I guess this is one of the oldest Ramen Joints in the Philippines. The broth was flavorful and the service was good :)

There is a large variety of choices on the menu all for very reasonable prices. The ramen noodles were very fresh and tasty. My best friend and I will definitely be coming back very soon!

Just came from an official looloo eatup and I'm already hungry from all that talk about food. With wild rains, cold weather and the flu (partida tinatrangkaso ako kanina hehehe 128514) there's no other comfort food than a hot bowl of Ramen. Shinjuku is probably the only decent Ramen House that is still open at this hour. 128522

I usually order the Butakakuni Ramen but since I am not feeling well my body can't probably handle all the fat in that bowl. This time I went for the lighter Sapporo Ramen (Large of course). It's similiar to Miso Butter Corn but without the Miso.

Finished the bowl while watching "Kuroko No Basuke" on my mobile for a more loner Japanese vibe. 128514

Popped by Shinjuku for a meeting. Tried their ...ice cream on ice shavings and bento set. Passable for the bento set. The ice shaving with vanilla ice cream was a life saver since the weather was hot like hell now...

For these reasons, and with a painful heart, I am giving this place 3 starts but I am willing to go back to give it a second chance.
As with the ramen, the other dishes were delicious. The fried rice was so good. But it is really expensive as the serving was so small.

The staff members were not too friendly but they got the job done anyway. Service was not that fast, but the food was good.

While the food was delicious, the ambience, cleanliness and efficiency of service of staff plays a big role for me. With the service and the smell and the dirty place, I feel that I did not get the value for my money, more so where the prices were expensive. For these reasons, and with a painful heart, I am giving this place 3 starts but I am willing to go back to give it a second chance.

Back to basics! I loved their Butakakuni Ramen even before the Ramen Boom. Their customers are Japanese so you know you are in a resto that serves authentic Jap fare. The best thing about this place? They are open til 12am! 128077

Use to be one of my staple japanese ramen joint to go to... But coz of the sudden sprouting of japanese ramen resto everywhere ... I've never been here for years... And I'm also a tad sick of Japanese ramen now.. had to much I guess... I now find them too oily for my liking.

Last night we're suppose to go to one of the sashimi resto along little tokyo ... But due to tough parking & the rain... We ended up here.

The ramen still good ... Love it's spicyzzzz broth but find it too oily... Chasu is soft but cuts too fatty.

Karaage was disappointing

Sashimi, California maki, chahan, tempura , curry Katsu , gyoza were all so so

Only the buta was worth having .. Melts in ur mouth softness ...But again ... Too oily for me... Mehhhh

the meal was filling but we spent more than 3k... I was actually surprised ... so pricey

I'm not really into ramen but I like the Mabo Tofu Ramen of Shinjuku.... sana. Had lunch there today but for some reason it was not the same. My last visit was better128542. The sauce was not that thick and not as spicy.

After duty take out curry, wantanmen, butakakuni , while waiting solo sashimi and beer. Luv the way the cucumber and radish are knived to a straight and curl noodle like side dish. Fresh tuna. Home now to share the others. Oh, for those who have yet to slurp the softest melt in your mouth sweet pork butakakuni.
