Watched Smart Music Live event here last July 14. I liked the stage, the sounds and the lighting prepared for the event. I was able to see and hear everything happening during the event despite seating at the Upper Box B. Bouncers assigned at the area was also very attentive and alert. They would open their flashlights and assist those walking the stairs especially when the lights go out. They also ensured that no one was seated at the stairs for emergency purpose. They even walk around once in a while. Also, do not worry about missing any parts of the show if you go hungry as there are food and drink sellers rounding the seats area. Just call them and they will go to you. They are very friendly and attentive.

Note: caps of drinks like softdrinks and bottled water are removed when served/provided to you for security purpose and to ensures that you don't throw them to anyone

So lucky that I won two tickets from Kenny Rogers Philippines to watch the Lady Eagles and La Salle Lady Spikers Finals Game 1 last April 23 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

So happy excited because I'm a fan of Phenom Alyssa Valdez and of course supporting team Ateneo. My daughter Adelheid L joined me and my son , hubby and mom I just bought tickets for them so they can watch it too.

It was a memorable experience. Breath taking game as the two team were both good in volleyball. Lucky to watch this game as this was Ally last season to play🏐

Everyone was lively cheering for their team. There were food stalls outside in case your hungry. It's a memorable experience for us, we enjoyed playing volleyball game, it was intense ! 128517 shouting and shouting until I realized I had no voice already but it's worth it as long as it was ADMU vs La Salle

Went here to watch the Semi Finals Game : UST vs NU 128149

Can't believe that this coliseum started waaay back 1970's 128561

I think the food counters here are a bit overpriced considering that Araneta doesn't want any outside food going in. I hope they could lower their prices because at the end of the day, the customers are forced to buy lang naman sa kanila. :(

A day before the fight, my family were hoping we could still get a ticket for Pacquiao-Mayweather. During lunch Saturday, we went just to buy the family's ticket. So as soon as im off the car, takbo ko sa ticketbooth (wearing pambahay and sinelas) and Boom, i caught a cameraman from TV5 there, so since im in a hurry, diko na pinansin and i said, di naman cguro ko iinterviewin.

Gosh, but when i was buying, Kinukunan na pala ko from behind and when i turn around, the reporter and cameraman even asked me to show the 6 tickets i bought and told me to say something on camera! Wahhhhhh, Blood rush naman ako!
So i just did what im told while shouting, Go Manny! ahh, soo funny! 128541

Yun nga lang i wasn't able to watch it on the news. Haha. We didn't catch it at home.

And on the next day, the whole family felt soo excited and happy, Kasi nakatipid instead of paying 2,500 sa pay per view. But sadly, natalo na si Manny, Naputol pa yung show during 8th to 11th round! 128545 Boo! Cignal Boo!

I have watched many concerts in this place! Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, The Script, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz and each one was just as memorable as the last! The most recent one I got to attend though was the Jason Mraz concert on November 27. It was my second time seeing him perform and he's absolutely amazing! I love that whenever I watch concerts here, the crowd is always so interactive! They sing along to every song word per word, I love it!

This place is so big, a little too big actually. I don't see the point of their General Admissions section because you can't see anything from there anyway so what's the point? They should just block that part off or something, I don't know. The guards and ushers are very friendly and helpful! The place is also mostly clean (until after a concert of course, haha).

Another plus is they have a Taco Bell, Wendy's and Pizza Hut in the Coliseum open until 10PM so you can grab something to eat during the concert!

Because Jackie M recommended, sharing photos I took in 2012 when we watched Tears for Fears.

One of the best concerts I've watched at the Dome.

The crowd went wild when they played their hit songs Woman In Chains, Sowing the Seeds of Love, Shout, Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Head over Heels, Break It Down Again, Badman's Song and others.

To the young ones, check these songs in Spotify or YouTube and maybe you'll like these hits from the 80s too. If you do listen, if it's not much to ask, leave a comment which one you liked the most :)

Watched SAVED FESTIVAL! The Saved Festival alone was great! A wonderful night of worship was really heartfelt and awesome.128077 Grabe! The guest artists were Victory Music Team, Francis Chan and of course, the most awaited Israel and the New Breed! Awesome worship leading/music lessons from Israel together with the New Breed! They sung so many songs sulit as in! Sa sobrang dami and sa sobrang energy that we exerted kame ang sumuko! Super worth it from Israel alone! I wanna give 5 star for them.128077

But and a bigger BUT, I need to rant for the service of the coliseum.
I had to get off 2 stars for the worse service that I have noticed and experience here at Araneta Coliseum.

I hate that people cannot re-enter this place when you're already inside its like I was forced jailed. 🚷128128
I also don't like that they are removing bottle caps. Its unhygienic. Water was so exposed and it tends to spill always, thus forcing people to buy again. tsk tsk tsk! So I always had my own tumbler cause I need it for my throat and since I always go here for concerts of christian artists and we sung all night long.
The food choices inside was so limited and monopolized! If you don't want pizza, tacos, burger which was sooo dry and bland or ice cream which was ALL OVERPRICED! Then you don't have a choice. ❌❌❌ Also if you want coffee and you are seated to upper box/gen ad well you might wanna wait for the concert to finish or you could go and unfinished the event before you could sip a cup of joe or eat a more reasonably priced food!❌❌❌

How I hate that they are so inconsiderate its so obvious that they just want money from the people who are jailed inside the coliseum.

Yet patience was really tested. The next event I will attend to I will definitely turn down if its here.
Its so fortunate now that there is a MOA Arena which was closer to our place and has a nicer service.

Saw Boyz II Men last night. The concert was okay. Kindda made me go back to my gradeschool days, when all i can hear around from my schoolmates who were already in relationships then, were Boyz II Men songs which pierce the heart. Haha! What i didnt like about last night was when the chocolates from Malaysia which my friend gave me minutes before we went inside the coliseum, was confiscated and that we had to come back for it after the show. That wasnt really the issue, the issue was the claiming part. Me and my friend had to go around the whole coliseum before we found the South Gate where our items were deposited. The guards didnt really know where they had to point us. And there were no signs around either.
