Had a sumptuous dinner with a highschool batchmate coming from UK. We wanted to bring her to anything Filipino since she might have missed the food but she's a great cook so there's no way she missed Filipino food, we had Thai night instead. Had so much on our table but we were famished that I forgot to take photos for #looloo 128521128521

Good food good company. And they just renovated 128512

Ps: We went here last year. Sky Lounge by Blue Elephant is a restaurant and bar in Cebu. 127860127863127864127866127867127865But we went here because of the food. 128514128584

A very nice place, plus you got a chance to see how beautiful the city is, for it is located at the top of the Apple One Bldg, beside Ayala Malls. Forgot the name of the dishes that we ordered but we really enjoyed it. Price ranges from 300-350 per person but all consumable. Food, place and service 10/10! 128079🏻128079🏻128079🏻

Me and my boyfriend spent our first day in Cebu by exploring where to eat and where to drink, although we had an idea already where to go. Blue Elephant was on our lists since we heard it's on the 19th floor which is overlooking view. We went there during past dinner time and we got the nice spot. It was very great view, you can see the whole Cebu Business Park. It was like you're in Gramercy in Manila. Place is romantic and their lights are literally color blue. We just ordered some alcoholic drinks and some pika-pika like Calamares and Chicken something since we already ate dinner in Ayala Cebu, which is very near from Blue Elephant, we just walked like 10 mins. to get here. We were surprised the servings were big which we had to take out some. Their foods are very affordable and it was good. I recommend this place for first timers in Cebu.

Blue elephant is located at the 19th floor of apple tower one. The place starts serving at around 5-6pm. I booked for a reservation days before. They will reply to your booking confirming your reservation.

When I arrived at blue elephant, the view was breathtaking. It feels like you are in a resto on top of a building in new york but instead you are in the middle of modern cebu. The furnitures are elegant looking. And the crowd is just alright, not too noisy but not too quiet also.

The price of the food is surprisingly cheap considering the location of the restaurant. We ordered ribs, chicken wings, calamari and spaghetti. Unfortunately, they ran out of pad thai which is one of their best sellers. Serving is good for 2-3 person for me.

The only negative thing about their resto is if you eat al fresco instead of VIP, just make sure to have your table at the open area near the DJ because our table which was situated near the bar area was hot and a humid. A bit sweaty for us, I must say.

Price is somehow affordable that starts at 200 pesos and above. There is a consumable charge of 300 pesos per head. I like the food and how it is prepared. But what got me is the city view. I totally love it!

Ok so you can't get inside not unless you have a reservation. Security won't let you in to set up a reservation. So if you're there already you have to call in your reservation kasi hndi pwede Ang walk in. Crazy. Customer service is whack!!! They're boasting for it to be a VIP lounge but you're not treated like one. Guess I'm also included in that bandwagon that isn't pleased with the management.

Good food and a beautiful view. Al fresco dining was a little challenging with low light sources in some areas. It was effortful dining even with romantic and relaxing ambiance.

I suggest taking a table at the VIP lounge. You get the same view (a bit more elevated) and better lighting to enjoy your food even more. You could always take a stroll on the open area before leaving the restaurant.

You'll love this place because:
•it has an amazing view of the city (being on the19th floor and all)
•the service is pleasant, accomodating and quick (plus rhey don't mind taking your group pick, they smile a lot)
•food is filling, tasty and being Thai spicy but still yummy (which explains why I didn't have time for a decent food pic)

They have cover charge per person to discourage people just hanging out and taking up space for diners. P200 regular, P350 VIP.
