Service was so slow, inattentive staff, poor food preparation (wilted greens). Never eating here again :-/

I was craving for Hainanese chicken and decided to try out Sentosa. It was disappointing, it was just a shadow of Hainanese chicken. Service was good though.

Thank you voucher!

When you see SENTOSA sa mga deal site, buy it! Money's Worth in terms of price/size per order.

I paid P550 for the Groupon : Orders 1-4!!! Sulit 128076

1) Pad Thai Noodles P285 - Group Sharing (4-5), scrambled egg was big enough to cover the noodles, not the original pad thai I remembered but taste wise it was good naman.

2) Nasi Goreng Rice P250 - Group Sharing (4-5) Pang gera sa dami. Never pako nakakain ng authentic Nasi Goreng. But from previous orders sa mga resto I started to like it. Iteterno ko sana to sa Beef Rendang kaso not available so next choice TomYum. Take out yung half.

3) Tom Yum Goong P295 - Group Sharing (4-5), big prawns 3-4 ata. Mild Spicy.

4) Fresh Spring Roll P200 - Sabe ng friend ko parang california maki, ako medyo fruity ;) pang tanggal umay sa other orders. kapag nag compare ako sa size nung first 3, naliliitan ako sa 6pcs for the price.

Additional Order (choice of chicken cashew and this since na try ko na chicken cashew sa bangkok sabi ko try ko naman itong 7spice beef - ayun nagsisi ako hehehehe!

5) Sentosa 7Spice Beef P325 - tender beef but it tasted like arabo. You know what I mean hahahaha! Ok nmn kaso nakakaumay. Least Favo!

Service charge P72.59

Groupon value P1,000

AMOUNT DUE: P1,427.59

Service was good, unti lang sila mag bigay ng tissue kapag nag request hihi. They refill glasses kapag half full. No WIFI.

Sizzling beef was ok, cereal prawns not fresh, hainanese chicken overcooked, fried prawn balls (where's the prawn), worst of all the table almost fell off and service was poor (waiters not attentive) not to mention too much mosquitoes. Straw was too short for the glass (see photo). It's a good thing I got the groupon deal otherwise it's not worth it.

Other than Banan Leaf, this is another place I love for Beef Rendang. The beef was tender and the coconut spice mixture was just delicious. Humahagod.

I also tried their Green Curry Chicken. Though it tasted good, i think it was too oily and the serving size was kinda cute. Kid-friendly.

The servers are very nice though and they move fast. Food was served in 10 minutes.

I can't think of any other places to try and decided to just eat at Sentosa, Shangrila branch.

Most servers that time were wearing plain white shirts so I'm guessing that they're new. This helped too so I won't set too much expectations on their service. But hey, new or not, they were able to deliver.128077

TOM YUM GOONG (P275)
I love the broth they used! It was rich and delicious! I also like that they kept the authentic way of serving this dish, hot and sour. The shrimp in it were also good and well cooked.

BEEF RENDANG (P330)
One of the best rendang. The coconut milk was apparent but not overwhelming and I like that it was rich in terms of spicey-ness. The meat was also tender.

NONYA FRIED RICE
I can eat this without the the rendang and tom yum. So good!

Decided to read @looloo reviews re SENTOSA Singaporean Restaurant before buying a food voucher at Metrodeal. I ordered the food that was recommended by the reviewers.

1) Roti Canai plain w/ curry - served hot, thick texture, not too oily, loved it!
2) Pad Thai w/ shrimps - noodles was ok, taste was good, shrimps delish!, it was good for sharing for 3, egg didn't overpower the meal, liked it!
3) Nasi Goreng - loved it! satay just ok, didnt bother the side dishes I was already full hehe! 128516

Loved the food presentation!

How I wish I bought 2 more vouchers cuz food deal was worth it!

They have lovely & accomodating staffs.

Fast service, no store wifi, clean & nice ambiance, it's like Banana Leaf restaurant with difference Asian Cuisines to choose from!

Recommended!

Roti canai is good here. It's warm, not burnt and the curry is just right, although i prefer not to have curry with it. This is all i wanted to have actually.

We also ordered the vegetarian spring roll which was ok, but not refreshing enough. I still like pho hoa's better.

Last Christmas, we decided to have a movie at Edsa Shangri-La and we found this Singaporean themed restaurant.

Their food was good, authentic singaporean taste for the chap chae but we haven't tried the rest so I cannot recommend anything else. The quality of the food as well as its price was okay with me.

Overall I find my dining experience here okay and this is better than Changi restaurant in Malate.

Laksa was just ok, ordered it to be mild spicy but still too spicy for me. Good thing I ordered roti w/ condensed milk on the side to fight that spicy taste.

Ditched my work today to have a lunch out with one of my singapore buddies!128514128077

The original plan was to hangout in a coffee shop but after seeing this restaurant we have decided to have a hearty meal.

We ordered for half steamed chicken and laksa.

So far this is the best laksa that I've tried here in manila. The soup has a thick texture and coconut creamy goodness, you wouldn't think of it as an instant laksa soup. A lot of shrimp, tofu and egg is included.

Chicken was also good even without the sauce, you know that it was freshly made because it's not dry and chewy when you eat it.

They have good servers as well!

Was out on a date with mom before her meeting. Since it's my mom's first time to dine in Sentosa I had her pick what she wanted to order.

She ordered Sizzling Beef Tenderloin in Honey Pepper Sauce, P295 and I suggested she should try the Sentosa Fried Rice, P250. Food's are good for sharing. The food is really tasty!
For our smoothie we ordered Thai Iced Tea (mom's), P90 and Watermelon Fruitshake, P95.
For dessert, my favorite, Sticky Rice Mango128561

Had lunch with my parents today. They game me a chance to choose where to eat...

We ordered seafood laksa, prawn & chicken hot salad, black pepper prawns, seafood roll, and salted fish fried rice.

My folks liked the flavors of the food. I found it okay... The laksa lacked the coconut milk flavor and a bit of heat. The seafood roll was a bit gummy like ordinary kikyam. I liked the fried rice and the black pepper prawns and the singaporean iced tea. Interiors and lamps look nice too.
