Desserts looks good, very instagrammable. Flavors are okay except that its does not get through until the middle. It looks yummy outside but in the middle its just finely crushed ice and milk. It’s a new option to beat the heat this summer however Its a bit pricey from P350 to P400. Zoom in the last picture for the dessert names.

Summer may be over but detestable unbearable heat is here to stay despite the occasional rainfall. But the crazy heat is also the perfect excuse for me to indulge in cold treats every day. And it was timely that I spotted a new favorite bingsu place.

Hello, Seol Bang!

It’s not hard to miss this new dessert shop if your goal is to just have your photo taken by the picturesque “Venice Grand Canal”. This place is located a couple of meters away from on the selfie stick zone of the mall and that instantly warrants +10 points from me as I do not have to dodge phones and sticks on my way here.

You’d definitely want to drop Seol Bang if you want to escape the crazy heat waves as this place serves not only cold desserts but also offers a dining area that would make you feel like it’s spring or autumn in Manila. But since I dropped by early March where the cold holiday breeze still filled the air, I opted to sit outside.

I wasn’t feeling adventurous during my visit so I went with Mango Granola (PHP199, small | PHP299, big).

Service was very quick as order was served in less than 10 minutes. This stellar service is perfect for those who are dying due to the Sahara Desert level heat we are experiencing right now.

My bowl of happiness was generously topped with beautiful yellow mango bits and granola chunks. And it was love at first bite.

The mango bits were so sweet and reminded me of why foreigners go gaga over our national fruit. The granola added crunch and gave the dessert more character while the finely shaved milky ice made me feel like I was in winter wonderland.

Though most of its bingu bowls are pricier than its competitors with Triple Berry Cheesecake (PHP259, small | PHP439, big) and Strawberry Granola (PHP319, small | PHP429, big) as examples, its premium ingredients will guarantee you that you get your money’s worth.

You know where to get your year round summer treats next time you’re in McKinley!

I have BEAN wanting to visit this place for a long time since they opened, its GRATE that my mom suggested it one Sunday.

Bingsu always makes MISO happy! 128516 We had 3 orders but I got the Strawberry cheesecake for a change. 127827127856

The toppings were STRAWBERRY much, there were so much PEASes that every bite had it. I couldn't ask for S'MORE but maybe they should put an option for more ice?

It was a tad too sweet with the condensed milk all over but not a big DILL tough.

My sister ordered a Cappucino and they actually make a nice PEAR for bingsu.

Again, small size was enough to SHERBET with family. EGGxactly what we needed for a light and refreshing dessert.

LETTUCE celebrate for another delicious Bingsu find! Feeling GRAPEful that I got to spend quality time with my family and those cards/board games really worked up my siblings competitiveness 128514

Wanted a cold refreshing sweet treat to end the day so off to this place we go!

The place has colorful interiors and colorful plates, etc. They also have a few board games beside the door that customers can use.

Their specialty is bing su, so obvi that's what I had to get haha. Each flavor comes in 2 sizes - small and big with prices from 200-400+ depending on flavor and size. I decided on the strawberry cheesecake bingsu in the small serving (329 PHP). 127827127827127827 This is actually good for two people!

As always, the sweetness of the finely shaved milk-drenched ice + cheesecake chunks paired nicely with the tart strawberries. 128523

Their bingsus are as yummy as they look.
We ordered the mini bingsu set with the ff flavors:
127847Choco Fudge Brownie
127847Salted Caramel Cookie
127847Mango Cheesecake
Price is high but worth it. A small order can be shared by 2 persons. You'd definitely enjoy it. 127848128523
**the server said that their best seller are those with cheesecakes but I personally was not satisfied with the cheesecake they're using. Still, the bingsu is great. Many of our fellow customers who were there ordered Mango granola. :))

Been MIA in Looloo for quite a while,
but now I am so back!
I missed you Looloo! lols 🤣

Just got to see EJ B's review for this.
I together with my colleagues have been waiting for what? almost a year for Cafe SeolHwa in Mckinley but never had materialized. How soon is that very soon to open huh? lols! 128540 Then just months ago we got surprised that it won't be Cafe SeolHwa but Seolbang that will be opening soon in Venice.

But finally now the looooong wait is over.
We have decided to give it a try.
Thanks for the treat of my newly promoted friends! lols 128521

The place is spacious and instagrammable.
We ordered Mango Cheesecake, Triple Berry Cheesecake and Choco Fudge Brownie.
The triple berry kinda resembles that of SeolHwa, but i would recommend the Mango Cheesecake! Mango FTW! 128077🏻128155 The Choco Fudge Brownie is just fine, mejo may umay factor.Mas okay ung sa SeolHwa.

And so here's my verdict for them.

Value for Money- 127847127847127847

There's a newly open cafe in Venice Grand Canal Mall called Seol Bang Dessert Cafe which offers Bingsu. We knew Bingsu originated from Korea but this place will give you an Italian feel which blends to the Italian concept of the mall.

I had Triple Berry Cheesecake Bingsu for Php259.00 single serving (Php389.00 to share). It comes with blueberries, strawberries and mixed berries, and cheesecake bites topped with blueberry cream and mint leaf.

Triple Berry Cheesecake Bingsu - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5
"The combination of sweet and sour flavor of the berries and Bingsu makes my taste buds finished the whole serving of it. Just lessen the sugar and it's perfect."

Seol Bang Dessert Cafe is located at 2nd Floor, Venice Grand Canal Mall, McKinley Hill, Taguig.
