Onto my Aguirre foodtrip, I checked looloo for a milk tea place nearby. Sencha is one of the top list so I went there. (There are lots of milk tea place in Aguirre, nakakalito, andame and seemed all is a must try!)

Anyway, I ordered the Signature Sencha MilkTea with pearls, 50% sugar and less ice.

First sip and the bitterness of the tea hits me! Haha! I usually order my tea 25-50% sugar levels kasi I don't want over sa tamis na milk tea. But this one's different, even at 50% it is too tea-ish! Hahaha! Had a hard time finishing it. Hehe.

The place is clean and good for a chill out with friends. They also have a guest book and a message/expression wall full of colorful sticky notes128521

What: Tea place
Ordered: Sapphire Snow
Price: Affordable

Sencha's a quaint place with comfy seats, adequate lighting and fast wifi (I'm writing this review while I'm here :p). But all the amenities go out the window if the food/drinks suck. Fortunately, my order today doesn't.

I ordered the sapphire snow, which is a fancy term for blueberry shake. I decided to go raw and add no sinkers and I'm pretty happy with my decision. It's sweet, and it's blended thick like those shakes that give you brain freeze. Now you might be wondering, why order fruit shake at a tea place? Well, coz this sapphire snow is pretty damn delicious, that's why.

I was kinda put off by the milk tea selection predominantly having chocolate in nearly all their variants, but that's just me. Who knows, you could be those type of people who like chocolate. Hehe :p

Price is really affordable too. Much cheaper than other shops like serenitea, Moonleaf, etc.

Overall, definitely a place to revisit. Not planning to order any of the chocolate-y milk teas any time soon but maybe you could and tell me how that goes. But I'm pretty happy with this blueberry shake. I'll probably try another variant next time I go here (like strawberry or something :p)

Another one of the dozens of milk tea places you can find, well, everywhere.

Tried it for the first time yesterday and went again tonight to satisfy my craving.

First I tried the Signature milk tea. Pretty good for your basic milk tea. If you want a sweeter option, try the Italian vanilla milk tea. I really like their chewy pearls. They're a little bit bigger than the usual pearls, so expect to get some stuck at the end of your straw from time to time.

They have a variety of sizes, but it's a little weird that their sizes are named medium-large-xl as opposed to the usual small-medium-large. The XL is actually large in other milk tea places. 128517

It's a good place to hang out. A little girly with the pink and green color scheme, but that doesn't really matter much now, does it? Haha. What matters is that they have comfy chairs, a smoking area, sockets for you to plug your gadgets, and fast wifi. All the essentials for a work/study tambayan. They have those buzzer things that tell you when your order's ready for pick up, and I always find that fancy 128539

When milk teas started to boom in Davao, SenCha was the first place that I've tasted this yummy drink. It tastes good and it's really affordable too.
