I rated this with 5stars because food and ambiance are perfect! The menu was well thought of and you can choose to eat their foreign menu or our Heritage food with modern fusion. We ordered the famous Bistek Bulalo. The fusion of these two filipino dish was scrumptious.hence i can't even describe it. We also got the Bagnet cooked with sinigang.they actually have choices if you want it cooked on pakbet, binagoongan or sinigang.128525 We paired it with a bottle of red New Zealand Pinot Noir.

I only suggest that maybe they can add more lights that aren't directing towards your eyes.though we didn't get those seats but we did see it.

But over all it was great!and they surprised us with a cake before we left.:) they remembered it was our 4year anniversary.:)

Arrived here around 1030pm and it took us around 15-20mins to be seated. Served us 2 incorrect orders (post before is spot-on correct), no receptionist around, your kili-kili will have insect bites na because of the lamok and the really bad/blind service. Or maybe that's their thing? Bulag-bulagan. Huhu. Walang tissue, walang tubig, walang server.

Service is awful, heartbreaking, devastating, earth-shaking, Mt. Pinatubo-1990-eruption-level tragedy.

Lord. Please. I pray for the service. Please. Or isama mo po katawan nila sa walls ng Intramuros. Nakakasira po ng gabi. :(

Oh. 35 mins have passed since I started typing this and we're still waiting for our calamari to arrive. It took me that long to type something this short because I had to edit all the disappointment I have.

I liked the ambience of the place as it was a good hangout after work. It was an open space area so you can see Manila and stargaze at the same time. The food was just okay. Do order the bagnet. The skin was really crunchy and the veggies were cooked in pinakbet style. Yum yum! :)
They need also to improve on their service
A) water served will take more than 5 minutes :(
B) they served incorrect orders at least twice. They gave us a pineapple shake and churros which we didn't order
Nevertheless, we still enjoyed dining here. But i do hope that they will improve their service

Sky Deck View Bar is a restaurant at the roof deck of the Bayleaf at Intramuros. My roommate is a frequent customer of the hotel and so we decided to have a girls' night out at the restaurant. The view was so pretty!!! Unfortunately, we were late to watch the sunset. (Fine, it was my fault for having a hard time choosing what to wear!)

I love their carbonara! Their pizza was also okay but I've had better ones. The nachos has too much onions! Maybe because I hate onions that's why I noticed it or maybe there's really a lot of them haha! For the price, it was cheap to think that it is a restaurant at a roof deck of a hotel in Intramuros! I mean, come on! Intramuros is like one of the prettiest places in Manila. Im expecting less from the restaurant since others said that they are not consistent with their food. But I enjoyed it. And I really enjoyed the place!

Tip: Be at the restaurant at least 30minutes before sunset!

We dined here on our 7th Anniversary and I can say that it's worth it. We loved the food and Bayleaf gave us a wonderful service. Though we haven't tried their buffet, we were satisfied with the food we ordered on their menu. We ordered Shrimp and Chorizo pasta, Truffled Fries (our favorite!), Sole Fish Chorizo (i love the taste of the squid ink risotto) and Pizza Alla Pescatora (assorted seafod pizza) from Raffaele Woodfired Pizza menu. Bayleaf is by far, the tallest building inside Intramuros. We were able to watch the sunset and 360° view of Manila from the Sky deck. And if you're lucky like us, and there's an event nearby, you could also watch some fireworks display 128522

A great place to unwind after roaming around Intramuros. For just a little over 500 bucks, I got a buffet treat at The Bayleaf's roof deck.

I feasted my eyes with the Manila's skyline and, of course, the sunset at the Manila bay.

The ambience is also very well relaxing. After sundown, a band will serenade its customers.

One of Manila's best kept secret is the rooftop Skydeck in Bayleaf Hotel in Intramuros. Best time to go is just before sunset. This place offers the rare view of both Intramuros and the Manila Bay. If you have foreign visitors or you are in the area attending a wedding (like in my case), you can drop by, and chill out with some snacks and drinks. The truffle fries were good! What a perfect way to kill time before I headed for the dinner reception. Weather was also cool and windy at this time of the year, so it was just perfect!

As an alumna of Lyceum, I was quite proud of The Bayleaf Hotel. After 7 yrs, this is the first time I visited Bayleaf. The Interior was nice and the staff (who welcomed us) were very accommodating however those staff at the Sky Deck werent. They werent even attentive to our calls and there was even a mistake on our bill. When we got there, there was a hAppy hour promo, 50% on selected beer and cocktail drinks, but when we got our bill, the cocktails we ordered werent discounted. We also had to ask one of the staff for us to get a high chair because there wasnt enough chair on their bar where we wanted to sit. There were quite enough staff and a bit few customers at that time so for us it wasnt acceptable.

The only consolation was that the view was spectular.. too bad we werent able to view sunset.

Something different for a bar in City of Manila. Place is overlooking Manila within the walls of Intramuros. Relaxing sounds. Choice of appetizer is limited but it is a bar after all.

One of the most romantic view in the heart of Manila. It's the best spot for sunset viewing and a good chill with friends. The food is awesome, Bagnet in 4-ways is a must try. I recommend this place for dinner dates and unwinding.

Great 360degree views of Manila, reasonably priced, nice menu selections. Loved the quesong puti fondue (eat fast while its warm), kanji beef salad (good beef and tasty dressing), and the classic bagnet with pinakbet. Large servings too, good enough for sharing with 2-3 people. Go right before sunset, or even if after sunset, the views are still nice.

The sky deck has a pretty nice ambiance. The cool night wind, soft music, and nice seating area is perfect for a chill out night hangout to spend with friends. Its a bit pricey, but the food tastes good.
