...was supposed to eat at gastropark but nothing tickled my fancy so i just crossed the street and went here instead.

...ordered lechon macau. It was basically lechon kawali served with hoisin sauce. But because it was really meaty, i liked it.

...salted spicy squid is also good.

Trying out this new kid in Kapitolyo for dinner. The place is quite small and has that Kanto Freestyle vibe once you entered the place. It's also noticeable as they put a lot of banners outside.

Some of their specialties are the Lechon macau, Porkchop and Lechon sisig! I tried the Lemon chicken served with white rice and boiled egg for Php95.00. The serving is quite generous, and the food is actually good! I also tried the sisig for Php145.00, and damn, it's really good too!!! You might feel that umay factor after a while because it's really delicious!

Surely, this place will get more visits because their dishes are good and reasonably priced! 128522

Late review.

I accidentally found this when we are supposed to have quick dinner in Kanto Free Style.

Since I parked in their parking space, we decided to just eat here instead of walking to Kanto.

I had their lechon sisig which is quite good. Although it's too oily.

Overall it's good. Haven't tried their other offerings. Will defintely go back and try their other dishes.

Finally a decent Chinese resto near my office!! The serving of my fish fillet tausi rice topping was quite generous considering it was just php100.00. Very delicious with affordable prices!

Their specialty, as advertised, is the Lechon Macau. Its the first item on the menu and its picture is prominently displayed on the wall. So I ordered it along with an order of Honey Garlic Chicken. The lechon macau was such a letdown. It wasn't lechon macau at all. It was lechon kawali. They even served a platito of banana ketchup. It was overcooked and I did not like it. The honey garlic chicken, on the other hand, was delicious.

Sisig was great, but the Lohan Chay tasted a little funky.

Firstly, Ser Chef is a Chinese restaurant. Secondly, in my opinion, it is the best Chinese restaurant this side of the Metro. For the last 4 times I've been in their restaurant this week, I was able to sample their yang chow fried rice, sweet and sour lapu-lapu, hainanese chicken (supposedly a favorite of Mrs Marcos), pancit canton, lechon macau and house blend raspberry iced tea. I love everything I've tried so far! Serving size is generous too (good for 2-3) and very affordable too. You won't go beyond Php200 per dish. Their staff are very friendly too. The place looks very unassuming (it looks like a canteen) and parking can be an issue (you can park in West Capitol Drive or Pioneer Center and just walk from there). But I must say, if I can give 6 looloo stars to Ser Chef, I would. I'll make sure to take pictures and upload them after my next visit.128517
