These Thai foods are just so perfect and I can't get over with it!128525 We've been eyeing on this place since last month but it was quite far on our office to have lunch out. I am a solid fan of Pad Thai so I was so excited to try this one out.

We've ordered:

Kao Kluk Gapi (Bagoong Rice) 11088110881108811088
It could already make you full since it already have pork cubes. 4stars since I actually didnt notice that there is a bagoong on it but it tastes good.
Price: P185

Kao Pad Saparod(Pineapple Fried Rice) 110881108811088️️1108811088
I like pineapples and cashews so I loved it. Very much sulit since it can be shared by 3-5pax.
Price: P195

Pad Thai (Chicken/Shrimp) 1108811088110881108811088
My ever favorite Thai food! Well, I love this dish so it never goes wrong unless it'll be cooked on a different way 128539 I tried both Shrimp and Chicken and I loved them both. Price: 205

Gai Hor Bai Toey (Chicken pandan) 1108811088110881108811088
I love the tenderness of the chicken meat in every bite! Served with sweet&spicy chili sauce. Price: 245

Tom Yum Goong 1108811088110881108811088
Hot, Sour soup w/shrimp & lemongrass. Their local version of sinigang! 128525 It was a bit spicier than ours. Price: 255

Kaprao Talay 11088110881108811088
Mixed seafood with basil. I like the sweetness of the sauce. It was with the least serving. Price: 255

Sticky rice with Mango 11088110881108811088
Sticky rice with coconut milk and slices of mango and a cherry on top. I liked this but the serving is few 128541 Price: 95

Overall experience: I would definitely come back! 128525

Thai..ina! Ang sarap! Hahaha! My boss brought us here for dinner and thank the Lord she did! after eating here, I craved for it as soon we finished the meal 128561

We got thai iced tea, chicken sate, chicken pad thai, bagoong rice, salted fish fried rice, pandan chicken, green chicken curry, a pork dish which I didn't catch the name, and sticky rice with mango. All of them were delicious! I couldn't stop saying "Ang sarap!" until the next day at work.

It's a hole in the wall restaurant but man it surely is a gem in the city. I can't wait for their branch to open in Eastwood! 128518 I'll be definitely eating here again soon! I'm craving for it now again as I'm typing this 128555

Sorry I wasn't able to take photos of all the food. Got too excited to eat 128517

Songkran is one of the few places that I would consider a personal comfort food destination in Makati. It could be because I've had some fond memories there (eating with officemates, eating with parents during my interview, eating with officemates again when I resigned, etc.), but I would like to think that I also go back because of how good the food is.

If you have a seafood allergy like me though, then your options for some places would be limited. But in Songkran, I've found (with the help of officemates) that there were actually a few good dishes there, that when paired, make for a flavor trip that I keep coming back for.

My go-to dishes for Songkran are the Green Chicken Curry, Chicken Pad Thai and Pineapple Rice. All of the dishes have chicken in them, so one may expect that it would be an overload of chicken -- but when you eat them together, it's not the case.

The Green Chicken Curry has a body of flavor that works well with the sweetness of the Pineapple Rice. However, when you check the curry itself, there's not much chicken in it but a large amount of sauce. That's where the chicken in the rice itself helps in making you feel full and satisfied. If you need a break from the flavors of the curry heat and the pineapple sweetness, you can take a forkful of Pad Thai and feel better about yourself before continuing on and letting the cycle repeat.

I sadly wasn't able to take a picture of the pineapple rice, but one serving of each of the dishes can already feed 2 to 3 people, so no need to worry about it running out. What I'd advise you to worry about is the heat from the curry itself and possibly running out of belly room pretty quickly -- but that's nothing a nice glass of water/milk or loosening the belt can't fix. :P

This place is close to my office. Really yummy food. What lacks in portion makes up for the intensity of the flavors. I would definitely go back here.

I am not actually a fan of thai food, but if you're looking for a place 'not the ordinary filipino cuisine' then this is the place to go. And for 1st timers, i recommend the Pad thai.

The verdict:

The place: You can find this hole on the wall in the stretch of salcedo, near paseo center. Its a decent place where you and you're pals can chat and rat decently but this place is usually full. 128543

The food: some of the favorites are of course the Pad Thai, Gai Hor Bai Toey or 5pcs Pandan Chicken, Poh Pia Sod or Fresh Spring Rolls, bagoong rice, and dessert, try the sticky rice with mango. I

The price: The house specialty, Pad Thai cost Php 205 (good for 2-3), the Pandan chicken is Php 245. I wasn't happy though with the fresh spring roll that cost around Php 145 :-( i think next time, i'll better get the fried spring roll. For the win, i was happy with the sticky rice with mango at Php 95. Perfect to rub out the thai taste flavorings.

The service: I think its is fast. The waiters are attentive and approachable. :-)

Over all: i am going back here for the Pad Thai and Sticky rice with Mango! 127834127819

Sawadee ka!

Photo: Shrimp pad thai!128523 An order is good for 2-3 persons.

They serve really good Thai food but they only have a few tables. If you'll be here for lunch, be early. 128516

My office's favorite restaurant for lunch, dinner and for any time in between. Great Thai food! I'm in love with their Thai iced tea and tom yum goong. Their pad thai, chicken pandan and beef green curry are also a hit. They can directly deliver food around the area for a minimal fee. Their staff are also very warm and attentive. Two thumbs up for great service and superb food. 128077128077 A definite must-try!

Can I say just how hard a good plate of pad thai is to come by nowadays.. This little hole in the wall restaurant was a great find -- with limited dining hours of course. This place has the best pad thai, aside from my neighbors and the one Dusit Thani has to offer. It's food is affordable and good for your money -- as simple as that!

i had the chicken with basil rice toppings (P145). portion was ok. but, frustrating that there was hardly any chicken in it (1/2 a nugget, minced). it would have been good if there was at least a fillet of chicken (subway sandwich is way better). their thai ice tea washed down well the spicy meal. I won't recommend this place. waste of money
