Good music and buy one, get one free cocktails for 125 pesos. It does not get any better than that.

I was having second thoughts on making a review on this bar resto because of selfish reasons. Imagine yourself discovering an unpretentious bar with good food, cheap beer, and friendly staff, plus it's tucked in the city and it's the perfect place to chill without the loud music and loud people. That's what I think of this place. We fell in love with this bar because it's quiet, it's quaint, it's a place where you just want to drink and take note: walang jej. It's a perfect bar where you take your barkada and catch up. For me, it's FRIENDS' Central Perk, it's How I Met Your Mother's McLaren's.

That's the reason I didn't wanna review this place. I don't want it discovered by anyone because IT'S OURS. But for the fear of it closing down because of lack of customers, I decided na na sige na nga.

The place itself doesn't have the swankiness of Niner Ichi Nana, but it's far more decent naman than your Inuman sa kanto. The place is cute. We also like the restroom coz it always smells nice. Plus the service is pretty fine too. Badtrip Lang minsan when they have an acoustic band playing. We go at their outdoor dining area whenever a band plays.

On with the food.

My barkada and girlfriend love their Carbonara. We never expected it to be so good! The first time we went here we thought the food was mediocre because mura nga eh, but the carbonara blew our mind. It's pretty simple actually: bacon, mushroom, cheese, cream, and a dash of paprika on top. But it's soooo yummy.

We have also tried a lot of their food - sizzling seafood, sizzling squid, garlic mushrooms, seafood pasta, etc., and they're all worth trying! But the winner of them all is their nachos. Dude, panalo. They serve it differently. Instead of nacho chips just sprinkled with cheese, beef, tomatoes and what have you's on top, what they do is they spread out the chips, then the cheese, beef, tomatoes, etc are formed into spheres and placed in each nacho chip! Minsan it's 2 nachos in 1 sphere but we have never experienced running out of toppings like what often happens when eating a regular serving of nachos. It's perfect. We wanted to give a slow clap on whoever though of this idea. And of course it's very delicious too!

My friends might scold me for doing a review of our secret place, but it deserves recognition. Saka ayoko syang magsara, no. Basta usapan akin ang Sabado!

Oh btw, they got unlimited Margaritas on weekdays 128540

The place serves the best chicharon bulalak, hands down. It goes so well with beer that I have to stop myself from eating the damn stuff when I drink there.

Speaking of beer, the beer here is cheap, and the food is very reasonably priced. Their shrimp and cheese cocktail, onion rings, and other pica pica food is more than decent.

Parking, unlike in other places in the area, is not that big a hassle because you have several options for safe parking; all by the street, but very easy to park.

Place is no frills; simple furniture, and sometimes there's an acoustic band playing (and most times they're quite good).

For those who drink A LOT, this is the place for you because the bill at the end of the drinking session will not kill you.

Can't say the same for the chicharon, though. ;)
