We meet again, Silantro. I missed waiting in line (har-har). The last time i dined here was a year ago (give or take). Why the long break, you ask? Simple, i do not have the patience to wait in line. It annoys me when customers overstay while there is a long queue.

Anyway, we still waited but we were third on the list. 15 minutes wait time and we got a table.

| Beef Nachos
| Potato Dish (Forgot the name and i am too darn lazy to google)
| Completo Taco
| Dinamita

I forgot to take photos, my bad. The potatoes are too darn irresistible. I managed to snap one photo of ze nachos. They are as awesome as i remember. I love the sweet x tangy flavour of the salsa. There were generous chunks of beef and a cheese! I loved every single bite. And i may have been responsible for consuming more than half #ThisIsWhyImFat.

The potato dish is awesome. Biased opinion as i live and breathe for potatoes. The dinamita is cheesy alright but doesn’t have an iota of spice. It is sacrilegious to call it as such if there is no spice.

That’s a wrap.

Peace Out!

After an unprecedented run of their pilot branch in Kapitolyo, Silantro now has 5 branches all over the Metro. Its recent success can be attributed to their winning mix of Mexican and Filipino at an affordable price tag.

Together with two other friends, we had a late night catch up here. We had long conversations at the same time appreciating Silantro’s pride and joy offerings.

We had their most popular ones including their tender and juicy Macho Lucha Steak. At Php 460 it sounds expensive but it’s not. This quite hefty slab of beef is of quality on texture and taste.

Our table also got two different kinds of Soft Tacos at Ligero or single serving meats. We got the premium meats of Lamb and Oxtail. These pieces were only Php 75 each!

Since everyone was getting Beef Nachos, their ultimate best selling plate, we copied others and got too. This was a generous order, full of cheese, salsa and guacamole for just Php 180.

We ended the night with stronger ties of friendship, with the assistance of Silantro’s reliable dishes. After an unprecedented run of their pilot branch in Kapitolyo, Silantro now has 5 branches all over the Metro. Place: always full, 128514 If you are super hungry kaunting pasensiya sa haba ng pila. I don’t if overrated lang talaga siya.
But for me
Food is just okay. Tried beef nachos, the beef is too salty. papi’s fritas is just okay too, the wings... i do not like the taste of it. Sorry but still will go to buffalo n wings or frankies.
Quesadillas and melon shake is my fave.
We order beer too.
For the price : too pricey.
For waiting for like 20mins in line, just to eat here hmmm i guesa i will search for another resto.

Eating in the UP Town Center branch of Silantro is like playing a game of chance. Whether you come during lunch, dinner, or some "dead hour", snagging a table takes a lot of luck and timing. And, if luck and timing fail you, a lot of patience. It's no surprise, though, that Silantro is always packed with diners. It's one of the few places in the whole mall where you get value for money. And the prices are pretty cheap too.

But luck was on my and my best friend's side when we attempted to eat here and we were able to quickly get a table when we arrived. As always, we ordered the regular Nachos. It may seem like it's not much but I swear it's so good! Do enjoy it with the provided sauces to maximize the yumminess of the nachos.

We each also ordered a soft shell taco and opted for two meat toppings. We both went for beef and lengua. The tacos were just okay for us. Some of the meat chunks were slightly tough and we didn't really like the inclusion of the white onion. I think it would've been better if they caramelized the onions a little before adding them on top so that they taste sweeter and would pair better with the meat,

Whenever I go to UP Town Center, I always recommend this place to my friends. Every food here is special.

This time, I tried their Burrito (P180) because this one is my favorite Mexican food. The small pieces of beef was tender and tasty. Rice was a bit soft but I loved how they got together with other stuff. But, if I have to choose between this and Army Navy’s Burrito, I would choose the latter. That one has a special place in my heart. 128525128514

Aside from Burrito, I also ordered their best-selling Beef Nachos (P180). Nothing beats this, I swear! 128149

Silantro is always jump-packed with diners. Be there early and expect to wait for more than an hour.

It was this year's summer when fam went to UP Town and noticed the long queue in Silantro's. We were too hungry to wait so we went to Peri-peri instead. 4-3 months later, here we are! We're willing to wait this time. 128514 Waited for over an hour to try Silantro's famous nachos.

Ordered:
Beef Nachos
Silantro's Quesadillas
Beef Quesadillas
Silantro's Burrito
2 orders of Calliente Wings
3 rice
Pritas Fritos
1L Iced tea

ALL of the food we ordered was delicious! Definitely worth the wait. My fav is their nachos. Gonna eat here again if we'll be willing to wait.

Total bill was 1.7k. Wow. We were honestly surprised. My brother and I thought it would cost us 2.5k. Good thing we pushed to wait and try Silantro if not our second option was Yabu which we think would cost us more or less 5k. 128514

Ps. My first food review ever. Not lurking anymore. 128518

I've wanted to try Silantro since reading a lot of good reviews here in looloo. The day has finally come!! We ordered Beef nachos, Pancho's burger, Pork ribs, and melon shake.

We ~loved~ the beef nachos that we ordered another set after finishing the first 128514. My brother got the Pancho's burger. He didn't like. He says that the flavor does not come together. I tried it and thought I was okay, nothing extra. The pork ribs was okay as well. I thought it was a bit dry and tough.

We'll definitely eat again at silantro. Maybe try the Kapitolyo branch. And definitely order the beef nachos again and try other items on the menu.

Ever had those days where you just crave for anything that's crunchy, cheesy and hella good? Silantro is the best option. Yung tipong yung craving mo for mexican food is pang-lasing levels pero hindi ka naman talaga lasing lol

We had Beef Nachos, Papi's Fritos and one order of Medio which consist of 2 Hard Tacos with Pork as the meat. Sulit na sulit for 2 persons with the most intense craving without the beer. Lol

Had an early lunch at Silantro and ordered their Beef Nachos and Silantro Quesadilla. I think their service has improved as my order and the bill arrived fast. As for the food, still affordable and generous! I hope they open more branches soon.

Late post!

Wasn't able to take photos of the other things we ordered since I was so hungry and I just went on to eat lol

We ordered Nachos, both the beef one and the regular one. My sisters and my parents split the beef one while I had the regular one all to myself. Hehehe. When in Silantro, all I need are those nachos and I'm good. Such a tasty snack. Goes well with the sauces they serve so don't be shy to ask for refills.

My sister ordered the Silantro's Quesadillas. To be honest, I'm not fan of the quesadillas. Too creamy and it felt more like eating lasagna.

We also had the Pork Ribs to share. This was just so-so. Barely had any meat. The Caliente Wings were just okay when it comes to flavor. Plus points for the size of the wings tho.

Finally tried Silantro while on our way to Pangasinan (Cavite to QC to NLEX) arrived around lunch time on a Saturday and the place was packed. We were 4th on the waitlist so we didnt mind waiting a bit. We were seated about after 15 minutes. Food were served fast because they already took our order while we were still waiting for our seats. The beef nachos were humungous. Loved that they didnt scrimped on the toppings. My soft tacos with 3 kinds of meat were savoury though it was a bit salty. It was also super filling. Good thing i ordered only 1. Haha! Hubby ordered burrito and he liked it as well. He was only able to eat half of it because he was already full half way! Service was a bit slow but it was understandable because of the full diners. Price was surprisingly cheap and i cant wait to go back :D

Had a quick lunch here the other day and I was pretty surprised that it wasn't as packed as it usually is.

Silantro, for me, has always been value for me. My friend and I split an order of Nachos, which is something I always order whenever I eat here. Really big serving, generous toppings, and really, really good.

I also had the Lucha Tacos, which you can have either with hard tacos or soft tacos. You get to pick up to three different kinds of meat. I went for the soft tacos with oxtail, beef, and pork. Again, really generous serving. The meat topping's really flavorful and tender. One soft taco might not seem much but it's actually really filling. And at Php110, sulit!

I remember having their cheese quesadilla more than a year ago and told myself I have to come back for it. This time around, however, it wasn't as good as I expected. I remember the cheese being creamy with just enough sharpness to balance, but now the cheese was too salty. I couldn't finish the whole dish. Maybe they changed it to a sharper cheddar? Whatever they did, I want the old cheese quesadilla back! 128557
