Spider House is a rustic treehouse-style lodging offering casual rooms with sea views, plus restaurant and sushi bar. Spider House is located in Diniwid Cove just a few steps from Nami Resort.

My friend recommended this place and decided to try it by sunset. Before going here, one of my friend went to crossfit in station 1 and the rest of us enjoyed swimming in the beach. The place was undergoing major renovation so we took the harder route going by climbing the stairs and entered at the back of resort Unfortunately we arrived late, we weren't able to witnessed the sunset and the place was already crowded. Most of the customers were foreigners and loke us wanted to chill and be away from the busy White Beach. We were seated upstairs at first, a few minutes later we were able to get a seat perch on cliff. It already dark so I did not enjoy the view that much.

127829 We ordered Pizza starting at 310 php. An additional of 90 php each topping you have on it. It's a bit expensive but the pizza was really good. My friend ordered the pizza and added pepperoni topping. Wrong pizza was served to us but it was too late since one of friend already had a slice of it, unaware of the pizza we ordered. We just cancelled our initial ordered and paid for the pizza served to us with chicken and ham added on it. Still the pizza was really good. I felt bad for the group who ordered it and needed to wait for a couple minutes.

127839 Potato wedges. It's a bit tough but it was ok. Thick cuts with a ketchup dip.

127837 Seafood Marinara. My friend wanted seafood so we ordered it. It was good and came with a generous serving of seafoods on it ( shrimp, tuna, squid and mussels). The sourness of the sauce was perfect. Worth the price. We ordered Carbonara too. It was so-so. The creamy was thick and heavy. There's an umay factor after my first bite. 128529

Sushi Bar was unavailable during that time.

Since it's already dark we weren't able to dive. We left, fix ourselves and went to White Beach for the pub crawl. 🙂

We came back the next morning for a cup of coffee since we already had our breakfast at Nami. The scenery was really beautiful. Went for a quick dive and left.

Service was ok. There's only two staff going around with a big crowd and tends to switch orders like we had during our dinner. But staff were polite naman. Coming back is worth it naman coz of the place.

The place is perfect for a group friends. Sunset is romantic but not the best place for couples coz of the big crowd.

If you want to just sit, chat with friends and watch sunset this is a place to visit. Away from the crowded station 2 this is the beat place to visit. Their pizza is the best and fruit shake is just okay. Their staffs are friendly and what's best is that you can swim and jump since the restaurant in located at the cliff. Price wise- quite expensive.

Visited Spider House at Diniwind when I was in Boracay last weekend. I like the place because its elevated unlike other resto bars in boracay and u can go down to swim. It is also not crowded. Their mojito and pizza are good.

One of the things that I loved about Boracay is how there is never a shortage of things to do or places to visit. Every time that I am back, there is always something new. If you are looking for a new place to try, I highly recommend that you visit Spider House. While it is not actually a new establishment, it is something that remains off-the-radar for many people. I know a lot of people who have been in Boracay several times but they still have not been to Spider House.

Spider House may not be on the list of places to visit for mnay who are in Boracay because it is far from the main beach. You need to ride a tricycle and pay around 100 - 150 one-way. From the main road, you still new to walk for a few minutes and go through cave-like formations before you hit the place.

It is best to visit Spider House before sunset. Be there around 4:30 pm. By 5pm, it starts to get crowded since many are visiting to have a glimpse of the beautiful sunset. They have a wide selection of food and drinks. When we were there, there was even a DJ playing live music. You can go down the cliff ad swim. There is also a raft.

Spider House is away from the hustle and bustle of the island. It deserves a quick visit to have a break from the usual and to see Boracay from a new perspective.

Another new place for me here in Boracay. This time on the further side of station 1 at Diniwid beach. To get hear we rode a trike for 120php for a group of five. Upon reaching Diniwid beach we were surprise that there were lots of Caucasian foreigners hanging out, chilling on the beach. This was like their hideout. But this was still less crowded. We proceed walking to spiderhouse which has a cool cave like entrance. It was a hostel turn tourist attraction due to its cliff jumping board. The place got a relaxing vibe but waiters were not so accommodating to locals compare to how they treat foreigners.

For the food they've got sushi, pancit and pizza. Food were just okay okay nothing special. Pancit Bihon was priced at 400php quite expensive and can't help to appreciate how much bigger we would have get if it was Ambers. Hehe.

But the place real selling point was the relax vibe and the beach. Love the view of the beach and the blue water on this side of boracay. Great scenery and a much quiet side.

Overall I would recommend the place for the beach and great hangout place. But food was not recommended. Doesn't taste bad but wasn't worth the price. :)

Ok I'd give this 2 stars if it weren't for the place itself. The good thing about it is it is far far away from the noise and basically the people from the shore. It has a "kubo" vibe and it's best for relaxing. I heard you also have access to unli diving by buying anything from the resto. They also have a balsa that anyone can use.

The food is on the pricey side. Personally, I was ok with mine which was a breakfast platter of bacon and eggs + toast. My friends who ordered American and Filipino breakfasts were very disappointed. Considering the price, their food tasted bland.

And service was so so bad. Staff were not attentive. My friends' orders came with either coffee, tea, or juice. They opted to have juice. We asked the waitress what juices they have and she said they have orange, watermelon, & pineapple. My friends got the last two. When the bill came, we were charged 180 for the juices which were supposedly included in their orders. Apparently the inclusion was only for canned juices. But the choices that the waitress gave were for fresh juices.

In short, we paid for the stay and the view, not the food.

The view here is amazing, and that is worth the trip alone. The food is also okay, not great, but it might just be the one that I ordered. Price is also affordable, not too cheap or expensive. It is just right.

Breakfast or lunch by the beach? This is my favorite place in Boracay! It has good food and relaxing ambience. The same 'relaxing' feeling I had when I experienced the Loboc river cruise. Want to go back soon! 128525128077
