Shrimp Curry (P320) is a must try!!! It's really super good and I liked the authentic taste of the curry! Hindi pinilit, sarap talaga!
It's also a big plusplus that the waiters were very friendly and accommodating!!! We followed up for our order not bec it was matagal but bec we were just hungry and 1 minute's already loooong. But anyway, the waiters were very apologetic and we felt the sincerity (hindi yung nagsusungit pa, wala naman sa lugar hehe).

I did not have the chance to try other dishes in Sinugba sa Balay but I highly recommend this place in Coron 9786

The chicken mee-goreng is so addictive that I had to go back to order it again.

Sinugba sa Balay is mentioned in different blogs being the best restaurant in Coron.

The place has a laidback beach hut setting with reggae music playing. The place has options from filipino - thai - american dishes.

-the shrimp was fresh and the curry was very bold and spicy. It was like eating curry in Thailand.

-it's not the exact name of the dish. This noodle dish is almost similat to a spicy yakisoba with pork strips on top. Two thumbs up for this!

-a weird combination but uber refreshing! The perfect drink.

Think of the place as a local dampa, where they prepare the menu differently depending on what's fresh from sea port.

We tried a local fish dish called fried kapunting and it was good! The native local salad is just cucumber and tomato with salted egg, so don't be surprised.

Selection of grilled seafood is available, and they surprisingly cater for a lot of foreign guests too with cheeseburgers, mee-goreng, etc.

I guess a little expensive for locals, but affordable for most tourists.

Best meal i had in Coron! They have different menu for seafood everyday depending on what the owner can get in the early morning at the market its really fresh. Have it grilled, fried, or sigang. We ordered a big fish and grilled just right for only 300. The Sarabasab (grilled pork with kinilaw sauce) is a superb beer match. Will surely come back here.
