I'm not a fan of making consecutive visits to a resto in such a short period of time. But my dad wanted to satisfy his craving of buffalo wings, so I had no choice but to go with him to Shakey's again.

I think we were the first customers for the day. So I'm also guessing their oven had not warmed up yet, because the pizza my dad ordered wasn't thoroughly baked yet. The cheese had not completely melted and the thin crust was still a bit gummy. We had it sent back to the oven. 128078 Hmpf. That's the same problem we had the last time we were here.

Good thing their buffalo wings did not disappoint. It was fresh, hot, and spicy! Yay! 128516

And thumbs up too for their friendly and attentive crew. They were all smiles and we didn't need to even call their attention to ask for water or the bill. When they saw that we were finished, they offered to prepare the bill. Nice. 128077

Haven't been to this branch of Shakey's in a while, so it was decided it was time to pay them a visit.

Food came promptly and the service was pretty good.

Ordered their buffalo wings. It was served fresh, hot, and spicy - just the way I like it!

The pizzas came, and it was just ok, nothing mind-blowing there.

The thin crust pepperoni pizza was good; the crust was light and crispy. Shakey's still managed to live up to their claim that "there's nothin' like it". Haha.

Tried their new Texas BBQ Chicken pizza with their New York crust. It was supposed to be a pizza with a sweet and smoky sauce, chicken strips, red onions, and cilantro pesto. Shakey's says that its sauce is sweet and smoky, but it leaned more towards sweet for me. The cilantro pesto and chicken strips were good together though! The crust needed a little more time in the oven, because a part of the pizza's dough was still a bit gummy.

And the mojo potatoes still rock.

It was a fairly good experience, but there's certainly room for improvement.
