Aside from being way too expensive, I didn't taste any special on their food even on their so-called "specialty".

Sinigang na Corned Beef - this is their SPECIALTY. really?! for Php 595, a lil bowl of some veggies with chunks of corned beef. The soup was too salty. Taste was just ok, but price? 128078128078128078

Kare Kare - nothing special. 128078

Fried Fish - not sure of the name. But price was around 200-300 .. my goodness! I can even cook this at home! 128514

Stir Fried Kangkong - Php 120, I can cook this for less than Php 30.. hahaha! 128078 Chowking's kangkong is even better!

Service was good tho. 128518128077

Great thing, 20% discount for Visa card holders. debit or credit.

Never coming back. 128517

Friday lunch out at Sentro!!

A couple of my officemates have been raving about their sinigang here. And it was well hyped! 128077🏼 When you order their sinigang, before they serve the whole pot to the table, a server will come with a small teacup with the broth for you to taste. If it's sour enough or you'd want added intensity.

However, I think the consistency of the soup refill isn't that great because our second batch of soup wasn't as sour as the first nor the 3rd batch. 128532 But if you want great quality sinigang, Sentro is a good spot to try! 128077🏼

I liked their lengua as well, but they serve it in huge chunks. It's not the sliced lengua variety. The mushrooms had a bit of burnt flavor but it wasn't overwhelmingly burnt.

Their crispy pata was spot on!! 128076🏼 Crunchy skin and tender meat.

However, I would advise against ordering the pancit malabon/palabok. It was bland and badly needed patis. 128528 (no photo because it was at the other end of the table and it was immediately devoured by those at the end of the table128514)

Food in Sentro is expensive. The bestseller, corned beef sinigang is priced at P595. This is rather uncommon, so I got wee bit excited to try it. Nothing spectacular though. We also got the deadly boneless crispy trotter for P620, and the equally sinful lechon kawali for P390. They gave us free Rated GG because that was our first visit. So, will I come back? Well, if someone else will pay the bill, probably yes! 128514

The food was generally ok although some dishes were too salty. The Kare-Kare didn't have enough meat. The major turn off was when a small cockroach appeared on the table. It was really disgusting. What a let down.

For a Friday Lent, this was an indulgence. I missed Sentro and I got crave-y. My colleague agreed to eat so we found ourselves with a good spread.

We couldn't not order the:

Fresh Smoked Fish Spring Rolls - these are eight mini fresh spring rolls/lumpia that are served in such a way that it looks like a sungka. I'm not sure if that was deliberate. In the roll is smoked tinapang bangus that is heavy on the flavor, salted egg that helps remove the langsa, onions and tomatoes, garnished with a small strip of spring onion. I could have these babies all to myself, but no, I was forced to share! *pout*.

Stir fried Ampalaya and Malunggay - because my colleague remembered that it was not bitter the last time he ate here and that he loved it so much that he's willing to eat veggies. I agreed to it because I would be limited with options.

and I thought wrong when I ordered the Seafood Bagoong Rice, this is because it is one hefty plate of tasty bagoong rice topped with squid, fish and shrimp. It also contained an ample serving of the catfish flakes. This was just swelling with flavor. Bursting!

and my least favorite dish for the day but not really behind on flavor, the Catfish Adobo Flakes, had we read thoroughly the menu, we would have cancelled this order because it was already in the Seafood Bagoong rice. It was good but we had a hard time finishing it due to the fact that it gave the same texture in the rice.

My colleague needed to have meat so he ordered the Sugar free Humba. He said it was good but I didn't bother tasting it. He wasn't able to finish it so he ended up taking that home.

Since we were doing ourselves a solid with all the mains, we decided to finish up with dessert and got the Coffee Pie. It looks better than it tastes but if you let it sit and take it with your brewed coffee, it gets better. Coffee takes a while to brew so you might want to order that in the middle of your meal if you are an efficient eater.

Service is excellent. I like that waiters are attentive. I noticed that this place gets full with fil-ams or balikbayans.

Man, was this a feast! I would love to go back. See, now I do want to go back for the bangus spring rolls. Mmmmmmhmm.

I have always liked this restaurant. But now, service is so slow, and there are mosquitoes. And it's just lunch time. 30 minutes of waiting time is just too much!

Invited my dad and sister for dinner last Sunday night. Choices I had were Nihonbashitei, Kimpura, Kitchitora, and Sentro 1771. Obviously we ended up in Sentro.. Booked in advance via text and we got some discounts, thanks to the other food app. wink wink. 128521128521 HAHA! love | still! 128518

I loved it when they called me by name the moment I entered and mentioned I had a reservation and then when we left after dinner. That "Thank you Sir Roy, come again po!"... a big plus points on how personal their service is! 128079🏻128079🏻

Interiors were of the modern Filipino type. Hanging wooden lights, I really appreciated. The restau gave me that comfy and homey feel. Not too wide the space but just enough to accommodate the Sunday dinner crowd. They also have an al fresco area with the big couches and the candle-lit tables.

As for the food... The Sinigang na Corned Beef, Grilled Liempo, and the spring rolls were definitely the stars of the night! Glad I chose the right dishes. 128527128527

SINIGANG NA CORNED BEEF - 411088️ 595php
This one was good! I'm not a fan of sinigang because of the sour taste so I won't say I'll really crave for it... BUT it's good! First time to try our all time favorite corned beef made into a soup with tamarind broth and veggies - sitaw, etc etc. A thumbs up for letting us taste the soup first for them to adjust if we found it too sour or tell them our feedback so they do something about it.

FRESH SMOKED FISH SPRING ROLLS - 511088️ 260php
We had this for appetizer and I loved it! Tinapa bangus with salted egg, tomato, onions, with their suka as dip. Simple dish yet so yummy!!! Worth the price. I think there were 8 pieces. Nicely presented also. 128077🏻128077🏻

INIHAW NA BABOY - 511088️ 270php
So goooood! Your usual grilled pork belly or liempo that was cooked so nice, it was tender and very yummy!!! I can 'papak' this even without rice. 128514

BEEF RIBS BINAGOONGAN - 3.511088️ 390php
I'm sticking to pork with my binagoongan. They cooked the beef short ribs to the proper tenderness I think? It was chewy enough but I prefer fall off the bone type better. More time in the pressure cooker next time? Haha. It is definite that this eaten with rice! Quite salty because of the bagoong!

Service was good! I appreciated how they texted me a day after asking for my feedback! And again, the text was addressed to me. Very personal.. Love how much they value customer feedbacks!

I must say Sentro is one of the good Fil restos but i think it belongs to the more higher end in terms of its prices. If you're into more variety and twists, Manam and Mesa, are my favorites. If you have spare money to spend in good food, go visit Sentro or Abe. 128077🏻 That's my opinion. Hope this helps! 128517

Had a meetup with a friend for a future project last weekend. It was raining and we first thought of having ramen which I thought was perfect for the weather, but he suggested Sentro so we could try their critically-acclaimed Sinigang na Corned Beef.

The place is cozy and perfect for casual dining. We like the native theme and the ambiance of the restaurant. We got Stir-fried chicken & tofu and Sinigang na corned beef with organic garlic rice.

Stir-fried Chicken & Tofu (Php290) - Savory diced chicken mixed with marinated tofu, spring onions and then drenched with oyster sauce. The ripe mangoes gave an exciting twist to the dish which makes it really interesting!

Sinigang na Corned Beef (Php595) - Sentro's variation of sinigang is kind of unique because they used corned beef short plate which was tender, instead of the usual meat like pork or even beef. It's still your usual sinigang, imo. I actually thought they would use small chunks of boneless beef shanks, but that's just me! We were also asked first about the taste of the broth if we'd like it a bit more sour or not, which I think is a plus factor.

We really enjoyed our food so much and I recommended this place for those who wanted to try something special. The dishes we tried are usually good for 2-3 persons and definitely worth the price.

Its been ages since i last ate here! I was looking forward going back to eat their famous Sinigang na Corned Beef. Unfortunately it was underwhelming for some reason. However we ordered other items that compensated for the high expectations that we had for the sinigang.

In the photo is one order you shouldn't miss!
Seafood Bagoong Rice deserves 128079128079128079128079 (4 claps) it can stand on its own because of the generous seafood on it!

Other orders:
Catfish - 128079128079 (just okay)
Macau Chorizo and Cheese Tidbits - 128079128079128079 (must order appetizer)
Garlic Mushroom - 128079128079128079 (just bec of the generous chicharon that comes with it)
Fried Kesong Puti - 128079128079
Beef Tapa - 128079128079 (okay not to get)

Overall Sentro will still be a reliable choice for Filipino cuisine. 128077127860128512

Sentro is one of the Filipino cuisines in Greenbelt 3 and what I liked about this place is their own version of food. Everything is of course a filipino dish but with a little bit twist of it. Like their lenggua, they serve it with a different type of sauce compared to the normal white sauce of lenggua.. Their galunggong or gg was served in slice and their other fish dishes are serve in a very unique style.

You must try their chorizo and this coffee pie ( the one on this photo).

Suggestion: I suggest that they should have a bigger place. The resto is not that small but it looks over crowded because of the number of tables which occupies a lot of space in the resto.

For this visit, we wanted to try food we haven't ordered from this place. We had the seafood rice and paired it with grilled liempo. It was good. Seafood rice can pass as a meal on its own. The only thing I don't like is its kinda expensive. Priced at 500+ per order and its only good for 1 (regular rice eater). We actually had to order another plain rice so we can finish the liempo. 128055
