My bosses from Australia hired me to be their tour-guide for a day in Tagaytay. Since I was a bit worried that they might be picky, I chose one of the fanciest restaurants in Twin Lakes - the Silver Bucket. Actually, it was also my first time to go to Twin Lakes though I've been to Tagaytay for hundreds of times.

Silver Bucket is a seafood dining resto in Tagaytay. The interior design is modern and fresh, perfect for family gatherings or even romantic dining. We occupied the alfresco area because Aussies love the sun so much (though it was really cloudy that time). We also wanted to see the Taal Volcano that's why we chose to dine outside.

The Plank (P3,995)
Our boss ordered the group menu for the four of us. The Plank is consists of Chicken Wings Honey Sauce, Firecracker Prawns, Chicken Inasal, Steamed Fish with Lime Juice, Mixed Seafood Half Portion, Crispy Fish Fillet, Pork Ribs, and Mariscos Paella. All of them were really good but seafoods were really my favorite as well as the smoky taste of Pork Ribs. They were perfect with the Mariscos Paella! My boss like the Steamed Fish with Lime Juice. It was juicy and gingery, a little bland because it was steam, but I think healthy. The Plank is actually good for 8-10 pax but we almost consumed the entire plank.

Apple Cucumber (P100)
This drink was too sweet but refreshingly good. I had to add water because I might get diabetes.

Twin Lakes is becoming quite popular with tourist. The location of this restaurant is totally accesible. The ambiance is homey and modern. Just be careful with the stairs, they're too slippery. Comfort room was really smelly when we got there. Good thing, we were outside.

128079 SERVICE
Service was too slow. It was too embarrasing to my foreigner bosses because they were famished when we arrived and we had to wait for an hour to get our food served.

Very intimate and relaxed. We ordered chicken chowder, pesto pasta, Kung pao, and paella valenciana! 127811128077128077128077

Liked their seafood bucket! They provide bibs and plastic gloves to keep you clean. 128512 Their salad and pasta carbonara was OK. Dessert was good too! Cheesecake and brownie ala mode. Good service!
