Had the BEST corned beef in 2010. Terrible now; dry and boring. Sashimi came out an HOUR after I started eating. The siomai I enjoyed was never restocked when I came back for more. Juice was watered down. Lighting was poor. Music wasn't turned on until well into my meal. If restaurant is not ready to open, they shouldn't let people in to give them a subpar experience. UGH THAT CORNED BEEF THOUGH. That was my SHIT when I first got here to the Philippines. This place has nothing special now. Sweet staff, though. Always smiling.

One thing I love about hotel bakeries almost all of them have that 50% off promo at 6pm. I bought their huge chocolate croissants for only 45.00 each and I stocked a lot of them. Make sure to go early to get dibs and go on weekdays to make sure there will be less people in the hotel.

Very delicious chocolates with different interesting flavors! The chocolates are also creatively crafted that they seem too precious to be devoured at an instant. Plus the packaging is perfect 128156128077 This could be a boy's perfect present for his special someone 9786️ Go buy now and make someone feel extra special!

It was just few years back that Shang Makati dedicated a space for their pastries (including the smiley cakes). I would often just pass by that area to get the usual hotel pastries. Then , they added other confectionary delectation. Included in the tempting arrays are more sophy bread and a few pralines. They became more aggressive in terms of expanding Sinfully to an offsite location at Greenbelt 5. Sinfully, named such because you become when you eat any of their "sinful" calorie-loaded delectables (pralines, more bread, pastries and macarons).
This is my first time to go to Sinfully Greenbelt 5, it could be more entertaining here because you can watch and observe how they meticulously make chocolate covered smooth, sweet substance made by boiling nuts in sugar and grinding the mixture.
Hubby bought us a box of their top 10 best-seller pralines (a lot get confused on how it is pronounced, but the local and proper way to say it is "prah-lean", though the French say it's prah-li-nay, but the English and Belgians say it's pray-leen and praw-leen in New Orleans)-✴nice to know✴
The Top Ten are:
Capuccino cream rolled in croquant (ball of minced nuts
Pistachio cream and choco ganache - too rich and too chocolatey for me
Mango passion cream rolled in feuilletine (something crunchy)
Dark choco w/apricot flavor- i dont like bieer/dark choco
White choco with strawberry cream - I am biased because I like whit chocolates-128077128077
Almond flavored cream in milk choco
Coffee flavor in dark choco
Caramel au sale-who diesn't like salted caramel - i like this too-128077128077
Gianduja-milk choco flavored with hazelnut-128077
Dulce de leche in white choco -128077
My apologies for the ling post - I happen to be in my O.C. Mode
Have a nice day everyone 128515

Still the best buffet (quality) in the country, or probably the best buffet of any Shangri-la in region. But the crayfish is always a challenge. They should consider changing it with crabs.

Surprising , now let me just say that it's quite good and you won't find a bad dish in sight. However it's not quite as good as other buffets in town. It suffers by comparison to spiral and others, heck inagiku buffet is much better by an order of magnitude
