One of the best breakfast buffet. They started way back with just a few dishes and now they have a lot to offer and better. They also kept the prices affordable. Will visit you again. 128077128077128077

Breakfast buffets at Somethin' Fishy is S-U-L-I-T!! At P199, you get to choose from a variety of dishes. Food served are the usual breakfast meals served at home so better set your expectations. But you get what you pay for, or perhaps, a bit more. :)

Breakfast buffet at 189 per head? San ka pa! This is probably one of the cheapest buffet in the metro. 128513128523

Their breakfast buffet starts at midnight to morning, so its the perfect place to go after parties or after a long and tiring day, or maybe after a really early mass 128522

You can see it in their crowd, during midnight its full of young people and during morning its full of families 128513 (halata tuloy na madalas akong kumain dito) 128514

Anyway, the food is not the best but for 189 what can you expect? Its good enough for the price! I emjoy eating here because I'm a breakfast person, I always eat like a king during breakfast 128514128513

They have a lot of good stuff here! Do not miss their country style fried chicken, beef tapa, spanish sardines, corned beef, ham, and omelets 128522

I also like their siomai, everyone says its too salty but I really enjoyed it, 128514

And for dessert, they have the famous kakanins like palitaw, puto bungbong and bibingka, you can also ask for pancakes and waffles!

Oh diba sulit na sulit, Lagi ako magsisisi after eating here pero nakailang balik na ko hahaha, the idea of it is just irresistible 128514

My daughter Moving Up dinner celebration last Thursday evening at Something Fishy Eastwood.

I reserved 13 pax for that evening. It's been awhile since the last time we went here. I thought of this place to be the perfect venue for the moving up dinner celebration since we were so many and it would be more sulit if we go for an eat all you can restaurant. Rate for that evening is 299 nett and inclusive of drinks already. Then glad they have the graduation promo which my daughter Adelheid L who finished the junior high school level is entitled to eat for free as long as she will show some proofs like grad invitation , picture and valid id, and she must be accompanied by 4 paying adult then we have a small kid visitor and his for free.

There were Mongolian section there , dimsums, I enjoyed the lechon kawali there, Kare-Kare, seafood soup, and many more. They have desserts like ice cream, halo-halo, maja blanca, palitaw etc.

What's good about something fishy is they are until 12 midnight , very sulit 128077

Nice place to celebrate special occasions like this one 127891

I haven't been to Somethin' Fishy for so long now but on Saturday night our former boss who is an expat was in town and was craving for some Sinigang! We used to work in EWC and we would always go to Dencio's or Fishy for her Sinigang cravings so we brought her there. All the way from Makati, C5 traffic was so bad on a Saturday night - almost midnight. Since Dencio's was already closed, we were left with Fishy.

Their breakfast buffet is famous and from 99Php it became 108Php, etc, etc until it has doubled to it's current price of 199Php. We skipped the buffet since they didn't have what Susan - our former boss- was craving for. So, we ordered a la carte and got the following --

Sinigang na Baboy - oh their signature sour Sinigang Soup that's definitely a soul food. One sip and it brought back all our EWC memories! We asked for extra kangkong and they gladly obliged without any extra charge.

Pork Sisig - one of the best in Eastwood, their version doesn't have a lot of onions as extender like what you'll find in other places. There was a certain crunch to their meat pieces, which I liked, not too oily and salty and had the right kick of calamansi.

Pork Adobo - oh the pork overload that night! Their Adobo was good, not top notch but good. The pork cubes were tender and tasty. It had the right soy sauce vs. vinegar ratio.

Seafood Rice Platter - we don't usually order this but gave it a try that night. The serving was huge! A big pile of rice served as a bed of generous portion of shrimps, crabs, mussels, clams and squid. Oh it was seafood heaven indeed! The Fried Rice was really good - it was salty, had bits and pieces of egg as well as crab and shrimp meat. The seafood were cooked just right - plump and juicy!

Service was a bit slow, probably because there were a lot of people lined up for the buffet. It took a while before our orders were served. Nevertheless, Somethin' Fishy is still a good late night option when craving for some good 'ol Filipino classics!

Its valentines night most of the resto are fully booked or on a waiting list. We tried here luckily we are the next line. Eating start in sushi and maki as expected irs not the best but not worst good catch for the day. Its been a while since i ate kohol not that good the lechon is very dry. They have kilawin meat and fish good combination oyster is fresh di masakit sa tyan and other food typical buffet taste. The place is too crowded and the floor is slippery and they have that fishy smell somewhere. The service is fast inspite of full house probably will return not that soon.

We headed to this restaurant since this was where one of my clinic's Christmas party was held. It's apparently a buffet place with prices for lunch and dinner in the 500-600 peso range.

The place is fairly big but looks kind of old. The buffet area itself and the various stations aren't exactly in tip top shape either.

For food, they offer a variety of sushi and sashimi, salads, Filipino and Chinese dishes (including adobo, sisig and siomai, siopao) as well as varied seafood and meats. There's also a dessert area with some cakes and a make-your-own-halo halo area. Oh and the ice cream they use is Big Scoop so yay for that. Now none of the mains really stood out for me. All the food was just okay. I did really like the fact that the drinks are included in what you pay for, though and they include various fruit shakes, juices, etc. However, each glass is served to you when you ask and it can take servers quite a while to get back to you.

Service was fine, although slow at times. Quite understandable, however. I'm glad this was a sponsored dinner haha.

Affordable, freshly-cooked everyday, delicious and heavy breakfast plus the nice ambiance. Try this breakfast buffet in Libis for only P199 per head!

Whatever happened to this place? The last time I was here was sometime in 2011 and I recall it being much better. Now, the Somethin' Fishy breakfast buffet was very lackluster and unimpressive.

When we were getting the food, you can tell that a lot of the dishes have been sitting out for quite a while. The tapa was dry, the siomai were stuck together and obviouly not fresh, the mangoes looked sad, the eggs were watery and tasteless, the breads were hard and stale, etc. They also weren't clearing the tables as frequently as it got closer to 10AM. Just about everything was lousy, bland, lukewarm, and depressing. The only thing that had legitimate flavor was the pork adobo.

I don't know that I would recommend this place. There are definitely better selections and more to offer at other buffets.

TBH, can't even be bothered to take photos of their food. 128529128542

Really havent tried their normal lunch and dinner buffet but I'm a regular customer of their midnight buffet. Hihi Everytime we're having a stressful day at work and we "need" to pig-out while on a budget, this is our place. Only 199php for breakfast buffet!!!!! And you can avail this from 12mn-10am, how's that? Also a good place to go to after a night out with friends. The food were not that great but just right for the price. (Kidding. This exceeds the worth of your 199php, maybe 250php? Haha Motto ko nga, umarte ayon sa binayad. Haha) You really cannot say na tinipid "lahat" ng food or ingredients. Some tasted ok, some are bland.. you just have to know what to eat and what not to eat. They even have french fries.. French fries for breakfast? Why not. Haha My favorite is their tapa, spicy longganisa, red-sauced sardines and french toast!!! I think they offer more than 20 dishes... not bad,eh?! They also have some apple, banana and peach slices meant for waffle toppings but i always sneek those as my dessert. Hahahaha Oppps. Will be really happy if they include bacon in their buffet. (How i wish) 128514128514128514 also, for an additional of 60php you can have unlimited coffee/juice. Tried this once and will never avail this again. More water, more fun nalang ang peg. You will not go to a buffet resto just to fill your stomach with instant coffees, powdered juice and softdrinks.

The place is always jampacked so make sure to have a reservation if you will dine here in group.

Celebrated my advance birthday lunch with my family. We're a group of 12 that is why we availed the free buffet for a group of ten. Then it's my birthday then I have a free buffet too! The food was great. There are different to choose from Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Seafood and Desserts! Worth the visit and the try. 128513

Midnight to Morning Buffet

The selections are not that bad for the price. The one on the photo is my American-themed plate.

Love the mac & cheese, obviously a cheap for-all version but the cheese just had that salty kick. Southern fried chicken was also good, really crisp and juicy.

Their yang chow rice was so-so. You'd think they just colored it yellow. Sweet & sour pork was too sweet. Some selections are to sweet, while some are bland. Why is that?

Service was also slow. Drinks are served per glass and unlike yakimix, you couldn't drink a lot even if you tried.

No leftovers. I understand but please don't make us eat something from a plate that's already stacked over!

Glad they're cheap or I would've been infuriatingly disappointed.
