Not a casino player but definitely a lover of hotels! We stayed at the Sky Studio Suites since it was fairly newer, and one of the cool features of the rooms here is that you could book two rooms facing each other and have a central master door to make 2 big rooms into one super-spacious suite, still using each of your own cards 128522128077🏻10084

Room layout is spacious, having its own lounging area... And that white armoire is just amazing, opening up to reveal a mini bar with ref 128522128077🏻10084

And yes, get ready for l'occitane toiletries 128522128077🏻10084 felt like being pampered in Rustan's hehehe 12852210084128077🏻

Breakfast buffet experience at Fresh was also superb, though was also fascinated by the luxurious interiors 128522128077🏻10084

It was a great day for a dip at the poolside, minus the crowd, and you could even get your own cabana 128522128077🏻

For me, staying at Solaire was definitely, living up The Suite Life 100841008410084️ and hey I think now they're having booking promo's!!!128525128525128525

For two consecutive years, we've been celebrating New Year's Day here. 127879

(Sorry for the backlog!)

We ordered 2 different kinds of teas, a basket of bread and a variety of pastries. 128525

They all looked and tasted really good! My favorite was the croissant with cream cheese. 128523128523

That day was really surreal not only because of the food but also because my cousin won nearly 40k in the casino playing slot machines! 128561127922127920 And he only had 5k on his pocket before that. 128079🏼 Such a lucky guy! 128123127808127808127808

My family and I had a recent staycation in Solaire. It was my first time here, but after our amazing experience, it will definitely not be the last 128522

Check-in
I wasn't familiar with Solaire so there were a lot of "getting lost" moments (ie., from parking, to check-in, figuring out where the Theater and hotel rooms are, etc). But the signs all over the complex were very helpful, as well as their staff members who were always ready to direct us to the right direction. After much roaming around, we figured out that after parking, guests needed to go to the Casino floor. And from there, just had to figure out where to go :)

The Room
The bed and pillows (there were 4 normal-sized and a couple of throw pillows) were super soft and comfy. The restroom was very spacious, clean and bright and had a complete set of toiletries. We had to request for additional towels and bottled water, which was readily given to us. There was also a bath tub that was squeaky clean, not a trace of grime or dirt.

Some opportunity areas:
The shower heater. We initially couldn't figure out the hot/cold option, since the lever only turned clockwise. One of the staff taught us that we had to turn the lever clockwise, fully, for a warmer temp. There were bouts of of cold water at some point (they said it was after-effects of the Earth Hour), but tolerable.

We also couldn't figure out how to efficiently operate the TV. There seemed to be too many buttons and menu options, and response time was slow; as if it was buffering. Would have preferred a more straightforward set.

Theater and Casino Areas
The theater was smaller compared to CCP, so acoustics was less majestic. However, since it was Les Mis that we watched, regardless of which theater it will play at, this for me is still the best, most-amazing, spine-tingling musical ever.

As for the casino, nothing much to say as we just walked around and observed. The area smelled of cigarette smoke, but tolerable.

Useful tip: there is a foodcourt in the Casino floor, which serves relatively cheap but good food. For instance, they had large pizza slices for PHP175. Other meals were at least PHP250 to PHP350 or higher, but serving size can be good for 2 people.

Pool and Gym
We visited the pool at night, almost closing time. I'm not an avid fan of swimming, so I just relaxed in one of the chairs. It was very breezy, perfect for a relaxing and just looking at the stars in the night sky (cheesy!)

We also went to the gym/spa floor, although it was supposed to close in about 10 minutes. The staff members were still all smiles and very welcoming and one of the gym trainers even toured us around and gave an overview of the equipment. My brother and dad visited the next morning, and they were so giddy with what the gym offered-- high tech equipment, a jacuzzi, sauna.. The works! They'd even let you borrow earphones if you forgot yours. Superb!

Overall Customer Service
Amazing. Almost at par with Manila Pen, which is the only hotel in Manila I'd willingly give an excellent rating. Everyone was so warm and accommodating, never judging anyone regardless of how people were dressed or appeared to be. My dad even had the gall to go to the Casino wearing the hotel slippers (haha!) and he had no complaints of anyone giving him a judgmental eye.

Needless to say, an experience worth 5 stars!

Spending hilarious weekend with good friends.

Yes! A friend of mine surprise one of our good friend for her 30th birthday and got their premier suite at agoda for 15k. The hotel room is spacious enough to accomodate small group gathering. Part of the living room includes a bar area with a complete smallwares and mini ref. They also have a toilet for the use of your guest. We brought our xbox kinect for us to play group games using their flat screen tv but if you wish to hear some feel good music or edm like what we did, you can use their ipod dock. While the bedroom has a king size bed with super comfy pillows and bathroom with a separate bath tub and walk in shower (imagine that you're living like a queen, sipping your wine while your in the bath tub) 128521128514. Complete toiletries that also includes a set of spa essentials. Butler service is superb, they accomodate our request immediately (even i think we ask for too much most especially ice) 128514128514. Meanwhile, the following day, we had a quick stay at their swimming pool and they provide free towels for the hotel guests.

The hotel staffs is generous enough to gave an indulgent med size chocolate cake for the birthday celebrant and a small box of assorted chocolates as a welcome giveaway for their guests.

Indeed a fun filled day for us and a memorable day for the birthday celebrant 128513128521

Got the chance to stay overnight for the first time at Solaire thanks to an offsite wholeday work session.

The room was nice and spacious, staff was friendly, but nothing really blew my mind. The food (which is very important to me) was just so-so. Being pricey made it much worse as I felt the quality wasn't really there.

Good place to go if you're after a staycation and a trip to the casino or maybe have a show to watch, but nothing much else.

It feels like I'm living in a Penthouse hahaha!
Oh, this is the life of the rich & famous haha charing
Whenever tita beng visit Manila, she always checks in here in Solaire and since she already have lots of record here the management gave her a great deal. This suite is originally 35k per night but because we're already a "regular" in this hotel, we had it at 18k haha!
Awesome way to spend the holiday, pampered myself in the suite's huge bathroom and slept in their comfortable king sized bed with really big and soft pillows.
Also, this room has two tv so we can watch Pangako Sa'yo while Thea's watching Cartoons haha!
We weren't able to try the amenities this time but who cares, the room itself is already worth every centavo.
Would definitely come back and hopefully nxt time Premium room na hahaha!

If you get the suite at this place, it is a dream!!! The regular rooms are just that... Regular. BUT I would pick to stay at Solaire for the comfort of the rooms (any type) as opposed to Sofitel rooms. Curtains are automated. Bathrooms are spacious and they have a wonderful stand-alone tub (for the suite).

Now for their breakfast buffet. Yoghurt/dairy section is awesome! Breads galore. But I would pick Sofitel fare over Solaire's. However, Solaire's selection isn't bad at all. I always go for the crispy fatty bacon (why have bacon if it is lean anyway? These lean bacons are a desecration to bacon...!!! Hahah).

Layout of the dining area is chaotic, somewhat. I much prefer the ease and flow of Sofitel's (the whole lobby design of Sofitel's is much better).

But families should try to have a staycation here especially because Dreamworks is a stone's throw away from Solaire! No, don't stay at Nobu. Overrated. Tight rooms and hallways... They fitted the hotel design to the original structure of the building (which was supposed to be an SM condo from what I hear... Eeeyikes!).

Service here is superb... At least from my experience. The room attendants are always helpful. The breakfast attendants need a bit of work as they always seem to be scrambling about.

Great rooms. The Sky Tower is really beautiful.
Food was good and the wait staff are attentive and efficient.

The reason for the the low marks are:

Customer Service for the hotel is sub par.

- No one even offers to help you with your bags. They will let you walk around sweaty and panting while lugging 3 huge bags without an offer of help. Access to the hotel towers are a substantial walk from the main lobby. And since no one will assist you with your baggage, expect a smart ass quip from the tower guards that "you need the exercise anyway" when you lament the inconvenient access and the long walk.

- I understand how establishments like this can be anal with security especially since some guests have millions with them but do you really need to have your billeted guests sign security papers just so the tower guards can use their key cards to let you access the next floor? Be warned, they will not go out of their way to make sure their guests get a comfy experience. They will make you walk very far to get that papers.

- I didn't realize that open seating spaces here have a caste system. I get those areas with blatant signs of "Exclusivity" but open seating areas along the function rooms and you will be shoo-ed? We're not vagrants. We're paying guests.

I do not expect to be tended hand and foot by Solaire staff. But things like this really irk me. You will not be treated like this at Resorts World. I hope City of Dreams has a better service than this place.

Will not be back again and will definitely compare the service against hotels in Vegas when I go there in May.

Checked in with friends. Got a huge room with city view and 2 double beds. The bathroom with tub and marble tiles had a separate shower stall, very spacious and clean. The toiletries were good enough, they gave a lot of free bottled watered and they sent free treats at night. Wifi was free and fast. Pillows and duvet were fluffy and soft. I'm usually hard to impress when it comes to local hotel rooms but Solaire did surprise me. I hope they do a good job maintaining it. Even the pool area is great.

My friend had a little accident, she slipped inside the bathroom and their emergency team were quick to respond and very helpful. They immediately came to help us and brought down my friend to their clinic. Luckily, she's doing fine.

I was going to give it 1 less star because at the lobby, I was so bothered that toddlers were running around along with adults smoking their cigarettes, but then this is casino, parents should know better.

We have always enjoyed our Solaire room stays - until now. Housekeeping did not check all the drawers because there were packets of condoms in the bedside table. They were unopened but still really gross. It was a free room but they shouldn't care less about standards. It could be an oversight but I thought they would at least have room checks 128544

Solaire Resort & Casino is been so good to me and especially to my mom. They invited us to stay here. 128541

I didn't expect that much cos it was just free but hey no. This is too much. 128525 Manila Bay view room.

They never failed me from being amazed with their service.

We asked for late checkout and yeah they said yes even we know they're still fully booked for the next batch.

This is one of my top hotel in Philippines. 128525

Ha! Finally visited the place! thanks to my aunt who invited us. Went there to have lunch on the 2nd of January. 128513 It was so unexpected that I wasnt prepared...physically. Nakapambahay lang ako! gaahhhh!!!! 128557128557128557

We had lunch in their food court because I heard minors were not allowed inside the buffet. But their food court was not the one you usually see in the malls, it was decent and the food was served very fast not to mention their big servings! 128525

I can eat here everyday! haha the prices were reasonable but since my aunt is a member, I think one of the benefits is that you'll pay -50% in any food you order in the food court 128077128077128077

After that, we roam around and we saw this "Mona Lisa Project" where the painting of Mona Lisa was recreated in different versions. hahaha it was so cool! There's a bitch mona lisa, modern mona lisa, hippie one 128514

And I observed that there were a lot of restricted areas for people below 21 128517 well, Im 21 but I have to prove it pa since it's not obvious hahaha lol (aint complaining)

We had tea at the Oasis, their teas were legit ones not the tea bag haha but actual leaves. We also ordered some pastries! Look 128070 they're so cute!!!128523

lesson learned: Better be overdressed than undressed 128553
