Spur of the moment staycation! 128540

As it was my bf's birthday, he wanted to stay overnight at a simple hotel... He's the type who loves being super chill... So a staycation suits him fine!128077 he was curious to try this relatively new hotel, rather than go back to Cocoon... So since it's his day, I was game!128516

We define staycation as a change in scenery, not necessarily spending the whole day in the hotel/ resort premises... So simple hotels suit us fine... This reminds me of Tune Hotels, budget friendly and bare bones... We have already been to their restaurant, Ombu, which boasts modern Filipino cuisine. They also have a small salon up front... But, other than those and a function room, they don't have a gym or a pool... 127946127919127936 so if you are the type who likes to hang out poolside or would take advantage of the hotel gym, it might not be for you...

In fairness, they have a lot of parking spaces in the basement. Yun na ang in fairness ko... The lobby is very simple but clean, with very accommodating staff...

We checked-in a standard room, with inclusive set breakfast for two. The room was medium sized, but bare. No closets, just a simple rack to hang your clothes and put your bags. There's a choice of a kingsize bed or a twin, like any hotel. The beds were comfortable enough, but I can't say that they were luxurious. A simple desk with no drawers and end tables, that's it. No ref, but you can order drinks c/o the room butler 24/7... So just don't bring anything that needs to be refrigerated... 128513 They do have cable, wag naman isiping kwarto lang. 128540

They provide dental hygiene kits and bath essentials... The bathroom has a simple shower as well. No tubs here! Plus they don't provide massage services either (issue!). As I said, it's a very simple, bare room. Perfect if you just need a place to crash and you don't intend to spend a long time in the hotel... Or for a much needed staycation on a budget!128516 It was ok for me, but I prefer Cocoon!128522
