I'm at friend's place nearby, and i really needed my nails get done, so i decided to try this nail salon. I was really surprised by how the place looks inside, judging from what i have seen outside (as the old saying goes, don't judge a book by it's cover 128513).

The people was nice and accomodating, and most importantly the experience was relaxing, really! I had foot and hand bliss spa, and manicure-pedicure. The service is great, they will offer you water or tea, they have hot bags for your shoulder, and the place's just plain amazing!

The attendants are really courteous too, i will definitely come back. 128525128522

After that hearty meal from Va Bene, we had our nails done here. We bought a voucher from Deal Grocer which had a 50% discount on a manipedi session. While choosing the color for our holiday nails, there was an additional for the polish used because it's a high end brand. The additional price for the polish was supposedly 100 for hands and another 100 for feet. All in all we paid 300 each(50% discount on manipedi + 50% discount on the special polish). Sulit!128077 Regular price would be 600 if vouchers and discounts were non-existent. The nail polish was vegan and the shade was SpaRitual Cassiterite. 128133

As for the experience, it was very very relaxing same as my first experience.128522

Bought my Deal Grocer just the night before and I was able to claim it the next day. Reservations were pretty quick via SMS. Service was good. Appreciated how the nail techs would ask regarding your preference and checks with you if you're satisfied with their work. But they could use a more pleasing and accomodating receptionist though.
Ambiance was okay only because i expected it to be more spacious like what I saw in photos. But I like how they veered away from the ususl fluffy vibrant nail spa colors or the usual earthy spa tones.

The best part is that they really do stetilize their tools. You will see that they come in this sealed sterilization plastics. And oh, they provide free drinks and heated herbal pillow!

Perfect for a date with your girlfriends.128133 I had a great experience here with Pat L and Anj.

We bought a voucher from deal grocer which included Foot Spa, Manicure, and Pedicure
for only 365php.

I felt so pampered and I can't wait to go back and have my nails done there again.128077

Went here with my girlfriends Jill R and Anj

We get to choose to sit either on their single Lazyboy-type chairs or on the couch. We preferred the single seating. Each chair came with its own matching foot stool with a thin table which made it easier for Ate to work on my hands. They serve water or tea, plus they also gave us hot compress for our necks. Btw we only paid P365 for a foot spa + mani pedi thanks to deal grocer :)
Our stay was really relaxing and I loved my pink polish! 128522

New nail spa salon discovery!

I'm pretty sure they've been around for sometime but it's my first time here and our main reason for visiting was for my sister in law's bridal shower.

Their package for 10 pax is 5k consumable. It is reasonable but downside is there are no other inclusions apart from cake pops for the guests and a GC for the bride. There is no food included and you are only provided a table for set up.

Regardless of the lack of inclusions, we still really enjoyed St. Nails. Other nail salons look too frilly and too big for social contact while you're having nails done. We all sat in front of each other and chatted away comfortably! It felt so cozy and really intimate because the place is small. The location is also great for North dwellers and for Southerns like me, Dasma area is not that far into Edsa and I HATE driving through Edsa.

I really love their selection of polish too!! It was hard to choose. The staff are also very sweet and accommodating.

Pretty proud of our buffet set up! I will do a separate review for our finger food from Conti's. I brought the platters and Pink Velvet cupcakes were baked by me.

Dear Nail Tropics,

I'm so very sorry for cheating on you. I swear it was a one time thing and it didn't mean anything. I don't know why I did that. I just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time. Forgive me. 128554

Hugs and kisses,
Chuty

I wasn't really happy with their service, and the boyfie had the same comments about his treatments. In my attempt to clear my backlog faster and get this done and over with, I'll do an enumeration type review for St. Nails

DOWNSIDE:
- it took 3.5 instead of just 2 hrs for hand and foot spa with gel polish. Tsk. They said just 2 hrs. Hello, based from experience, that is not remotely possible unless you have 2-4 therapists working on you at the same time. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt so I just asked for their most senior artisan, just to be sure. They gave me Rachelle. I timed her and sadly, it took almost twice longer than promised. 128078
- they charge an additional fee for use of 2nd polish even if you just wish to mix colors by using 1 coat each; or say you want to alternate colors for each nail. I don't see the point of charging extra when you will technically use the same amount of polish, same number of coats - just different colors. Two thumbs (and toes) down! This is the only nail salon I know that does this and believe me, I've been to a lot of nail salons already 128078128078128078128078
- they use low grade products (eg. Lotion, scrub, mask) that leave your skin feeling dry instead of silky smooth after the treatment. What's the point of getting a foot spa if it won't make your skin supple? Boyfie noted the same thing. 128078128078128078128078
- they use Orly gel polish but they only put the primer on the tips of the nail instead of the entire nail bed. Tipid moves! Boo. I waited for the gel polish to start chipping before reviewing so I can document how long it lasted. Why am I not surprised? It only lasted a week instead of 3. What a waste of money. 128557

UPSIDE:
- plus points on the warm herbal pillow they wrap around your neck and upper back 11088
- plus points for their "rolling working table", that way your arms will be relaxed the entire time. 11088
- offers tea or coffee; but their cup is so small
- I loved the floor design. The place has got strong potential IF they significantly improve the service. Not incrementally...but very significantly.

VERDICT: Not coming back. I will stick with my 'ole trusty forever favorite Nail Tropics! Plus they have a |ooloo special now. Yey!

One step inside and I felt pampered already. Love the interiors! The girl who did my nails was not very chatty and she'd let me know what she was about to do to me every single step, which I like.

However, my Orly gel nails were still a bit sticky and looking matte when I left. It took a few more hours to completely dry too. This has never happened to me with other nail salons.

WILL I GO BACK? I'll give it another try.

Decided to give St Nails another try as I had 1 Deal Grocer coupon left. Service today was waaay better than my first experience here.

Today Emma did my nails and she paid attention to my hands and feet. There was a significant difference with the way my feet were soaked and scrubbed and how thorough she was. I even showed her the bubble in my gel mani and asked for the name of the girl that did it. I said I didn't remember who, neither did I want to say that her name started with an 'A'. Buti na lang I kept quiet because I saw 'A' doing someone elses feet across from where I was sitting and she was as sulky with her new client as she was with me.

So because of this I can probably come back here. I really like that they close late. I'll just ask for Emma so that 'A' doesn't accidentally get assigned to me128527

This is a nice place. They have comfy chairs and swanky interiors. I find the location very convenient as you can hop out of your car and walk straight to the shop. Free wifi too. They have magazines, though I wasn't offered any, and I even spotted Jane Austen books.

Loved that they give you a color wheel to choose from. Better than looking at bottles in a basket.

The technician was mostly gentle but not thorough. She kinda told me a few times i had dry skin around my toenails? I never knew i had them. I don't like it when they kutkot the side of the toes so thats probably what shes talking about. And she couldn't help herself. She said if I don't take it out it will hurt. My toes have never hurt even when I don't have it removed. Now they do.

She was hinting she needed to cut the sides of my toenails too as she said it would hurt too if I didn't. And I still said no. I can also still feel thick sides of my nails that should've been removed.

I didn't like my gel mani. I got a really light pink color but it doesn't look vibrant. My cousin who was with me also had nails that were not that well made, like there were areas on the nails painted unevenly that they have less coating. We only noticed when we left, its like a cave in there.

My regular Orly pedi looked great. Except that I noticed 2 of my small toes had streaks in them.

Talk about basic service. No simple massage when they put on lotion. She slathered it on my left hand and arm, yet on the right she just put it on my hand. No scrubbing of the feet, not even with a brush. The foot soak which wasn't warm enough lasted for a minute.

Avoid the girl whose name starts with an A. She even said to her coworker doing my cousins nails that "tapos na ang paghihirap ko" right after I was done128530

Not relaxing though as some staff were talking. They were interviewing people and they had a friend there too so they were chatting with her. People from the adjacent stores were also loud, despite the door being closed.

And they play bossa music, which unfortunately I find annoying. Haha, sorry to all you bossa lovers. Before the end of my session my face was twitching already.

I left there thinking maybe I could come back. Now that Im writing this review I realize its not worth my money.

Best service for me is still California Nails in Market.

Love going here for a footbliss treatment. Opted for their gel polish. They have quite a selection of it. Very satisfied with their treatments and the staff are friendly too. Will definitely keep coming back for my "me" time mani-pedi pampering since its just walking distance from where i live. 128077128525

Bought a couple of vouchers from Deal Grocer for a Pamper Me Now package at St. Nails. It includes hand and foot spa, plus manicure and pedicure, for only Php 399! Pretty sweet deal. 128077

The place is nice! It wasn't like most nail spas I've been to because the interiors were dark. The other salons had a tropical feel to them (Coco Luca, Nail Tropics) while some had a bright, girly theme (California Nails and Day Spa, Dashing Diva). St. Nails had a relaxing, posh feel, executed by its "royal" interiors. Only indirect lighting was lit, and the colors they used for the furniture were royal purple and gray, with bare concrete walls, floor and ceiling, with black and white tile accents for the floor, and wooden plank accents for the ceiling.

It's the sort of place you could go to for a mani/pedi, then have a bit of a snooze. They also give you heated herbal pillows for your neck and hands! Very relaxing indeed. 128077

The service is also very good, and the therapists were all very nice, especially the one assigned to me. One of my freshly painted nails got ruined while I was putting on my seatbelt, so I went back to have it fixed. After fixing it, the therapist offered to accompany me to my car to help me wear my seatbelt! Haha! Ang bait. I felt so spoiled. 128519

They also have disposable slippers available, just in case you don't have open-toed sandals with you and you're afraid to ruin your pedicure. Only Php 50. 128522 I got myself some purple slippers to match my purple toe nails. 128133

I really loved it here. Even if it's a bit far from where I live, I think the service is worth it. And they're open till 11pm, waaaay after office hours! So you can still squeeze it into your busy schedule! 128077

Sorry for the dark photo. It's kinda dark inside and yes that's my newly pedicured feet thanks to this awesome nail salon 128516.

The place is small (8-10 lounge chairs or so) so make sure to call for an appointment. They offer hot tea or water as refreshment 127861but im not sure if it's unlimited 128513.

Their nail technician knows what they're doing and my hands and feet went home happy 128133128131128131128131.

I availed of their Opi gel polish for my hands priced at 600. For my feet just the classic pedicure at 250.
