One of the many loved Filipino traditions I am proud that my family endeavors in is visiting churches. Visita iglesia is a much loved practice taught to me by my parents and that we teach our young ones as well. In one of our trips up north, we visited a couple of these shrines to pay homeage to the rich culture that we have and to pray.

Our Lady of Manaoag is a popular go-to up there. Most people visit, praying in hopes of their wishes coming true. At one point, it was flocked because of the miracles the Lady bestowed to the people who visited. 🤔

The place had changed, a bit. But it still brings the same feeling when you get inside.128522

It bears a cool breeze during the evening and a nice view from a far.🤓127939🏻

The vendors remove the serenity of what is supposed to be a sanctuary.

If you happen to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of The Rosary, don't miss the oppportunity of checking out the museum as well.

The museum is located just behind the church. You will see this cape of Our Lady of The Rosary as well as the different kinds of chalices and ciboriums. On display.
