Been wanting to go to this place for sometime already but never had the chance until now AND CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK AGAIN!!! 10084

Me and my friend went for their 2-4pm session and since it is just the two of us, our teacher Cheka decided it should be an open house - meaning we can decide what to paint! I chose a Starry Starry Night Tour Eiffel Version haha and also decided that everything should be on the shade of blue and the teacher was nice enough to guide me all the way.

While painting they served us a glass of white wine and a plate of cold cuts and cheese 🧀127863 feeling so ~artsy~ even though I'm not naturally artistic haha.

We finished at around 5pm - one hour overtime but there's no extra charge. To say that I am bitin is quite underrated! 1108811088110881108811088

I've heard about Sip and Gogh for a while, but I never had the chance to go there myself until tonight! Sip and Gogh is literally an art cafe; you paint from reference paintings they have inside, and you're provided with drinks and snacks. Drinks include sodas, iced tea, beer, or wine, and the food is a simple plate of cheese, crackers, meat, and grapes. The place is well lit, and spacious enough. Before painting, you're provided with an apron to help stay clean. You pick a reference painting to “copy” from around the store. I use copy loosely here because you’re still free to interpret the paintings as you like. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They also "teach" you how to paint, and help you mix your paints.Overall, I found Sip and Gogh to be a great experience. And I got to paint again! I'm sure I'm going to end up here (again) with my family in the near future.#12Days

If you're looking for a fun activity with your barkada or a new thing to try out with your special someone, then Sip & Gogh is a must try.

They have different sessions per day and on the APEC week we decided to reserve slots. On our schedule, they had their open session where you can choose a painting you like, or a sample photo, and they will teach you step by step on what to do - what colors to mix, what brush strokes and techniques to use. The teacher on this day is a roving teacher but it's okay to ask questions whenever you're lost.

It was a fun activity. The wine and the snacks were quite good and they keep away hunger since each session is 3 hours long.

I won't post my artwork here for the main reason being that we got there way too late and basically didn't have time to work better on our art. Yes, panget siya hahaha However, props to the staff who still did their best in instructing us and for accommodating us. I really wish we didn't got stuck in traffic but had I known this was located at the ends of the earth from where we were coming from, I would've allotted an extra day for traveling! Lol! Out of town pala itey! 128517 I really enjoyed my time here and the experience is very fulfilling and memorable. The drinks we had were good too, if only I had something for lunch I would have opted for the wine. One thing I hope they'd improve on though is the materials, like the brushes. I hope they can provide better ones and inform even late comers that they can request for more or specific types of brushes. I only found out there were other brushes after the session kasi and I was really disappointed since I had a messed up brush. Partly I'm blaming the brush for my "unappealing" work lol anyway, if they'r branch out soon and somewhere closer, I'm sure to try this over again!!!

My friends and I were starting to feel work-related burnout so we decided to have more detox activities during the weekends. A painting session was one of them, and since I've heard about Sip and Gogh from friends, it's a go. Good thing my friends were game. 128514

They have different sessions and even bring sessions to malls such as the Podium. We got their Open Session where you get to choose any painting you'd like to replicate and start squeezing out your creative juices, if non-existent. Like me. 128521

I chose the Koi just because it looks awesome. Little did I know it's quite difficult and time-consuming to paint 128514 My OC self had a lot of turmoil during the first few minutes of the session. Hahaha! Perfectionist! And you see that the original painting is quite messy, so imagine an OC person's dilemma. Good thing the instructor assigned to us was patient with my never ending questions "tama ba to?", "ganito ba?!", "paano 'to? waaaah!" 128557128557128514128514

So after more than an hour of painting, there goes my output 127881127881 Really enjoyed this first time experience and we want to do it again.

They also served drinks and snacks. You can choose from juices, cocktails, wines, etc. I got their red wine. They gave us slices of salami, cheese, and some bread and grapes. They were all good. 128512

Each session is priced at 1000php and you can book a session online and pay using credit card. I think it was really worth it! 128079🏻128077🏻

Sorry i got no other photo :)
Well, everyone CAN paint! Here at Sip and Gogh you will have to choose what picture you want to paint. Then you will be given your working canvass and provide you paint and the brushes. They will teach you step by step on how to paint your chosen painting.

Included in the package your choice of drink and snack. I chose red wine. (Well i have a high tolerance for alcohol.) love their pica pica as well--biscuits with olives, cheese, grapes, cured ham (was it?) :) i was just a bit of worried about my food because paint contaminated water (for your brush washing) is just beside the food. Well, you can tolerate to have intake of paint once in a while. Haha

When was the last time you did something for the first time? 9786

That question comes up a lot, but the duwag in me actually inhibits myself from doing thrilling activities!

I have wanted to go to Sip & Gogh for a looooooong time but I did not have anyone to go with. I really did not want to go alone, so I took the opportunity to go when my cousins came home from the States and Canada. (Balikbayan series ang reviews ko hahaha!) It was a great bonding session for us.

We signed up for their Open Session wherein you can choose a painting that you could copy, or you could paint whatever you want. You can also check the calendar on their website for their schedule. They have specific dates and time for specific paintings.

For 1000 per person, I think this is really sulit. You have snacks, plus you can choose if you want juice, soda, or red/white wine. Instructors go around to guide you through the process, and they are not intimidating at all. I keep hearing them say that it's okay if it's not perfect, because it wouldn't look real if it's too perfect. Our instructor kept telling me that it's okay to go beyond the supposed lines. There goes my control issues. HAHAHA!128517

The place could probably house 30 people, but it can get quite cramped. I didn't mind it though. There is ample parking space too, and it's free! 128588🏻

I could say that this was one of the best 2 hours of my life. It was 2 pure hours of NOT thinking of anything, and it was quite refreshing. I may pick up painting for a hobby. I still believe that I have this artistic side. It's taking me a long time to discover it though! Hahaha! Would you guys know a place that teaches basic painting?

Tip from Chichi T: go early so you have first dibs on a painting you want to copy!

P.S. There's a cute instructor!!!! 128521

One of a kind experience and a perfect anniversary gift for my Nicholas S 10084

We both loved and enjoyed painting in this artsy place! 128525

The artists were very friendly and sweet! They would really help you finish your own masterpiece 128521

They served us fruit drinks with small snack (canapés, cheese, salami with olive and grapes)

I really recommend this place to everyone! Artsy place to relax and have some fun 128077

Thank you Beatrice N for recommending me this place 128536

Woohoo! My very first painting everrrr!

I call it "Snowie" named after my dog. There were a lot of paintings to choose from but I decided to go with that because I thought it was the easiest, but to me... not really.

We had our team building here last month. It was a simple event for a small team where you get to choose your own painting from the gallery or you can make your own.

All materials were provided (use of easels, brushes, aprons, palette, acrylic paint etc.) with complimentary drinks and snacks, and step by step painting instructions from the artists (there were 4-5 artists that goes around just in case we needed any help).

First a first timer like me, I really had a lot of fun!

And yes, I shall return! 127912

I want to go back so bad! Place was great and conducive for painting. I got the date2create package and it was soooo worth it. Appetizers and drinks were inclusive already. My boyfriend and I decided to paint each other and really enjoyed the bonding experience. The staff will guide you and even sketch for you if you're not so talented hehehe! You get to reveal each other's paintings after both have finished 128523

Overall, awesome unique place with "Sulit" packages and very friendly staff!

Tried something new last week for our gift for the dad 12810410084

We went to Capitol Greenstreet to drop my sister off at an event happening there. While walking around, we passed by Sip & Gogh, this sip and paint studio I've always wanted to try but couldn't since it was costly for a student like me! (It's Php 1000, inclusive of snacks, drinks, and a painting experience.)

✔️ The concept of the place is very unique: you sip and munch on your food and drink while painting in a paint studio. Made me feel like Picasso! 128514 note that you do not need any painting experience beforehand whatsoever. Amateurs (like me!) are very much appreciated. 127881

✔️ The paint teachers were hands-on in guiding you through the painting process. 128077 Every session offers a painting that the students should be able to copy. But we requested if we could do something else, a portrait of the dad, instead of doing the session. They quickly said that it was okay and that they'd help us with it. 128079

✔️ The snacks were appetizer snacks: 3 slices of cold ham, pieces of olives, grapes, cheese slices and crackers with spreads. I thought, this is it? These won't fill me up! But when you start painting, you wouldn't even mind eating! I was able to touch the snacks only after I painted! And, to my surprise, the food offered was actually more than enough! I didn't feel hungry afterwards. 128514128077

Basically, my experience at Sip & Gogh was amazing. It was different! And most of all, they gave me the chance to surprise my dad with a unique gift for Father's Day! 128149128077 will surely go back when I have the funds lol

Round 2!

I painted another Van Gogh titled Wheat Fields with Cypress Trees. I was copying this off of my phone and the teachers were kind enough to help me get the right colors. Since it was basically the same style as Starry Night, I was already familiar with applying the brush strokes to get the same effect.

It was really fun and relaxing activity for me. This activity is recommended to those who want to be creative and spend an afternoon (or night) making something nice. :)

Yes, that's right. This is a photo of my award-winning masterpiece. Bidding starts at P10,000. Any takers?

Going once... Going twice... No?

In hindsight, I think my officemates just let me win our company painting teambuilding contest because my birthday is coming up 128541

I really didn't expect my left-brained self would enjoy this artsy activity, but I had so much fun thanks to our extra patient instructor who didn't seem to mind our OC concerns (Hai Celine J!) like "Kuyaaa bakit hindi pa din pantay??"

It's supposedly Sip and Gogh but I was too competitive - I mean, busy channeling my inner Gogh - that I completely forgot to sip! Might be better to have the drinks and food served before or after the actual painting activity so you can roam around the gallery to admire the award-winning artworks (ehem!) while holding a glass of wine? Fancy, eh?

Aside from having this place as a venue for an unusual company teambuilding event, you can also bring your special someone here for a painting date. Who needs couple shirts when you can make your own couple painting, right?

Or you can go by yourself, not judging. You probably had a long day, gotta let those deep dark emotions out on canvas. Let it Gogh, let it Gogh... 127926

Super super super wanted to try this when I first heard of it. I was supposed to go last April but the Starry Night (one of my favorite paintings by my favorite artist) session has already passed. So I waited until the next one (last night) and decided to go. You can check their website for the schedule of their painting sessions so you can plan ahead.

For 1200, you get a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), tapas (cold cuts and cheese) and a blank canvass. The paint they use is acrylic, which is easy to remove from your skin plus it dries faster than oil paint.

I have very little experience in painting. I used to enjoy it as a hobby when I was a kid, but I never really learned the basics or had formal education (unless you count art classes in school). I really had fun doing this, I wish I've done this before. The instructors were really helpful and it was a great way to spend your Saturday night -- a bit of alcohol plus a whole lot of art.

I'm not a big art fan, for the sole reason that I can't paint/draw to save my life. Which is why I was sooooo surprised when the boyfriend decided to bring me to Sip & Gogh for our anniversary!

What I loved about Sip & Gogh is that they encourage their guests not to be intimidated when given the opportunity to unleash your inner/hidden/nonexistent Van Gogh. For a fee, you get to paint, sip wine (or any beverage of your choice), and eat tapas. The great thing about it is that they provide you the materials (canvass, brushes, paint, your drink and snacks) and you're off to your own artsy adventure!

They also have instructors who guide you when you're not feeling very confident about your work. They teach you basic brush strokes and blending techniques, which were very helpful! Aside from that, those guys are so perky! They can talk about ANYTHING with you while you paint :)

This place is highly recommended for art fans, or those who just want to try something new. I think it's a GREAT first/anniversary date place :)

Ive always been an art enthusiast and Im the type of person who's willing to try new things and explore new places.

Sip and Gogh is a "paint and sip place" where you can bond with your friends and family. In my case, I needed a "me-time" that's why I went there alone. Haha

Intensive painting session indeed, the instructors will help you create the image you want. Need not to worry if you dont know anything about painting, that's the reason why the instructors are there :p

Paid 1,300 for the canvass, paint, one round of four seasons plus grapes and some cheese. :) Quite expensive but it's a great art therapy.

The idea is to paint and have wine while you're trying to be the next Van Gogh, Klimt, Matisse, etc. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did because I have zero painting skills but it was a really cool experience!

So we trekked to Capitol Hills on a rainy Saturday morning and found the place (near Stacy's, the baby shower place du jour). The staff were very accommodating and nice...and they're all quite young too and seemed like the artsy college kid type who just wanted to have a part-time job. We were led to our spots and they asked us to pick a painting we want to replicate. You can think of what you want to paint but for those w/o any actual painting experience, they recommend having something to pattern it after. We selected the easiest ones and went for it.

They would check in on us once in a while to give tips and teach you how to blend the colors, etc. For faster drying, they'd also blow dry the paint for you.

A session costs 1,000 and you get a small plate of cheese, cold cuts, pate, grapes, etc. and your choice of drinks. I had merlot to go with mine and if you opt for wine, the price goes up to 1,200 which isn't so bad. The wine was decent, not the cheapo variety so you won't really feel bad for shelling out an extra 200. You can also order another glass if you wish.

The place was about 85% full so I think a lot of people also thought of trying something new out. I was quite shy at first because I have zero artistic abilities but apparently, I'm not the only one...everyone else were beginners I think! There were a couple of guests who walked in to inquire too.

We had an 8-year old with us and she enjoyed painting. This is for kids and adults alike. According to the staff, kids are most welcome and they don't really have an age requirement as long as they can hold a brush and paint. 128522 I highly recommend the place! In fact, I can't wait to take my godchildren here!

We wanted to do something special and different for our mom's birthday. My sister heard of this place where you can just relax and paint. My mom used to go to this place in bonaventure near greenhills to paint ceramics so we thought maybe she'd like this new place.

It is called Sip & Gogh located in Capitol Greenstreet. It was a wonderful experience! First they let you choose a painting that you would want to do and they help you do it. After looking at their pictures on facebook, i thought they had a "paint by numbers" thing since ALL of the creations look amazing. Surprise, surprise! You do it all by yourself...freehand. That picture of Starry Night? I made that! Who would've thought that i could?? They have artists who guide you and give you tips. They're very patient and nurturing. Very, very patient...haha!

Plus, the session comes with a drink and a snack...and i don't mean chips...cheese and cold cuts with grapes, bread and pate...to go nicely with your drink (which may be wine or just juice or even coffee).

This was an awesome experience in a very beautiful and unique place. I definitely want to come back for another session! And most importantly, my mom loved it, too! Thanks, Sip & Gogh for making my mom's birthday so memorable!
