December 21, 2016 marks the start of my annual hibernation. I slept really late the night before as I didn’t have to worry about waking up early the following morning. As I continue to hibernate the following day while watching Stranger Things, I checked my Instagram account and spotted a post that reminded me of Serenitea’s Anniversary promo. And since I do not want to miss such a good deal, I dragged myself out of bed and headed out to avail of the milk tea place’s free jumbo upsize!

Hello, Serenitea!

There was a long queue when I dropped by around 5:30 pm and as soon as I placed my order, Cranberry Green Tea Fruitea with 50% sugar upsize to jumbo (PHP100), I was asked if I was willing to wait for an hour. Yes, you read it right. ONE HOUR.

I guess this is a classic example of managing customers expectations as the backorders weren’t that crazy for it to take mine one hour. Then again, I was fine with the long wait as I wanted to have dinner within the area.

I headed back 50 minutes later and there was still a queue of foodies who want to avail of Serenitea’s 8th Anniversary promo. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait longer as my order was ready for pick up.

It was my first time to order fruitea as I usually stick with the milk tea variants. But I liked it! I love that it was refreshing and thirst quenching unlike my usual orders. I also didn’t find it watered down as each sip (even when the ice melted) still had a strong taste of cranberry.

Overall, it was a hundred bucks well spent.

Red Bean Streak!

I didnt get my usual green hued drink today, i opted for the conventional - Okinawa and added some red beans!

I loved every sip. Red Bean is love.

I am on my seasonal Green Tea Streak. This is Uji Pyramid Slush's doppelganger. They look exactly alike but different taste wise. Double Green Tea uses green tea ice cream as opposed to vanilla lile Uji. I picked 50% sweetness level. I can taste the Green Tea, not too sweet. I say, this is their Second Honorable Mention. Uji Pyramid Slush is still king.

Ze Uji Pyramid Slush has become a habit. Didn't take 21 , anything with Matcha is irresistible. 25% sweetness level is ideal, i don't have to stress about my blood sugar levels while i indulge in matcha goodness.

I ain't that adventurous with milk tea, i always get any variant under the Yakult series.  Didn't realise that they have something to tickle my fancy.  Uji Pyramid Slush,  ladies and gentleman.  This is one of ze smoothie x slush x frappe like drinks from the friendly neighborhood Serenitea.

I dunno what they put in there.  I taste matcha and vanilla ice cream.   It is a tad too sweet but i take all the blame as i picked normal sugar levels.  Maybe I'd stick with 25% on my next visit.

I now have other options besides Yakult.  Nice to meet you,  Uji Pyramid Slush.

I share the same altruistic love for Reese's but my adoration for Matcha is a notch higher. Hence, the decision to try one of their new drinks.

I present to you...Matcha in the City... Err...Matcha Slush with Reese's. The lovechild of Matcha and Reese's. Subtle matcha flavor with a peanut butter kick. I picked 50% level of sweetness as i do not want to go into sugar shock on my first sip.

I liked it. A lil odd but normal is boring anyway.

We got the green tea slush (fixed sugar) with pearl and lychee fruit tea (no sugar) without sinker since no nata na. It was late Saturday evening na rin kasi. Few people were hanging out so we got our order right away. It was scorching hot outside and the green tea slush was a nice way to beat the heat. Love it! Lychee green tea was good too!

My all time fave milk tea place. I got myself the Malty choco with Panna cotta sinker with 75% sweetness. Chillin' on a Saturday night, literally watched people passed by. I hope they'll put a table or 2 inside the store. Somehow i don't enjoy the second hand smoke i get from the neighboring establishments.

I've been to Serenitea multiple times. I always order one of the Yakult based drinks. Today is a different day, i broke the routine and opted to try one of their featured drinks.

Cranberry Cheesecake Slush (php 160)

I ain sure if this has cranberry tea somewhere as it somewhat resembles a smoothie. To be honest, i dont care, all i know is that the first sip completely erased all the hell i experienced today at work.

Not too sweet and refreshing. And besides, we all need a lil pink in our lives.

Jumbo cups are baaaaaack!!! You just have to order their top 10 drinks, large size to get a free upgrade to 1liter!!!

The catch...today's the last day. You still have time...hurry and run to your nearest branch!

Like the fact that there's a nearby Serenitea to satisfy my thirst for Cranberry Green Tea with Aloe. Dislike the fact that they don't serve food aka peppered tofu. You have to walk a few blocks away to get your peppered tofu etc. fix.

Milk tea variety is good. Chairs are outside so when its super hot or super rainy i do not recommend to stay for a period of time. Service is fast.

Did you know you can ask the crew to 'hard press' on your milk tea for an extra caffeinated kick?

Their Okinawa milk tea is badass!! 128518

Ordered my usual Hokkaido with pudding &
Crystal. Been drinking a lot of iced milk tea, iced coffee plus the fattening ice cream
& halo-halo because once you step out of the car these days, you just can't wait to have anything cold from fear of dehydrating from this sweltering heat. (And that's while I finish my baon of ice cold water)

This branch was our first favorite before the serenitea craze. We used to line up for so long before we could get our tea fix.

Sesame Roasted 50% with Pana Cotta milk tea tonight. I kinda dislike my drink tonight, parang walang lasa yun blend ng Sesame roasted nila ngayon. 128529

CBT was no longer available when I went around 6:30pm so I was forced to try other things on the menu..

Had to settle with Lychee Yakultea instead. It was good since I love yakult!! 128077 Lychee flavor was the bomb too! But nothing beats CBT though 128541

I felt the love last night at Serenitea burgos! Haha "love" talaga! I ordered for Wintermelon milk tea and I was surprised (and overwhelmed at the same time), that one of their servers recognized me and call me at my name. I just respond a smile to her. She even serve our orders to our table! How sweet!!! 978697869786
