We went here on a weekday Lunch to try their famous Rib Rack and to satisfy my craving for the Persian Ground Beef which we ate during our past 2 visits. Unfortunately, the ribs was unavailable for that day while the Ground Beef was already replaced with Pork menu ☹️
Anyway, the food was still great and special, it wasn't ordinary. We ordered Persian P185 and Filipino barbecue P190!128077🏼

This was recommended to us by a friend so we opted to try it when we were looking for a place to eat in the area. When you're having dinner here, be careful cos the street's not well-lit. Look for their round logo (it's covered a bit by plants) to see the place.

Their service was good. Since it's our first time to try Smokin' Cues, we asked a lot of questions from our server and she was quick in answering. She even gave recommedations based on what we wanted to order. I got the Persian barbecue which was served with butter rice (you can choose pita and not the rice though). The meat was thicker than other Persian bbq/kebabs I've tried. This is also the first time that I got to taste a kebab that's a bit crunchy on the outside and super soft on the inside. The crunchiness gives me something to look forward to in every bit. The sauce on top was not enough. I wished I could've ask for more cos I really like how it went with the kebab.

Btw their restroom is super clean also! The supplies (soap, tissue, etc.) were complete. This is kind of a rare find so that's a plus point!!

Halfway between ok and liked, actually.

Ordered their paprika beef. The taste was nice, but unfortunately, the spiciness of the paprika is lost to me. The smokiness is there and the flavor is unique. Not your run off the mill BBQ. Sure, I did ask for it not to be so spicy, but I didn't say no spice. :( and for BBQ, it's a tad oily.

Would have complained about the service too, but they were genuinely apologetic about servicing a later customer first, so I'll let it pass

On the fringes of White Plains, Quezon City just near Bawai's the mother company stands this relatively new restaurant serving good ol barbecues like barbecue pork belly in skewer, beef striploin and chicken yakitori. Paired with their awesome and addictive Java rice and I am good to go. Has al fresco and air conditioned dining, parking didn't come as a problem here.
