Oh, there’s nothing like a game of bowling to “throw away” all the stresses from a tough day at work. Unfortunately, we were not immediately given a lane as there was a company bowling tourney occupying 6 lanes and another group occupying 2 other lanes. Given that there were some “defective” lanes, we had to wait a bit until a “working” lane would be available.

After about 20 minutes, we were able to get our own lane. They had a snack bar there which was very convenient. Snacking while bowling, not a bad idea.

They also had some billiards tables there if you prefer hitting balls than throwing them.

All in all, a good way to end the day. That’s it, take care everyone.

I've been bugging MC to go bowling with me for the longest time and Mr. Athlete finally decided to say yes.

I realized how much of a sore loser he is - coz on the last frame he threw a ball down my alley just so I'd lose by 4 points! 128514

The place wasn't as packed as it usually is, coz it was a weekday. And we got student discounts! (good thing we had our IDs)

It's sad we couldn't eat our food from Sbarro there tho. 128532

Family bonding moment with the girls and my little man AJ! Great place to hang out, not at all crowded despite the weekend. Friendly and helpful lane boys and really cool electronic scoring system. Loved this contraption for kids. Seriously, AJ scored 3 straight strikes with this one! 128512128512128512

I don't have a proper photo of the place so i'll just attach one that has our faces in it #sorrynotsorry 128541

I just found out that SM southmall has a new entertainment area. It has places for bowling, billiards, darts, game consoles, a small arcade, kinect, karaoke and a food bar. There's also a pretty clean restroom inside the area. The area is pretty small. When we went, there weren't much people so it was pretty spacey. But by the time the word gets out, i'm sure the place will be packed. As i said, it is pretty small and i don't think it can accommodate the crowd that will soon be flooding the area. I just hope the place won't be cramped when that happens.

I like how the lady guard only allows people who'd really play to go in but she is so mataray. She doesn't ask people nicely and her face is like this 128544 all the time. Not very welcoming. 128542 also, food from outside is not allowed to be brought in the area. If you have take-away food, they'll ask you to leave it at the counter.

Here are the rates of some of the activities that we've tried:
Billiards- 240 php/ hour
Darts- 150php/ 30 mins.
Bowling- 170php/person for 1 game

The place just opened last May and all the facilities(and the shoes!) are fairly new. The place is quite cozy with good ventilation and lighting even with a lot of people. They have several game stations like the wii, billiards, playstation, arcade and other leisurely activities like a private karaoke booth and massage chairs.

The food in the bar wasn't so good though. We didnt eat our order of nachos. I only liked the cheese flavored french fries. Its also quite expensive for its quality.

Give it a try while its still new! :)
