Still the best in town if buffet ang pag uusapan. We celbrate our 36 years wedding anniversary last night and Spiral as always impress me. A cheeses room paradise for a chesse lover like me. Start from the mild cheese to hard aged chesse. What impressed me most is there gorgonzola. chesse it taste hint of sweet in my palate or may be because Im a cheese enthusiatic.

Definitely the best buffet place in Manila. We went here to celebrate chinese new year, its been quite a while since ive last dine at this place and it seems theyve upped their standards.

We have a sofitel member with us and its typically 35 to 50% off the tab but since theres occassion that night it was only 20% discount for hotel members.

It was quite full with staycation peeps that the parking is almost full even with their valet service, first time ive encountered a full valet on a hotel, but since there are a few slots reserved for certain people and since its past 730pm, its kinda safe for them to give these parking spaces up, of course with little "assurance" else its several meters walk to hotel from the other parking lot.

I cant describe every single dish ive tried since theres so much varieties and choices. I think ive barely even tried 1/4 of the food choices here.

I think this was the best buffet i had in a long time as other buffet places had already diminish in quality, this place had exceeded my expectation. Fresh seafoods, expensive dishes, excellent hygiene, superb services.

The cheese selections here which some are from italy and france and quite a few excellent local cheese were really good.

Teppanyaki place was good as well. Very fresh seafood and tenderloin was 128076

Best chinese selections here with good quality peking duck, sea cucumber, eels, and some expensive items.

Dessert here are the best. So much choices. 128525

Coffee from illys are excellant as well.

At more or less 3k++ each it may not be the most economical place to dine but if your a hotel member its almost the same price as niu.

Overall if i could give 6 stars to a dining spot, this would definitely be the place.

Easily one of the most sought buffets in the country. It’s not just about quantity of variations but also the effort to make sure that every dish is delicious. One of the out of box experience is their cheese room. No one has done it to that extent. Their dessert area is wild too- most extensive I’ve seen. So when eating here, don’t eat for days. 128522

Family lunch at spiral, as usual, loved everything. But since I usually go here for dinner, I was surprised that for lunch they don't serve as much seafoods and desserts 128546. I was expecting my favorite chocolate truffles but it was nowhere to be found. 128542 They had some cakes, creme brulee's, marshmallows and chocolate fountains, some gummy worms and chocolate barks. Was quite disappointed. We also got 3 different pasta : pesto, arrabbiata and carbonara- all too salty. ☹️
Good thing we enjoyed the remaining food. 128522

Went here a couple of days ago. Didn't have any reservation but we were able to quickly get a seat anyway near the Asian section.

There's a lot of food choices but my fave would have to be the Italian section. I love their pizza and pasta (haha it's only during this visit when my friends requested for pasta dishes such as pesto and aglio olio that I realised that you can ask the chef manning the station to make other kinds of pasta aside from carbonara and bolognese. super fail 128514128514). They also have risotto during our visit and it was really good!

No photos of the cheese board we made but we didn't like ot hehe. We're not fancy enough (chos 128514128514) to appreciate most of the cheese we got hehe.

They didn't have steak then only beef and pork ribs + sausage.

Dessert was okay. A lot of mini cakes on display as well as several flavours of ice cream to choose from.

Service was great. Ambience was really nice too. Definitely not the last time that I'll be going here - next time I'll try not to get too distracted and maybe then I'll actually take more photos hehe 128514

Our room accommodation came with a buffet breakfast. I enjoyed their bacon, noodle soup station, sparkling wine, freshly squeezed juices, and the service was superb! (At least the wait staff assigned in our area)128076🏻

Something new since our last visit: PHO!

Found near the Korean section of the buffet, you can choose beef or chicken. Their pho stock is beef but if you don't eat beef, they'll use the chicken stock from the Chinese section. 128517 It's not bad, since the soup stock is very flavorful.

My sisters also always get their foie gras and it's great with peaches and their balsamic sauce. 128077🏼

I love Spiral!

Spiral features 21 ateliers at Sofitel Philippine Plaza. Expensive? Yes, it is! But I told myself that I don't have to travel the world to experience renowned cuisines. So, makakatipid ako. I don't have to buy plane tickets and book hotel accommodations.

Everything that I ate were delicious. I just wish I can eat here everyday to try everything. They have a ridiculous wide array of food and I can't pick my favorite because it's all 10084️.

The luxurious ambience and the smiling and friendly staff made my dining experience perfect.

I will surely go back no matter how much!

You can never go wrong with this buffet. They can satisfy your different cravings with only the best! We were able to catch the Chinese New Year festivities. It was a superb spread (as usual). We got our plump hakaws, prime cuts, fresh seafood, among others. Don't miss the cheese room!

I never thought buffet could be enjoyable, until I finally tried Spiral. 10084

Yes, it's really expensive but I must admit that your dining experience will all be worth it. At first, I had all the doubts and curiosity for this place if it could fit to its cost, the fact that I am the type of person who is always after quality food with good value for money.

I have observed 3 distinct qualities for this place - superb food selection, quality food (fine dining level) and classy ambiance, which will all define your dining experience. It's a fine dining buffet. You just need to think thoroughly about the food that you will taste and indulge with, which might be confusing. But I guess, the trick is to choose the food which you don't get to taste often. The selection on steak, oysters, salmon, and cheese will already fair. 128522 And oh, I forgot to take photos of my food, proof that I really enjoyed them and the moment spent. 128077🏻128077🏻

Sofitel's Spiral buffet is by far the best buffet here in the Philippines. They have a wide variety of sumptous international dishes all part of their famous 21 ateliers.

It was difficult where to begin this food adventure but below would be some of the highlights of the night.

-Their pasta station which served the best carbonara i've tasted in my life. Buttery and yet cheesy, all works for my taste buds.

-Dimsum station serving my favorite siomai and siopao. But i do love their mochi wrapped in banana leaf. It was a piece of heaven in my mouth.

-Seafood station with fresh salmon, tuna, local lobsters, shrimps, oysters and clams. You really can't go wrong here unless you have an allergy. I must say that their prawns and clams comes in big portions.

-I love their cheese room. I can't remember all the names of different cheeses I ate but it was all worth it. Best paired with cold cuts advised by the server inside the cheese room.

-Japanese station has some cool artwork of Bulbasaur made into an open faced maki.

-Have I mentioned unlimited serving of their artisanal foie gras and duck confit?

-Bread and pastry station served the warmest and softest loaf with some melting pesto butter all perfect to match the complementary green tea.

-My favorite station is their Chocolatier. They make their own different kinds of chocolate which they served in a wooden drawer.

-Their dessert station is just one of a kind showcasing an amazing three towered fountains for your fondue. Chocolate, white chocolate and matcha fountain all ready for you to enjoy.

There are so many things you just need to experience here in Spiral. From 6:30pm to 10:30pm you enjoy their atelier worth visiting.

Spiral has an impressive set up with endless food options. I knew very well that I wouldn't be able to sample everything so I took my time and surveyed all of the stations.

Things you should try
- the cheese room, the server was very knowledgeable and helped me with my choices. I loved the triple cream cheese and the meats she recommended. That serving plate/chopping board was adorable. It can be intimidating to step in but it was well worth it.
- shrimp cocktail, fresh shrimp with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. Loved this so much that I helped myself to a second shot glass.
- ceviche, just the right acidity but would have preferred a smaller portion
- the round appetizer near the sushi that looks like a cake, the cream cheese and the orange bits tasted so good. Not sure if that was salmon or fish eggs.
- Japanese fried rice, loved that it had salmon pieces
- caramel macchiato cake, for coffee lovers. One layer has a gelatinous feel which was a bit weird but kinda worked.
- chocolate soul - rich chocolate layers but I don't like nuts.
- that chocolate with marshmallows and crunchy stuff in the chest drawers, So addicting.

There were a lot of other dishes that I tried but didn't really make a mark. The buffet areas didn't feel crowded. The dishes were plated nicely. Some were too far to reach though and I had to stand on tiptoes.

We went on a weekday for lunch. There were times that the servers were very attentive and cleared our plates right away but there were instances that the table was filling up with plates that needed to be bussed out.

I would love to come back for the things I wasn't able to taste and for that cheese room.

Breakfast Buffet
Definitely not for the weak stomach, unless you can eat a plate of different cheese to have your 1843pesos worth it. They have filipino, chinese, thai, indian, european, and japanese cuisine. Plus, the cheese room, the fruits, salad, the different juice and smoothies (i think there were about 8 different choices). There were also a pancake station, waffle station and 2-3 egg stations (one on the japanese area, one on the italian cuisine and another beside the indian cuisine).

imho, it isn't worth it if you are a minimim wage earner & you have to pay the full amount of 1843pesos. There were 2 of us when we ate there and we had a membership card, so 50% discount. Our total bill was 1000pesos each which was worth it
