Cheap, quick and filling.

Those are the perfect words to describe this joint. It may not be anything fancy but it will do in a pinch.

I was looking for a quick snack but the line was a too long at the Famous Belgian Waffles kiosk. Walking around, I stumbled upon Sgt. Sisig. Let's see how it stacks up against Sisig Hooray.

Components:
From what I saw both sisigs basically have the same components. I couldn't see everything the sisig lady was adding but I did notice the green finger peppers, onions and chicharon. Plus the filmy thick sweet sauce she put on top.

Manner of heating:
Both heat their food the non-traditional way, via a microwave oven

Serving size/style:
SH has bigger servings but SS has bigger sisig pieces.

Verdict:
I prefer SH. Sisig is an orchestra of odd ingredients and familiar flavors. The smaller chopped-up pieces of SH guarantee that you'll get more components in every mouthful.

But if you don't have access to SH, like me, SS is a very much acceptable alternative.
