then the Chicken Satay for hubby - came to our table too cold 128552 Not sure if it was supposed to be that way. But you know it was tasty and the peanut sauce was really good.

Since I'm trying to shy away from usuals as much as I can, I did not opt for the favorite Thai Iced Tea. I went for their Lemon Grass Tea 128518 It was served in a clear glass with a beautiful light yellow color with the drama of lemon grass leaves. It was refreshing but tasted like air freshener - not that I've tasted one but yah know 128557128514128517

Got my Thai fix though and I'll take note to stay away from Lemon Grass juice next time 128567

I usually only have beef thai noodle soup here. But since you can now order from your table, I was able to browse through their menu. It was the best decision to get the Panaeng beef curry. Every bite was an explosion of sweet, spicy and creamy curry. The best curry I've had so far. And it was a surprise to find it in this small village restaurant.

Whenever I feel the need for some hot soup, I go to this place for their Beef Thai. Very cheap at 90bucks. I usually request for extra cilantro and put a dash of their chili powder and slurp away. Their thai iced tea is also good. A healthy, refreshing and fulfilling meal without the guilt.

What we ordered:
- Meatball Thai (PhP 80)
- Beef Thai (PhP 90)
- Siomai (PhP 40)
- Meatballs (PhP 40)
- Thai Fried Chicken (PhP 120)
- Mango Sticky Rice (PhP 90)

Meatball Thai & Beef Thai
Their broth is so flavorful that I'd be fine just drinking their broth. So. Good. I've loved the taste of their meatballs since I first ate here about a year ago. I also love the fact that they put so much bean sprouts and herbs in the soup. Add a teaspoon of their chili flakes and it's heaven.

Siomai
According to my mom, it was hard and tasted like it had a lot of flour. So she hated it.128516

Meatballs
Uh-may-ziiiiing. So damn good.128076128076128076

Thai Fried Chicken
I loves that it was boneless! The skin was so crispy and the meat was so tasty (unlike BonChon). It had the right balance between tangy and sweet. Oh man this was so good. A bit overpriced though just because the portions weren't that big and it didn't come with rice.

Mango Sticky Rice
So I haven't tasted the real thing yet, but my boyfriend said that this comes pretty close. The sweetness of the mango went really well with the sticky rice. I also loved the consistency of the sticky rice because it wasn't as packed as suman, but not as diluted as lugaw. It was just the right consistency.128077

Service: The woman at the register and the servers were very friendly and accommodating. The food was served quickly which was a good thing because we were starving.128586
Value for money: Super worth it!128077128077128077

This place is surprisingly good. It's a no frills establishment with great food and good service. To add, it's very affordable. Firstly, the ice tea is authentic thai. Tastes like what you buy in thailand. We ordered pad thai which is perfect and the serving is more than enough for two people. We also ordered the fried spring rolls which is also flavorful. Lastly, we ordered some thai froed chicken which was the surprising part. It's saucy but crunchy. We went there without any expectations as we haven't heard of the place from anyone we know and it's now our favorite thai restaurant. Food tastes really good and the price is cheaper than other thai restaurants.

After an exhausting morning w/o having breakfast, I opted to eat in Sen Lek because it's near the setting of a business appointment.

I'm an aficionado for Oriental cuisines. Other than Filipino fares, my favorites are Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese.

The branch is a "Pay as you order" kind. I requested for Pandan Chicken with Thai Bagoong Rice and Thai Iced Tea. For then, the lady behind the counter was shaking trying to figure out the prices of my orders while she was computing for the total bill. Well obviously, she's new. Hehe! I was suppose to tell her not to worry because I'm not an irate customer but I just loved watching her cram! Haha. I'm a good guy! So, I pointed at the huge menu behind her, "ate kopyahin niyo po yun, chill lang tayo" 128526

The place is quiet and well cooled. Each table is provided with three seasonings to oomph your meals: Chili Powder, Thai Vinaigrette and Nam Pla or Thai Soy Sauce.

My orders reached the table in five. I was a little disappointed with the serving though. Seems like I ordered Pandan Chicken Nuggets. Although it tasted good especially with some Nam Pla, I wasn't fully satisfied. Bitin! On the other hand, I was swept off feet by their Thai Iced Tea. It tasted like Milk Tea and was admiringly good.

I was craving for ramen one hot night so we cruised around BF to find me a good ramen place. Unfortunately, it was late at night so most of the establishments were already closed... And then I saw Sen Lek Thai Noodles. I thought, "what the hey, I'll have me a hot tom yum soup!"

When we entered, the store was a few minutes from closing but the cashier-slash-receptionist welcomed us warmly. 128077

The place was small, just about 10 or less tables and booths. But it didn't look cramped because of the floor to ceiling glass window fronting President's Ave. The place was well-lit and tidy. It looked like a decent restaurant, except, it was self-service. I had to go to the small counter and place my order and pay.

I had Mix Thai Noodles (They didn't have Tom Yum), thai fresh spring rolls, and Thai milk tea. I paid everything for less than 500 and my food arrived in time.

I didn't know what to expect with the food coz it looked like it wasn't really authentic thai. But when I sipped the broth, I immediately liked it. The mix thai was good, the meat was tender and it was flavourful. The balls were very tasty and no fishy smell. It wasn't "excellently" good but for the price, it was surprising. The spring rolls were great as well, not the usual dry fresh spring rolls (i know, ironic right?) i usually had before. This one was a little bit close to the fresh spring rolls i had in Vietnam. And the milk tea? Oh, i loved it! Even if there was milk, i could still taste the bitterness yet refreshing taste of the tea, it tasted brewed. 128077

For the price and the taste, I was pretty much pleased and although this won't be in my most-craved list, I'd definitely come here anytime there's a chance.

And oh, they have their own ample parking space (and that's rare in BF)128077
