When it comes to promotions, i am usually the last to know. And if there is a slim chance that i am privy to a certain promotion, short term memory loss gets in the way. Good thing the buy one get one promotion at hand involves my favorite poison - Matcha baby!

This is the first time i visited St. Marc in UPTC. I sort of avoided 'em for a while due to an unpleasant experience at their Mega Fashion Hall Branch. As they say, let bygones be bygones so here i am standing in line waiting for my matcha treat.

I think it is their anniversary hence they are offering their matcha latte on BOGO. I got the cold and hot variant. If i had known that their matcha latte tastes like this, i would have visited their Greenbelt branch every chance i got #MatchaRegret.

I like the perfect balance of milk and matcha. I can still taste that familiar bitter taste that i completely adore. The iced variant is decent too, creamy and has that subtle matcha kick.

As i am writing this review, i already planned my next visit. Promo or not, their matcha latte is worth another visit.

favorite place to hangout when i just want to chill and read... not so many noisy people around... ambiance is pretty nice too because they have this cool ceiling with upside down cups n saucers... as for the food...
of course chococron is 💯 the best croissant ever especially if u ask them to warm it up although its getting smaller by the day...
ive only tried the other premium flavor which is hazelnut flavored but the server said was salted caramel which is totally not the same dude! so 3/5 on that one!
love their iced latte strong enough to keep u awake but not too strong to cause palpitations plus its not sweetened so u get this cute little packets of syrup u can pour to sweeten it...
their vietnam coffee was pretty good too so the only difference is that they put evaporaed milk so its sweeter
the katsu burger was a winner especially the fish katsu or white something (i forgot the name 128539) was so much better than the meat one.. and fries was pretty good too its a big serving so it fills u right up...
the carbonara on the other hand well i say not worth it for php300! ive read a few reviews thats say its the best carbonara ever but i say its just normal, yes the sauce was generous enough but i got "umay" halfway through it...
but all in all this will always be one of my book nooks around up town center! 🤓

Great coffee! The Vietnamese coffee was totally kickass. Strong flavor with the right amount of sweetness.

Average tasting pastries. The croissant was pretty much garden variety.

Poor customer service. The place was full bit the manager did not have the initiative to remove his laptop on the table even if he wasn't working. When we requested the staff to move his stuff, the manager came out of the office and begrudgingly removed it. Medyo nagtaray pa. What an a**.

Giganormous burger was worth it. Cooked to perfection. Wonderful sauce and veggie toppings. Fries cooked to a perfect balance of crispness outside and softness inside... coffee was waaaaaay too strong for me, though. Had to douse it with tons of cream/milk.

Cronuts I haven't tried. Will try next time.

Before going to the cinema, we had a sweet merienda first. I've been longing to try this one, but all its branches are too far from where I live. So I got really excited when I had the chance to go here.

I had the Mango Fantasy and my boyfriend had the Choco Banana Split. Then of course I ordered their oh-so-famous Chococro for the both of us.

The Mango Fantasy is a cup of summer! It's vanilla ice cream dripping with mango syrup. On its side, there's chunks of fresh mangoes, gelatin, scoop of mango ice cream and cornflakes at the bottom of it. Sweet, milky and luscious. The serving was big for me though. I thought I could finish it by myself, but I ended up asking my boyfriend to finish it for me hehehe.

The Choco Banana Split which I liked better than what I ordered, was really really yummy! This one's similar with the Mango Fantasy but of course with a different flavor.

The Chococro is incontestably a must-try to every one who goes at St. Marc's. This one slice of croissant filled with chocolate will make you crave for more. In fact, I'm craving for it while writing this. 128557

These eye-bulging desserts makes me forget of all the things I've been stressing about. The desserts displayed are very pleasant in the eyes and it's like they're calling you to try them all 128514

Aside from their food, the place is nice, too. Cozy and relaxing.

Went here last Mother's Day for our early breakfast while waiting for Casa Verde to open. This is my favorite St. Marc Cafe favorite branch and also the Megamall branch.

We got of course all time favorite Choco cro, it has other flavor too like strawberry and sesame seed. We were able to try French toast too.

The ambiance was nice and they have wifi here also. Nice place to hang out if your buying time .

After dinner and drinks at Silantro, my friends and I decided to continue our conversation at St Marc... Plus we all agreed that we needed coffee after that Mojito pitcher...128513

So we decided to share the Strawberry Heaven parfait and two kinds of chococro-- the black sesame and the regular chococro... I also got the Iced Vietnamese coffee and I was not able to keep track of what kind of coffee my friends got.

We enjoyed the parfait! As usual, I loved the strawberry bits, the syrup, the cornlfakes and cake admixed within the parfait itself... I like the caramel latte better than the Vietnamese coffee of St Marc... I think it's because of slightly less pronounced caffeine taste in the Caramel Latte... As for the black sesame chococro, I didn't like it... I thought it tasted like red bean for some reason and I'm not a fan of that. I wish I was able to try the salted milk chococro though... But the matcha variant remains to be the best for me!128522

Sorry for the lopsided pic, I was a bit loopy already!128514

Yes, the whole thing was delicious but I'd like to applaud that little pudding thing on the left for being the best thing ever. Getting to the cornflakes at the bottom is also one of the most awesome feelings ever.

It's a big serving so you can easily split an order and I think it's better to do so if Php250 is a bit too steep for you.

I tried only 2 items in this cafe: Chococro & Nara dessert128522

✔️Chococro (P55) - This chocolate croissant was good. I love the chocolate in the centre. Yum! I wish it was kept warm though. Plus it's kind of messy to eat.
✔️Nara (P230) - I enjoyed this desssert, too. It has green tea ice cream, soft-serve vanilla ice cream, red bean paste, black beans & matcha jelly. Yum! I wish it had more ice cream than jelly though128523 But to be fair with St. Marc Cafe, the dessert that was served looks exactly the same as on their display.

I'll definitely go back & try their items128522

Something new from St. Marc -- black sesame chococro!128522 It's not as sweet and the taste was really distinct.. so if you don't like black sesame, stick to the classic chocolate!128522 Matcha's still on top of my list, please bring it back!

If it wasn't too expensive here, I would've given them 5 stars.

I love matcha so much and St. Marc Cafe does not disappoint. I am in love with their Chococro & Green tea latte. 128523

I also tried some of their desserts but I say stick to the chococro & other matcha desserts. 128517

I see myself frequenting St. Marc a lot. Well if it’s not too crowded. I love their parfaits.

We started with the Choco Cro (Php 55),
loved it! It was warm, buttery, flaky and crisp with a generous amount of rich semi melted chocolate (made from blended Ghana and Ecuador beans).

Strawberry Parfait (Php 250)
I am sort of skeptic with strawberries as most strawberry desserts tend to be syrupy sweet or tasting artificial. But, the strawberry heaven has real strawberries (frozen and diced)! Not sweet at all and with the (sour) fruity acidity. It even has cheesecake and conflakes for texture.

I'm planning to come back next time though, so we can try other parfaits. Have you tried any of the desserts from St. Marc Cafe? Let me know which ones you think are good!

I love going to UP Town Center because it's near, it has a lot of restaurant choices, it has boutiques that I like to shop and now they have built a small mall that contained a department store, supermarket and more restaurant choices.

I passed by St. Marc Cafe after doing some groceries for our house. The place was crowded and I noticed that majority of the customers were ordering dessert. Yup, it's like ice cream crepe or ice cream crepe shaped like a cone or like a waffle cone.

Outside of the cafe, I saw a huge signage that said Chococro. It was that day I heard about Chococro. By the looks of it, it was like Chocolate Croissant...like cronuts...croissant and doughnut.

I decided to order half dozen so I can share it to my family. When I got my order, I could not resist the aroma. I just got to taste it.

You know what, it smelled really good but it tasted way much better. The croissant was soft and crumbly. The chocolate filling was delicious. It was really delicious that I was able to eat three of them. Yup, I ordered another box because I don't think 3 pieces of this heavenly baked goodies will be enough for my family.

Aside from chocolate, I think they have other flavors like strawberry and Matcha. I'll definitely buy the Matcha flavor next time because my youngest brother is crazy about Matcha.

I like there matcha latte.
Not so strong, not so milky.
I guess all matcha lattes be like: concentrated matcha froth on top (darkness depending the number of scoops) then milky-matcha all the way...

Try this medium at 150. Three sizes.
