Metamorphosis.  Franz Kafka.  One of the best books I've read.  The story is about a traveling salesman, Gregor Samsa, waking to find himself transformed (metamorphosed) into a large, monstrous insect-like creature.  Kafka never revealed the reason for the transformation.

Halt.  I aint gonna talk about Kafka.  I am gonna talk about my visit at the Butterfly Garden.  When we were kids,  science class discussed the life cycle of a butterfly.

The butterfly and moth develop through a process called metamorphosis. This is a Greek word that means transformation or change in shape.  Insects have two common types of metamorphosis. Grasshoppers, crickets, dragonflies, and cockroaches have incomplete metamorphosis. The young (called a nymph) usually look like small adults but without the wings.

Butterflies, moths, beetles, flies and bees have complete metamorphosis. The young (called a larva instead of a nymph) is very different from the adults. It also usually eats different types of food.

There are four stages in the metamorphosis of butterflies and moths: egg, larva, pupa, and adult.

The butterfly garden is one of the tourist destinations in Bohol.  It's a garden filled with butterfly paraphernalia.  Dead ones are framed for visitors to ogle at.  Live ones are elusive.  Various flora and fauna.  There is a special section for brave ones to touch the catterpillar,  nope they are not itchy (born and bred in Bohol not in Makati 128512)

This was one of the sites i enjoyed during my city tour in bohol. This butterfly garden is also known as habitat. At first i thought this will just be seeing butterflies and taking pictures.

When you enter the conservatory, wait for a tour guide to enjoy the whole tour experience. The tour guides are comedians and will make most of the tour fun and worth the experience. The tour will take quite a while though as they will explain to you different facts about butterflies in a fun way, there are also fun pictorials which they will make you try and instruct you poses to do and they will take your pictures and there is also a delicious ice candy ice cream with different/unique flavours you can try at the plaza which according to our guide is being made by them.

Btw, you can touch some of the caterpillars and butterflies here but ask assistance from the guide to know how to hold them.

I have always had a thing with butterflies that's why I'm giving this review 5 stars haha! Also, tour guides are really funny! You won't get bored the whole tour, I swear. My first time din to witness the whole butterfly cycle
Ang naalala ko kase sa mga past butterfly gardens na napuntahan ko, butterfly na siya kaagad ganon haha! I mean, di katulad dito na pinapakita yung buong process 128524
I learned frm here din na it's possible pala for a butterfly to be a boy and a girl at the same time. It's so amazing kase pag ganon, magkaiba yung kulay ng pakpak 128525
Learned a lot abt butterflies here than in my Zoology class haha! 128077

I rate this as 4 star because I become a butterfly! 127802 HA! 128074

Aside from the famous starfish lifting effect, there's also a butterfly effect where you instantly can be a butterfly! Hahaha! 128513

There's a minimal entrance of around 30 pesos? Then you'll be guided in the sanctuary with their staff. I learned a lot of things from that 30 minutes tour! The staff were really knowledgable with the butterflies. Framed pictures of the butterfly was hanging on the walls, and lots of flying butterflies everywhere. 128517

The staffs was really game regarding the entire tour. They are even the one whose asking us to interact with the creatures and asking us to strike a pose. 128513

*selfie mode again. 1285639996
