*Late Post*

I ordered Sizzling Beef Rice (on the photo) while my brother ordered Sizzling Pork BBQ Rice for our lunch, one late afternoon.

Verdict: It's a little gummy, but it's flavorful. Too much meat fat to the point where I didn't get to eat half of the serving on my plate. 128528 I liked their sauce, though.

Anyhow, my brother's food was undercooked. The BBQ sauce didn't taste good either. Hence, he didn't finish his food.

3 stars, only because the servers were nice, but I don't think I'll ever be back here. 128528

As an avid supporter of Sizzlin' Steak (formerly Sizzlin' Pepper Steak), the most important thing that keeps me coming back to the restaurant is the freshness and temperature of my food. Normally, I take several shots of my food before grabbing my spoon and fork to start eating. With that said, my food on a non-sizzling plate gets cold easily. It's not the restaurant's fault ok? It's my fault. But at Sizzlin' Steak, it doesn't matter if I take my time shooting the dishes. The hot temperature remains and keeps my food warm and fresh.

The Food:
Beef Kimchi Rice - I couldn't tolerate Kimchi. That was a big no no to me back when I was in my teen years. And so I thought that kind of mentality about Kimchi would last until today. Slowly but surely, I'm beginning to have a taste for Kimchi. Sizzlin' Steak's Beef Kimchi Rice brought more life to this korean dish. Keeping the tradition of eating dishes on a hot sizzling plate, Beef Kimchi Rice juiced out more of its flavors while in the middle of the sizzling heated plate.

Sizzlin Pasta - It's new for me to get a plate of Sizzlin' Pasta. Same concept like any other main dish at Sizzlin' Steak, wherein the noodles and meat are placed on an extremely hot plate that you wouldn't dare to touch with your bare fingers.

From the way it was served, I ate the pasta bare without any sauce. After three bites, I found out I could pour on their in-house sauces for additional seasoning. You could choose from the following: Sizzlin' Steak sauce, gravy, teriyaki, teri-mayo or white sauce. My sweet buds led me to pouring over teriyaki sauce for my pasta with chicken meat. Without any sauce, the sizzling chicken meat gave enough flavor to the whole plate.

Me and boyfie is always passing through in front of this restaurant and yet we still haven't dined here. we always see many people dining here, crowding the food court with hot sizzling plates of theirs. so we decided to have this after THORing! lol

The person on desk was very helpful with what we could enjoy from them. of course it comes with the name, boyfie had the beef pepper steak and I had the pork version of it. the order came fast, yet it came raw. don't worry, they meant it that way. the twist was flipping the meats on the other side so the raw part would be cooked by the hot plate and pouring the sauce once you feel like it's already cooked.

at first I was concerned on having my meat raw but am glad it didn't came out that way. the meat was perfectly cooked but then the concern went to the rice, it was burnt on the bottom so there were a bunch of rice wasted. the corns really come well with the meat and the sauce, it actually gave a good sweet twist and a balanced sweetness with the meat.

and another thing was, I had a hard time eating my food especially with a burnt tongue. 128541 128168 I blew my ass off with every spoon i had to chew. peeeeew!

Honestly, I love this food place as in in love with it!!!! I'd-eat-here-everyday kinda love... But then after months of not eating here and finally ordering my usual. Sad to say their serving of ulam became so much smaller now.

Maybe they're just cost cutting with how prices are going up these days. HAHA

But, the usual is still the best: Chicken pepper steak with rice. Booyah!

Quite disappointed on their Tenderloin Steak. Although it didn't taste bad - 'twas actually pretty good - the size was really far from what I expected. 128528 Eeh. Not worth it. Just go for their Gyuniku.

The pork curry pepper rice used to be my favorite but now i don't know why it was just okay for me. The rice was also dry, i hope it won't be like this next time.

I love Steak. Especially Tenderloin and Rib-eye. I'm a self-proclaimed Steak lover and I'm always on the look out for restaurants which have these delicious goodies on their menus.

Sizzling Pepper Steak, obviously, is one of those restaurants. I ordered the Tenderloin Steak and requested for it to be Medium Rare, just the way I like it. The cashier said okay, so i thought they could do it.

When the steak reached my table, it was still sizzling on its plate. I took a picture (like I always do before every single meal of my life. Haha!) and quickly poured the sauce. I ran my knife through it and juices slowly escaped the meat. I ate a piece and discovered, quite disappointingly, that it was done Medium rather than Medium Rare.

It still tasted good, though I'm a little bummed because they agreed to my request but didn't fulfill it.

Price range: 200 and up

I was really disappointed with their Bacon and Egg Hamburg. I ordered it because of the bacon. The bacon strips were okay but the hamburg was awful. 128532
