My co-intern and I chanced upon this small but artsy resto after hearing mass last week at St Nicholas. We decided to try it out the next day.
The interiors are very cute and interesting. It's graffitti on one side, paintings hanging on another, and the menu written in colored chalk on blackboards. The graffitti features writings of patrons on sticky notes with witty (sometimes not so) quotes, blurbs, whatnots.
First visit, I tried the sisig and rice meal. Savory sisig paired with garlic rice and some veggies on the side plus iced tea. Burp!
Second visit, I tried the bagnet with garlic rice. No iced tea with the meal but you can choose from
soda to rootbeer float to calamansi juice. Bagnet was soooo good! Can rival Bagneto's crunchy, crispy, juicy, and tender all at the same time. You can even choose if you want bagoong or lechon sauce as the condiment.
Serri's also offers silog meals that caters to the student demographic since it's quite near San Lo... The cheese sticks have made me curious to try them the next time we eat there
Serri herself takes the order, cooks, and serves ️ One of the nicest owners/restaurateurs I've met in a long time. Thank you for making my dining experience even better with your commendable service.
