In two occasions, Mia and I had two generous servings of Gelato here. For just Php 200, they throw in two scoops. And you just add a sweet and crunchy cone for Php 25 only. We didn’t get to finish what we had in two visits!

My favorite would be their take on simple dark chocolate, Chocolate Noir. It was subtle yet flavorful. St. Louis, their best seller, I found too milky. It did have a nice kick of caramel to it. Finally, Salt Caramel had a welcome contrasting taste of salty and sweet.

St. Louis still got so much to offer, like their Breakfast and other dessert options! We will surely come back for those!

The best thing in life are SWEETS. After the successful event at Tsuta, we had another awesome looloo rendezvoos at St. Louis House of Fine Ice Cream & Desserts 127846127856127874

128205Sa baba lang ng Tsuta. Besides Ooma 9996🏻

Thank you Peanut D! I had so much fun 🤪🤩128523 siguro kasi andon si Jairus d haha

Food 11088110881108811088
➡️ Churros for 2 (P350)- churros + chocolate, what more can you wish for? I soooooo love this dish (my favorite) specially the 2 chocolate dips that comes with it10084
➡️ Nutella Affogato (P280)- my second favorite. I love the combination of the nutella, french vanilla ice cream and espresso. 128076🏻
➡️ Ooh La La Chocolat (P350)- it was ok. The presentation was beautiful but the taste was ok for me.

Price 110881108811088
➡️ A bit pricy for me. Maraming less expensive restaurants that serves good desserts.

Ambiance & Service 11088110881108811088
➡️ It was full so we decided to seat outside. Ang ganda ng menu nila. I suggest they also include their ice cream. I’ll come back and hopefully i’ll get a seat inside 128538

Ang daming promising items sa menu. Do you have other recommendations?

When you are STRESSED, then head to St. Louis House of Fine Ice Cream & DESSERTS! (Haba ng name, pang tongue twister!) The minimalist design of the place with a coffee book like menu gives you the posh feels.

This dessert place is popular on churros so the group decided to get the Churros for two (P350). It includes 6 warm churros served with melted couverture* chocolate and cinnamon on the side. The churros are warm, crunchy but really soft on the inside. There are two chocolate dip, the light one tasted like caramel chocolate while the dark tasted like a normal chocolate. I prefer the light one which complements the churros really well.

The second dessert was Ooh lala Chocolat (P350). A dessert creation which includes warm, rich chocolate fondant, dark chocolate paint, chocolate soil, fresh strawberries, meringue and nutella. It also includes scoop of Chocolate Noir ice cream. This offering is just normal and nothing special. Strawberries and chocolate combination does not suite my taste. Aside from the fact that we are already on glucose overload with the churros, this definitely will bring you to hyperglycemic levels.

The place is good for occasional meet up if you want to have some desserts. The churros saved the day but sweet tooth will definitely enjoy the chocolat creation. So whether you are craving for meals, desserts or coffee, St. Louis House of Fine Ice Cream should be one of your options.

PS: They have meals available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try the classic affogato (P220) for something Instagram'mable to post. Thank you Peanut D. for the after Looloo Rendezvoos invite.

*Couverture chocolate is a very high-quality chocolate that contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter (32–39%).

I had an hour to spare before going to another appointment. It had a quaint and minimalistic feel which made the ambiance more cozier and conducive for working or having an afternoon coffee with colleagues/friends.

I just wanted something to drink. I ordered Mocha (Php 180) and it was delicious. I super liked the chocolate syrup drizzled on top and on the sides of the cup. Yum!

I want to go back to try their food and other drinks. Open for recommendations 128522

I love hot chocolate as much as I love coffee. There are a few places that serve pretty good hot chocolate like Tim Horton’s and Toby’s Estate, just to name a few.

St. Louis is the newest cafés in BGC that serve incredibly delicious hot chocolate. It comes with three different variants - milk, white, and dark. I’d choose dark chocolate anytime of the day. It’s lesser sweet and you'd get to enjoy the richness of the chocolate. But then, I decided to just try the milk chocolate one.

It’s quite sweet but not as sweet as Starbuck’s and CBTL's. It's thick, and it's rich that it's almost cloying to finish the entire cup alone. And what makes it irresistible? That sinful shavings of chocolate on the rim of your cup makes you wanna lick it! 1285251285179996🏼 I got a slice of their banana bread to pair with my drink and quite liked it as well!

The place is also serving ice cream and desserts - but maybe on my next visit!

If i had to go find a hot chocolate drink, this is the place i will visit and the place that i will recommend to you.

Generally, prices here are super duper high. But their drinks are reasonably priced.

128204128525 hot chocolate @180PhP
It comes in three kinds, milk, white or dark chocolate. Obviously i ordered the dark chocolate. I really like how they do it. The rim of the cup is covered with chocolate of your choice! Lick the cup. Haha. Me? I used the marshmallow to get all the chocolate. The best part is the drink itself, taste is full, i really love it.

Their ice cream is intriguing, but pricey.
Drop a visit here and try their hot chocolate!

Right after lunch at Ooma, we went straight here for something sweet. Because no matter how full a person may be, there will always always be room for desserts. Yes? YESS!!!!! 128069

PLACE. This located right beside Ooma. Wouldn’t be that hard trying to locate this in Central BHS.

From the outside, you can already see the ice cream area and you just can’t help but want to go inside and see all the flavors they have. And once you enter the place, you’ll see the other half of the place, the cakes and pastries!! Ahhhh, seeing everything makes choosing so hard! Ice cream or cake? Or crepe? Hmm, churros?? 128563128518128517

For me, the place is just okay. Would be better if it is not too dark inside, if they somehow made a way to make the place look brighter (and happier).

FOOD: We first checked the ice cream display and sampled some of the flavors available. Upon checking the menu, we decided to just get one crepe and coffee.

The crepe was good. It’s nice that they used fresh strawberries and not the jam or the preserved strawberries. They added A LOT of fresh sweet strawberries added. Legit! 127827 Also, the nutella spread added was just enough. Not too much that all you can taste was sweetness. It’s also nice that they separated majority of the nutella so you have the option to control how much you want and don’t want. 128521

9749️ MOCHA LATTE (Petite - 160php)

I read somewhere that their MOCHA LATTE is the "best" (I can't remember anymore where I read it) so I was (sort of) excited to try it. The pictures online weren't that inviting/tempting because they all just look too sweet and messy to drink. Instead of the usual latte art, they added chocolate syrup on top.

My drink was not so good. ☹️ The taste was weird. It was sweet but I can't taste that much chocolate which is weird. Parang coffee with sugar + sugar + sugar + super konting chocolate syrup. ☹️ Also, the mini cookie was too sweet and when you bite the cookie, hangin yung laman. 128542 Sorry, this is not the best mocha for me and I'm not recommending this. 128563

My aunt ordered coffee as well but was not able ask about it anymore. I think she liked it. 128517

As mentioned above, we were able to sample the ice cream and my favorites are the BLUEBERRY YOGURT and the PASSIONFRUIT. French Vanilla was also good. 127846Hope they offer more flavors next time (i.e., pistachio, dark chocolate, avocado, and matcha green tea).

SERVICE. Staffs were all very nice and accommodating.

Will I come back? YES! For the breakfast menu, for the avotoast and chia bowl! 128155128154

Uber friendly staff.
Clean and tidy.
Expensive, but real enjoyable.
Whiskey sour tasted like a proper cocktail should. Presented quite well too!
The strawberry ice cream is the bomb! I did like the raspberry sorbet too. The blueberry tasted a little funny. Cant go wrong with chocolate.
Very much recommended.

Who doesn’t want sweets after a day of pigging out? Cindy S suggested that we try the St Louis in High Street and we all agreed. I wonder why I didn’t notice it when I went last time. Lol

We found our couch spot in the corner where there’s a very nice book shelf. One of the staff immediately served us cold water which I like, she’s just very prompt! We were undecided on what to order and suddenly, one of the co-owners approached us and started discussing the best sellers. We were all attentive! What we have in mind: “Can we just order you?” JK hahaha!

And after few minutes… another staff went to us and asked for our orders. We’re still undecided so he gave us options.

Finally… we ordered for~

Wild Strawberry Waffle ( P380) – this is one of their best seller and one of the “instagrammable” on their menu! It’s a home-made St Louis waffle with maple syrup with white chocolates topped with fresh strawberries. The waffle itself is TDF! I find some waffles blunt but this one, you cant go wrong. It’s not too sweet and i like it that way. The syrup, white chocolates plus the strawberry ice cream made it even more delicioso!

Sweet Amalia Journey (P380) – served with three choices of ice creams, topped with French macarons with fresh strawberries, raspberry coulis and lemon curd! I enjoyed this the most. Though it took us a while before we eat it and the ice cream melted already, it’s all worth it! We chose St Louis ice cream, Nutella and cheeky monkey.

Of course I needed my dose so I ordered for their Café Latte coffee (P160).

I noticed that during weekends, they have a high foot traffic especially from 7pm onwards.

Overall, I like the customer service, the interiors, how the fixtures were arranged and the cozy vibe. I love their ice cream and I would like to try other flavors next time! They also serve alcoholic beverages.

I would like to commend their branding style, well done! I dunno but i really admire resto that has a good branding sense cos that’s how they promote and make impact to their customers. 128076🏼

Fun times, as always with Norman Lester T Angela Marie C Cindy S Patrick V 🤗

They have all kinds of dessert you might be looking for. From gelato to cakes, waffles, and churros! Gaahh my cousins and I shared 6 sticks of churros with dark and milk chocolate dips. It was good, but probably not their specialty.

Service wasn't as great, and that's maybe cause they're still new. But there is definitely hope for improvement. They also have to take into account of things, like how they serve certain things. The dips for the churros were difficult to deal with when the churros were getting shorter. They might want to try a different container for that, instead of shot glasses. Also for the milk in a shot glass that they gave my cousin. It spilled while she was putting it in her coffee and it was cold enough to make her coffee cold. Huhu

Hope I see improvements the next time I'm here. :)

If I were to review just the dessert I had, I'd give this place 5 stars. I loved the Eton Mess. It's sliced fresh strawberries, meringue, raspberry coulis, and lemon curd topped with strawberry ice cream served in a martini glass. Perfect for those looking for something light and not too sweet. I happened to share this with 2 other friends, but I'd be perfectly happy to have this all to myself.

The leg ham baked eggs was served on a large skillet. I (along with the 2 pieces of bread on the side) was overwhelmed by this. Maybe I don't know how to eat baked eggs, but I find myself always having to ask for additional bread whenever I order baked eggs. Suffice to say, I didn't even finish half of the skillet.

I also tried the St. Louis hot milk chocolate. I liked the melted milk chocolate on the rim of the cup. I however prefer my hot chocolate a little thicker than this.

The menu was beautiful and I loved leafing through its pages. This place somehow reminds me of Max Brenner (that old chocolate bar which has sadly closed) although with a more relaxed vibe. I could see myself coming back, but maybe focusing just on their desserts.
