I really fell in love with Matcha after trying it in starbucks when I was in ny, and boy this one is the best Matcha Latte yet here in Manila. I just keep wondering why they closed the Serenitea in Venice Piazza but they'll probably open a better and bigger one at the Venice.

Worth it for its price, I always order it with as little sugar as possible, either washed pearls, nata de coco, or black diamonds, and with light ice. I swear its more worth it when you ask for less ice. You get more matcha and I like it a lot when they serve it this way, and I'll be the one to shake it. Best matcha latte so far!!

My new favourite ever since I came back from NY. almost like my Spot Dessert Bar matcha latte. I wish they made it a tad less sweeter though. So worth it for only 149 PHP. It does not have sinkers included but nata and pearls go so well with it.

First time to taste this. Not so satisfied. Maybe it's not the right drink that I'm looking for. But still planning to try their other tea.

I just don't like that you have to climb the steep stairs to order and pay.

Serenitea is probably the only store in this area that closes at mid-night. The others close around 9-11pm.128517

I was catching up with a friend and we stayed here for a while, the place is really small and it was a good thing there was a table available. As usual, I got the wintermelon milk tea... I just forgot to take a photo. 128514 My friend got the wintermelon with vanilla ice cream (I didn't check what it's called), he seemed to like it because he finished it... even opened the lid to get all the ice cream out. LOL.

Thinking of trying that next time.128513

I just discovered that you can order ANY of their milk teas HOT. Perfect for the stormy weather! Too bad it only comes in one size. Would love to have a grande or venti size milk tea.

I set aside the CBT for this visit to try Miri A's recommendation.

The components:
✅Hokkaido (butter toffee caramel)
✅0% sugar level
✅Pearls

Honestly, I got scared when I found out that this drink had both toffee and caramel. Why do that?!? These are two sugar-based desserts in a sugar-based drink. But I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it wasn't as sweet as I expected it to be. I actually liked it! I also enjoyed its nutty after-taste.

I was even wishing for just a little more sugar. Maybe I'll try this again next time at 25% or lower. That should do the trick.

And I have to give a thumbs-down to their packaging. It was leaking even before I had the chance to stab it with my giant straw. Why isn't their packaging consistent for every store? And I'm only referring to the ones that can still use plastic. In the immortal words of C+C Music Factory, these are one of those "things that make you go hmmm..."

This bugger just gave me badge number 6. Woohoo! And I'm also relieved that it's called the "Tea Timer" instead of the "Tea Bag" badge. Thanks looloo! 128540

Tropical storm 128525

Anyway, this branch is super cute! It has a loft and plenty of mirrors. Hihi. (I've got a thing for those)

The lady behind the counter is very nice too, she was alone when I dropped by and she had a big smile on her face. That's usually rare because others are so haggard when they're the only person in the station.

And, they have wifi! Cool, right? :)) I can chill there all day... haha. NAT. 128517

Beat the heaatttt! 9728 Note this blooper: "Miss, yung Assam Grass Jelly, no sinkers 'yun?" Toinks! 128517

Such bipolar weather we have in the Philippines! Serenitea opened up another branch along Tuscany Estates, Mckinley Hill. This was just few blocks away from the Venice Piazza branch. Odd enough. It should have been another milk tea branch.

Anyway, I love specifically the interiors of this branch, themed with green & white and a touch of nature. It warms up the vibe for tea lovers. 10084

What I got was Assam Grass Jelly having said the blooper line I used above. "Sabaw lang?" I had it at 50% sugar level, my usual. Taste was good and grass jelly is healthier than other sinkers IMO. Certainly filled up my tummy that I was able to skip merienda.

If you wish just to chill or answer stressful emails, this branch is perfect. Although limited seats, it doesn't get filled up easily! 128077
