The only thing okay here is the chili cheese fries, the slut's spaghetti which is supposed to be puttanesca is way off. Idk what they're trying to pull here for the puttanesca but its sauce was sweet, it looked great but the flavor was sweet and spicy. I like my puttanesca a bit salty and mildly spicy. The portions size is good for sharing, I'll give 'em that the prices were kind of justified. The carbonara was too creamy, nothing special. However we did enjoy the the spoken word poetry and monologues by words anonymous.

I love the place, the service, the food, the music.

This is a really nice place if you want to unwind and destress.

Comfort food in a comfortable place in the heart of Mandaluyong. Food is priced very friendly on the tummy. My personal favorite is the Alcoholic Barbecue Wings.

Late post again. 2nd time to dine to try out their other dishes.

Food
We ordered Sriracha Chicken Wings as our appetizer. It came after they'd serve our main course. We almost forgot that we ordered this chicken - appetizer should've been the first thing you'll ate, right? 128517128517

The most irritating after too much wait - the chicken was bloody! Goodness! It's a food safety risk! They retrieved our order and re-cooked it (literally!). Took some time again - but sad experience again; the chicken turned super dry - because they haven't replaced our order!

Pininyahang Manok - I ordered this for my dinner. The taste? Cream! It should have been called All Purpose Creamed Chicken. No hint of pineapple as it is supposed to. Really bland!

Service
No apologies whatsoever concerning the bloody chicken. Bad service as we waited too long just for the wings!

Cleanliness
Fair.

Late post. First time to dine here.

Food
The pork belly was really tender. Literally fall-off the bone. Overall taste is sweet, salty and fenel-ly. Italian rice was okay too (although not fond of eating olives). 128556128556128556128556

Hi this is my 2nd review for this resto. 128513
In photo: Roasted Pumpkin soup
-Pumpkin and carrot blended until smooth top with cream and cayenne pepper powder.

It's creamy and tasty. The carrot added sweetness in the typical pumpkin soup. The cayenne powder added spice and flavor just the right kick.

Overall, I loved it. I've tasted a lot of pumpkin soups this is so far the best I should say. 10084

Good job! 128077🏽

Usually you will have to pay 1000+ to eat somewhere with good ambiance but this is an exemption. For as low as 180 pesos you get gpod ambiance, good food, good service.

Food is prepared in 15-20mins without deteriorating the taste.

I will definitely come back to taste the other menu. 128077🏽10084

I visited Splice Modern Feast for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The atmosphere as well as their good food and service make it one of Mandaluyong's best upscale restaurants. I love how the restaurant is very cozy and elegant. The wide open atmosphere also helps fill the room with nice and warm natural light.

We started our feast with the Pesto Parmesan Fish and Chips. Both the cream dory and the potato wedges were good. Fresh fillet! The batter was crispy but also light. Not at all greasy. I actually didn't even ask for lemon as the Garlic Mayo dipping sauce was citrus(y) enough. I prefer less sauce on it, but it still did not take away from the fact that the fish was fried just right.

The 8-hour Barbecue Belly was absolutely delicious! This is where the money is. The pork belly was super tender and flavorful, glazed in BBQ sauce. This dish was served with their signature 'dirty rice' and a side of corn salsa. I'd definitely come back for this!

The Sriracha Butter Wings was pretty bomb. I liked this a lot not just because I love spicy food but because the buttery Sriracha coating really made the wings amazingly delicious.  It was a bit on the salty side (in my opinion), but the wings were tender and meaty!

The Chicken Saltimbocca was not quite as memorable, but still good nonetheless as I haven't had too many delectable Chicken dishes like that in a long while. What I loved about Splice is that they are not shy on their portions and their mean pasta dishes.

Speaking of pasta, we tried the Tequila Mussels Linguine. The pasta was al dente with just the right amount of bite to it. Light and tangy with a nice texture from the cheese. The Parmesan had a good, strong cheese flavor and was not too dry. Just right. The NZ Mussels was a little bit chewy (overcooked?) and I couldn't taste much of the tequila in them.

The Danggit and Chicken and Carbonara was to die for! They absolutely drench the pasta with chicken skin which is my absolute favorite thing to eat. It just melts in my mouth and I try to savor every little bite as much as possible. I almost ordered another one, not to take home, but to eat right then and there. If you love cream-based pastas, this is the dish to get.

I also personally enjoyed the 8-hour Brown Sugar Belly. The meat was tender and flavorful without being too fatty. Braised pork belly can often be too savory (with a strong braising liquor taste), but this one was good. You still get the tenderness and juiciness of traditionally braised pork belly, but you also get a more concentrated caramelized brown sugar flavor and a more distinct crust.

Lastly, we had the Classic S'mores for dessert. Now, where do I begin when describing this mouth-watering goodness? It is everything you remember as a child; Gooey marshmallow, crunchy graham cracker, and silky milk chocolate. As you bite into it, the flavor combination takes you aback for a moment. As the chocolate melts in your mouth with the marshmallow and graham cracker, it takes on a more decadent flavor than just s'more. Favorite part is that the marshmallows were slightly brown, like the ones you eat at a bonfire! You'll definitely have an OMG moment or two with this one.

Splice's good food, great service, and unique atmosphere give it a distinct and memorable personality, which makes it an original and satisfying dining experience (whether for dinner or brunch). If you're looking for a good Fil-Euro fusion restaurant without the fancy-schmancy, then this is definitely the place to go.

A lot of restaurants seem very familiar (whether it is the menu, the service or the atmosphere). And even though the food might be good, the experience can feel like it can be found at many other places. Splice, on the other hand, has a certain uniqueness to it that really makes for an original and rewarding experience.

Cheers
Mickey
