Looove their lamb steak shawarma rice with keema. Beef and chicken shawarma with an iced tea will set you back about 180 while the lamb is about 220. Totally not bad considering the servings are big (for me at least), and the dishes pretty good.

I still remember the first time I ate at Shawarma Bros. It was in Pioneer Market which was far from being the foodie destination it is today. Shawarma Bros was not a regular in the market and only pops now and then as it is stationed there as a mobile food truck (with its home base in Pasig). A and I were supposed to go boxing but we were both feeling lazy and skipped burning fats. Instead, we headed to Pioneer Market to see what’s there.

It was around March or April 2015 when we visited and there were not a lot of options then. We only had around three food trucks to choose from—Shawarma Bros, a bagnet store and another that sell sandwiches or panini. Since my other officemate C was so excited when Shawarma Bros announced that they will be in Pioneer Market for a few days, I decided to give it a try to know why it made C so giddy.

After looking at the menu, I opted to go with Beef Shawarma Wrap (PHP149). I ordered a glass of iced tea from the other food truck while waiting for my meal to be prepared.

In less than 10 minutes, my food was ready for pick up.

The simple looking shawarma wrap was your usual no fuss mediterranean meal. It was pretty straightforward. The beef bits were juicy and flavorful and the veggies added crunch. I also loved the generous serving of white sauce. Now I know why C loves Shawarma Bros.

Lamb me like you do, la-la-lamb like you do... 128514

Enjoying my #humpday lunch with Shawarma Bros' Lamb and Keema Shawarma Rice drizzled with garlic yogurt and cheese sauce! 128525128525

This is still my go to place for awesome lamb and keema shawarma. 128525 I know some people don't enjoy lamb because of the occasional "malansa" taste but this one doesn't have that so yay. Plus the garlic yogurt and cheese sauce will negate and trace of it anyway! Hahaha. I absolutely love lamb so I'm so happy this Resto is accessible to me.

Only drawback is the parking (1 slot only) and place is a bit cramp. Best to go here on the way home as you'll smell like shawarma after you eat. Hahaha. 128514 But for php 250 for this huge plate with lots of meat (I'm an ulam person so I love that half the plate is meat hahaha), it's definitely worth the visit. 128076🏼

To summarize (like what I do in my IG chubbyperohappy):

I tried this one when they had a food truck in Capitol Commons and in Metrowalk. Their Shawarma was quiet impressive. Their beef and chicken were so tender, also their rice was good. Their sauces was also good. It's also affordable. They also have good in servings.

I had Beef Shawarma Rice + Keema (P209 - pictured) and Jom had Lamb Steak Rice + Keema (P259). The meat was undoubtedly the star of the plate. They had generous serving of the meat that's nicely seasoned and very tender too. I don't eat lamb because I always get an after taste of...karton. Yup, I can't explain or word it any other way! But this one had a tolerable taste so I enjoyed snipping some bits from Jom's steel plate. harharhar :P

The biryani rice and salsa were also good on their own; the rice had a peppery taste and the salsa is a welcomed palette cleanser with its cool, semi-sweet tomato cucumber combo. Though I wished the sauces were on a separate container. But I didn't ask for it - so maybe next time.

But we also found a wonderful discovery! This place carries Allmytea (P45). It's a naturally brewed ready to drink iced tea made right here in the Philippines. Make sure to grab one when you dine here.

I loved Shawarma Bros when they first opened their flagship store this year! To the point I would go back a couple of times in a week for their beef shawarma wrap. It was full of meat, onions and tomatoes that go perfectly with cheese and chili tomato sauces.

After months of not eating here, today was a disappointment that could very well end my Shawarma Bros "addiction".

Of course I ordered my usual beef shawarma wrap expecting it to be the same. But majority of what I ate were onions and tomatoes! As in I couldn't even taste the beef anymore! 128557 it's so sad that they would "lessen" the contents of their ingredients maybe to keep up with the costs and retaining the price?

I'm not sure but based on my dining experience earlier, I wouldn't be coming back anytime soon.

I hope they do something about this. 128528

Because I wasn't able to post my picture from my dinner here last night, I opted to there again and use the same pic. Hahaha. #frustrated #addictsashawarma #buhaybaboy

Here's my HIDDEN MICKEY shot. 127882127881

Presenting the lamb burrito wrap. Anything lamb is glorious. But it's a very delicate meat as if you cook it wrong, it'll taste malansa. But they prepare it oh so well so no complaints from this loyal customer here 128079

Definitely a must try. May loyalty award na Ba ako for always eating here #shawarmabros? 128517

Say hello to my find the hidden Mickey shot 128064

Shawarma Bro's is still my go to place for quick and delicious hearty food. How can you go wrong with glorious lamb... Even if Ayaw ni Julie J and Chichi T Ng lamb 128514

But if you like lamb like me, the lamb burrito bro wrap is a must try. For p199, you'll surely be stuffed. It's the perfect mix of java rice, onions, salsa, cheese, and heaps of lamb. Their yogurt dressing absolutely compliments the spice and meat.

Definitely a must visit when you're in the area. BUT be sure to go there early as the place is not that big and the parking is killer.

The lamb burrito rice is absolutely delish. You'd be really stuffed and satisfied for p200. Not bad.

The only issue lang is you'd still taste the dish every time you burp even for hours. Okay, TMI. Pero wild e. Toothbrush and dessert couldn't battle it. The spices were really strong. But it was worth it. Lucky I didn't have a meeting din. 128517

Definitely on of the good food stops in pasig.

Ps: only downside, parking is crap 128546

Craved for some shawarma loving and luckily this joint was still open.

The lamb was awesome as always. Love the spicy note of lamb after a few bites. Iba talaga. And kudos to Shawarma bros because it does taste "malansa" at all. A lot of friends of mine don't like lamb because of that.

Sulit as always at only 200 bucks 128077

Ps: again, warning sa parking. Only 1 slot for guests. 128557

Been intrigued by Shawarma Bros bec of the food truck buzz.

Took me a while to give it a try bec the place only had 2 parking slots and since I am getting too tired of the restaurant selections in Eastwood, finally got to try it last Friday.

I ordered the Beef Shawarma rice. It took about 30minutes for our food to be served bec the place was packed. Good thing the place was cool despite the uncomfy seats.

The food arrived and I was excited bec I was looking forward to try the cheese and yogurt sauce. The verdict? Errrr.. Was just ok. The meat was really flavorful but very chewy. The sauce was too overwhelming and I can't really taste the cheese but parang alat lang. The rice was too moist for my liking. I decided to ask for extra chili sauce and that one was ok.

The service was really nice, the servers are really polite and very accommodating. But sadly, that's the only thing I liked about this place.

I wouldn't probably be coming back anytime soon.

The place was small but then again the food was great. The combination of sauces and the salsa really compliment each other.
