This has been my go-to place to eat ever since I arrived here in Q.C. Their meals are pretty oily, even the sinangag, but they're good so I'm willing to overlook that fact.128523

So far, I've only tried their liempo and bagnet. Their liempo is at P75 while the bagnet is P100++ with unlimited rice.

Their liempo is good. I love it and I think for its price, it's sulit. Another thing than I really like about this place is their special iced tea. Yum.

As for the bagnet, at first, I had no idea what it was. When they finally served it on my table, I was like, so bagnet is just lechon kawali? Lol. I don't know. We call it lechon kawali at home and it does taste like one. I like it too but it's much pricier so I often just settle for the liempo.

When I'm hungry and I can't decide where to eat, I always end up here.

Nothing special. Just plain ol' silog. Of course it is budget friendly. 128513

"Tara, SEx tayo!" This is what my co-Knollers usually say when one invites another. But, parting myself from (what I think) a huge number of people who fan this eatery, I'm not usually satisfied.

The tapa is GOOD. Really good. But the meal, or any other meal, just wouldn't make me busog. Huhu. Ang sad sobra palagi. When my blockmates decide to eat here, I get so sad cause I know I wouldn't be satisfied in the end. I have to order 2 meals which is too much naman. So you see, the place confuses me 128557 I think it's the rice. It's only half-a-cup for those who don't know 128515

Also, for the nth time I've visited them, my first choice would always be not available (chixsilog, hotsilog, etc..) It's like the only thing that's always available is Tapsilog and Tocilog.

The staff also looks always badtrip. Maybe the kitchen is hot but that doesn't mean they have to be so sungit. 128554

Overall, the price pays for the taste of the tapa. But for the whole meal itself, 75 Php just doesn't cut it. More like 65 Php pa. 128515

(The photo came from the article I wrote for them 128514)

food is great and easy on the wallet, service needs a little bit improvement though.

After yearsss, finally tried it again. 128522 But was quite disappointed with the serving. Paunti ng paunti. 128532 Madami kasi ata kaming nag order. Haha. 128517 Ordered my fave tapsilog. Plus my sawsawan: suka with ketchup. 128522128539 Doesn't sound good? 128539 hehe. But try it! Tastes good! Promise. 128513
Tapsilog for Php70 and their 'special' iced tea for Php25. I wonder what made it special. 128539
Downside tho was their straw. Eeek. 128533 Not clean. 128078

The amount of tapa served was measly considering its price. I've been to their Malugay and Lasalle branches and would always go home satisfied. However, the service was efficient and the crew were polite.

Serving sizes are becoming smaller and smaller at the same P70 price. Service water isn't even free anymore. You now have to buy bottled water for P20, which is not bad. But it's a downer that their serving sizes now is so ridiculously small that you find yourself ordering another one.

They forgot my order and when they finally remembered, they forgot I asked for a scrambled egg. Turned out they switched it with another person's order. So nag-offer yung server na ipagpalit na lang. So pinagpalit. Eh nagalaw na nung isang ateng customer yung food. I was like WTFFFF seriously?

Dining places rarely piss me off. I'm one of those low-maintenance customers (hey, I gave a 5-star review to Ate Fe's, that says a lot) so that gives a clue as to how bad the service was. They didn't even apologize. I regret ever thinking at one point that they were better than Rodic's. ULK. Never again.

Errr, their servings are small. At least they have the authentic Vigan and Lucban longganisa. For a meal worth Php 99, this is not worth it.

Still has that great tasting addicting Tapsilog
I love! Kind of sucks though that you have to pay for water now. I think its pretty cheap of them that they don't have service water anymore. Not to mention they add P10 if you want to take out the food inside a paper plate container. The price for most Silogs are P70. What annoys me a bit is their very small servings of the actual meat. Their tapsilog is extremely oily so its definitely not for health conscious people.
