So when J was here last November, the biggest reason for his visit was to watch "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" together. It has been both our #relationshipgoals to watch a Harry Potter movie in the cinema with a fellow potterhead. I can go on and on about how I loved the movie, but I'm writing this review about the cinema.

So basically, SM Seaside's Large Screen Format Cinema is a big ass cinema with more than a thousand seats, and a ginormous screen. According to SM, it was the first of its kind in South East Asia and is one of only 2 in the Philippines. The other one is in SM Angono. The cinema is powered by Christie, a 6P laser projection to reflect the actual color as it was shot from the actual movie set. The screen is apparently 30% larger than regular wide screen cinemas. Leg room is very generous and the quality of the sound is undeniably crisp and excellent. As a movie goer, spending the extra Php 100 is worth it in this cinema.

I am obliged though to tell about the glitch we experienced during our visit. At the start of the 3d movie, it seems that the left eye image was slower than the right, which made it all fuzzy and weird. I thought there was something wrong with my glasses, or even worse, my eyes. 128576 But when I started to hear more guests complaining, it was then that I realized it was a system error. After a few minutes into the movie, they stopped it and went back in the beginning. It was sorted out accordingly, and J and I still enjoyed our movie experience.

I definitely recommend watching a movie in this cinema. It's about Php 300+ for a 3d movie, which I think is already such a bang for your buck. I can't wait to come back. 128571
