Second review for this place. Decided to come home last Saturday because I was not feeling well and wala mag-aalaga sakin sa Mandaluyong. /foreveralone

Anyway, after my check-up, my mom and I decided to eat here because.. uhm. It's my default place to eat whenever I go home. Haha.

I did not order Lamb Chops today though. Para maiba naman. Baka masanay lang ako na nandiyan siya tapos one day pag hindi available, masaktan ako.

I ordered the Pork Ribs (P250) which comes with rice na rin. Medyo effort lang kainin. I wish I ordered porkchops na lng. Lol. But it tasted good. It was tender and well-flavored. The rice was good too, may corn and all. My mom ordered tacos.

The place can be really packed during lunch and dinner. We came at around 11:30am and the service was very fast. The tacos came in in less than 5minutes and my order came in after another 5 minutes! 128077🏻

me and my officemates used to dine at Pasig branch.
i was in Dagupan yesterday (6/15/16) so it's a good time to try their first branch.

i was alone so i only ordered Silantro's Burrito. and they never failed me. :) maybe no taste difference but I'm very satisfied with the service.

i was thinking of ordering nachos and it is one of my favorite but I alone could not possibly finish the food because their serving is really good for sharing.

thumbs up Silantro! 128077

My taste buds are exploding with happiness!!!

Went to Silantro Dagupan with fambam! And the photoshoot happened. Fam's very happy with the sulit price and flavorful yumminess!

Ordered quesadillas and nachos. Cliche for a mexican joint right? But really yummy! Very generous serving, the nachos was topped with beef and veggies. The green sauce is nice to mix with the white one. Aaaand, be careful of the brown one. It's really spicy! 128581🏻 Chix quesadillas, is to much for me. I can't even finish it alone 128077🏻 Oozing with cheese and slices of chicken.

Not in the photo- ribs, too much salt (for me)
Burrito - again! Super yummy!
Seafood skewers - good but pricey.

Really made a review for the nachos and quesadillas, will write some more for other items in the menu!

You don't need to wait in line very long unlike the one and Kapitolyo and also the Lamb Chops is cheaper! (Provincial Rate?) Haha.

Everytime I go home, we would eat here and I always order the Lamb Chops in medium rare and tacos. Service is good too. Waiters are very attentive and nice. Place is a little small but it's better para hindi maingay.

PS: Thank you to the guy/girl who brought Silantro to Dagupan! I 128147 U.

Silantro, a Mexican-Fil Kantin which will make you love their foods and go back to them as much as possible..

I used to hate their food, but at the later part i couldnt not visit their place at least once a month. Nachos full of goodness as well as their calliente wings, lamb chops is also highly recommended, that mashed potato with it just makes me miss it every now and then..

U'll just love it here. :) one of the best food place when you visit dagupan.

Had our dinner here last night. We had their lamb chops and beef nachos.

The lamb chops is ok. I was expecting something tender but it wasn't. I had to fight with the chop to slice it. Lol.

The nachos is ok. Instead of the usual ground beef, it has chunks of beef.

Overall it's good. The place is a bit untidy and packed with noisy diners. It's also small and parking is a challenge. I told my friend we should've used smaller car instead of the ranger for easy parking haha. Lesson learned. We'll use the smaller one when we go out again tonight.

Silantro is an herb. It is also the name of two Filipino-Mexican style restaurants in Pasig and Dagupan. I am not sure if both are owned by the same company. I will interview them the next time I visit.

I did have the pleasure in eating at the Dagupan restaurant. It is located at Perez Boulevard along the strip of stores where you can find Razon, Tugos, etc. or if you're familiar with Wherelse or the Ramos clinic/hospital? That's it.

The weathered sign is already appealing as it's got character, but prior to eating here, I had already tasted their nachos as a take away by tita mama.

It's a small place with only around 6 to seven tables if I recall correctly. We arrived around 4ish in the afternoon and it was already pretty jammed. We had to wait a couple of turns in line to be seated. It was worth the wait, really!

We ordered the nostalgic nachos, seafood risotto, baby back ribs and I ordered the lamb chops with mashed potatoes.

Initially they served us lime water and were given cutleries based on our order while we wait for our food. It wasn't a long wait, which was surprising becauase it was fully packed. People's voices and laughter flowed with the up-to-date music.

Our order arrived almost silmultaneously. The nachos was served first with their signiture three sauces, namely, garlic, onion and chili. The nachos was sprinkled with succulent ground beef, tomatoes and silantro, drizzled with melted cheddar cheese and their green sauce. If my description is not enough to make you salivate, here are a couple of pictures.

Next came the lamb chops which I ordered well done with the two scoops of most melt in your mouth mashed potatoes with poured gravy on a sizzling plate. If you're not a fan of goat meat, then lamb meat isn't for you either. But it is aromatically good. I was the only one who appreciated it very much.

The baby back ribs and seafood risotto came next. The back ribs has the slight hint of barbeque taste. I have tasted better back ribs, but this one is pretty good as the meat almost fell off the bones. This was everyone's favorite.

The seafood risotto solved the rice problem of my companions. As you know, Filipinos can't go on a day without rice. It is topped with shrimp, clams and various in season shells. I really liked it too!

Affordable and very delicious. Gonna eat again in this fil-mex resto. The guacamole dip is perfect for the nachos. And the paella was excellent.

Pretty neat for something to eat in the metro where fast food chains usually dominates. I love most especially their beef nachos and quesadillas. A glass of mojito won't hurt. Their place is strategically located at one of the busiest areas in the city so it's expected to be full during daytime. the absence of parking space is a downer however.
