Got to try their barbecue and kare-kare on my first visit last Halloween. It would be worth coming back to try their other specialties.

Still in my sick bed so nothing else to do but be online. Hehehe. We had palabok & Bbq w/ java rice much similar to Alex III. We did try their famous coffee (as the waiter said) w/c was great to wash off all the fats we had. Reasonably priced, too 128522

If you're looking for a nice place to eat Filipino food then you'll love Serye. Their lumpiang shanghai was delicious, full of flavor and punong puno. The kare kare's to die for also!!!!!!! We also ordered sisig , and it's also very tasty. Just didnt like how small the place is.

Had good, fast and reliable service the last time I was here...which made me wonder what transpired to create such a drastic change in service.

We waited almost 30 minutes for our orders to arrive. People in nearby tables were also complaining about the long wait. My iced tea came after three follow-ups...and by that time, I was already done eating.

And if you're wondering, no, that is not a half eaten serving of their beef kaldereta. This is their solo serving. Php265 for 3 pieces of meat. It was flavorful, tasted really good, but really now, even our canteen at work serves us more than this.

Had late lunch here with my Boss (aka Food trip buddy) today. Was so hungry I couldn't decide what to eat...until I saw the Java Rice and the Chicken BBQ. So I ordered the Barbecue Duo 1.

As we were waiting, my Boss told me that Serye is actually a play on the Family name Reyes...who owns the Aristocrat group. I knew right there and then that I ordered right as I absolutely love and basically grew up eating their Chicken BBQ and Java Rice. Of course, I also ordered their Serye Iced tea.

My Boss ordered a basket of camote chips while waiting. Camote was a bit on the makunat side but was certainly a treat to eat and munch on while waiting.

Our order arrived soon after and I basically devoured whatever was on my plate. It was just as I remembered. I loved the unique BBQ taste reminscent of the signature BBQ of Aristocrat. Service was also wonderful. All the waiters and servers were attentive and courteous. Can't wait to come back and try the other items on their menu.

I've had better kare kare to be honest (Jay-j's or Lola Idang's). And it's too damn expensive to eat here. Sorry.

Had an important errand in Eastwood so opted to eat lunch at Serye. Servers were very courteous to assist us. Background music was OPM and the seats were comfortable. Had the following orders: Chicken in a Basket (P625), Pork Sisig with egg (P270), Pinakbet (P185), Quarter Boneless Barbecue (P225), Guinumis (P125), Iced Tea (P115) and rice. Haven't tried the place for a long time so going back here, a few things have changed. Price was somewhat hefty and music was not that entertaining. Guinumis was sweet at first but ince the ice melts then it becomes yummy. Sauce for the chicken was blissful if only the same could be said about the portions. Sisig would have been better if portions were crunchy. Chicken was tasty though and Pinakbet just right. Nothing flashy but a few highlights such as the service and both types of chicken. If only it had the same price and aura of Aristocrat, then it would be a different story...and rating.

Who knew they have great suman? Well i didn't but now I do.
So for your suman cravings i suggest you give serye a try. Fair price for quality kakanin.

Some things you just find by accident, instead of getting dq next door i decided to eat suman while waiting for someone.

Good find!

If you're not in the mood to be picky, this place can make you feel right at home because of the Filipino dishes they offer. Ordered chicken in a basket - 6 pieces of fried chicken with java sauce. Yummy.

Although there aren't a lot of food to choose from in the menu, prices are reasonable and the Filipino culture is well preserved in a fine dining experience.

It was our poodle's 2nd birthday so we decided to take her out. We were supposed to dine inside Eastwood mall but we forgot to bring our dog's "doggie book" with the list of recent vaccinations. So we roamed around City walk instead.

We ordered their basket of honey style fried chicken. This dish might just give Max a run for their money! The thick sweet soy sauce accompanied the chicken so well, we didn't even ordered rice with it. But we did have Pancit Luglog. Just when they were about to serve the dish, a giant fly fell spot on. Good thing I was able to spot it and pointed it out to the waitress. She didn't seem to know what to do at first, but we insisted on replacing the item. After a couple of minutes, I had my share of the pancit. Sadly, it wasn't as rich as I want it to be. A bit dry for me, and the fish flakes on top were too much that I felt like I was choking on them. The Fresh Lumpia Ubod was lovely though. Stuffed with all the veggies. Peanuts and the sauce on the side. Reminded me much of what my Lola used to make. *insert a thousand childhood memories here* 128077

I couldn't help but to applaud the restaurant's wide variety of dishes. I swear you could name any Filipino dish and they have it on the menu. Coming back to this place with my grandparents and the rest of the family.

Who doesn't like Crispy Pata despite the cholesterol and calories it gives afterwards? To make it more succulent, Serye has a better version - Boneless Crispy Pata. You'll never look at Crispy Pata the same way again.

Filipino food for our OFW's craving! My cousins from Kuwait definitely missed eating pinoy food.

We ordered a lot of Pork since they don't get to eat pork so often in Kuwait. Sisig, boneless crispy pata, serye inihaw platter, sinigang na baboy and bicol express are just SOME of our pork orders :)) we also had bistek na bangus and basket of chicken. We were a group of 14 since we're also celebrating a birthday. I can't write about each dish so I'll make it easy by saying this: a group of 14 people was able to finish rice good for 25 people! That's how good all our orders were! :) Servings are small for their price though but the taste makes up for it. Oh wait, I almost forgot, try their macapuno pandan cake - heavenly!!

Service is fast! Our waitress didn't leave us! We didn't have to call her when we needed something coz she would ask us from time to time. Very friendly as well! Including the other servers. Had so much fun eating here :)

They may have common Filipino dishes but they make it as unique as possible! I love their Guinumis (tapioca w/ coconut milk and some kind of sweet sauce) and their desserts! I also saw in their menu that they have this coffee with Ice cream! A strange combination yet very deceiving... I'd love to come back here every now and then and never lose my appetite from trying the same dish all over again! No matter how full I was I wanted to try more of their food :D plus they also have some products like the chocolate and brown rice available! I really love this place and it would be so unfortunate for anyone to miss out on the incredible dishes they have! :D
