If you're looking for a legitimate Korean restaurant here in Manila, you will definitely find one within Ermita and this one's surely something that you should try.
Seok Cheon is located along the street of M.H. Del Pilar and it actually looks like a traditional home in the area as the 2nd floor of the resto is really the home of the Korean owners of the place.
Upon entering, you will feel the homey and welcoming vibes with the very simple and casual furnitures that's as straightforward as they are.
The Korean owner took care of us and assisted us all the way. Their servings were really huge and all were for sharing so the 3 dishes that we ordered were actually good for almost 5 people.
We ordered the Seafood Pancake, Bibimbap, and the Jampong.
The pancake was really big! It came sliced already and I really loved how generous the seafood filling was. I loved how crispy yet soft the pancake was.
The Bibimbap was really addicting. The fresh leaves paired with the perfectly cooked beef and their vinaigrette and spicy sauce altogether was so yum!
The Jampong was surprisingly big that I actually took out almost half of it. It was so spicy and the seafood were generously served too. Sulit, sulit all the way!
So yes, you gotta check out this place if you want to get those Korean cravings satisfied yes!
And before I forget, they give a lot of free side dishes that are served unlimited --- Kimchi, Spicy Potatoes, Dilis, Stir Fried Vegetables, etc. Yum! 🏼
